It is likely that they “rebranded” or were refounded during the Sentinel Founding and because of all the ties to Ultramar in the proceeding Millennia, their true origins were forgotten
One example is the “hrud” a faction that made the iron warriors legion break when they were at their peak. Just because a xeno is minor doesn’t mean they should be taken lightly.
