What I like about the podcast is, that the guests usually speak a lot more freely about themselves than in any other interviews. And how many interviews if racing drivers have you seen that go for an hour? And there is so much to talk about with him, he's one of last remaining drivers from the beginning of the sport and was even knighted. If that is not interesting, then I don't know.

I feel so blessed to have had the Watson / Edwards commentary combo on Eurosport throughout the late 90's. I've great fondness for Murray, but Watson was brilliant and arguably the superior commentator. I still remember John narrating the pass Schumacher did on Alesi in Nurburgring 95 "he goes around the outside, side by side, through the Veedol chicane, what a race, what a pass". epic stuff

I have an issue with this one. Everyone should mourn for a passing the way they want. Hamilton should be free do whatever he wants. HOWEVER he has a job and the responsibilities that come with it, but because he's Lewis Hamilton he can get away with. If Bottas had said ''I don't want to attend the press conference'' I'm not so sure the team would have said the same thing.
Rosario Verano the whole of the Ferrari team were excused media duties when the same happened to them. Toto also didn’t do press on Thursday. Do you have a problem with him....he has a job to do as well.
Stop asking for different episodes and enjoy these ones. Stop asking for young drivers and simply be honored of hearing from champions like Watson was. What would you expect from nowadays drivers to be said? It's like nowadays footballers... 'it was a good match, I played well, but mostly all the team played well, and we are looking forward to next game which will be very difficult - maybe it's against the lowest and weakest team but anyway... - and we hope to do a good job as well, possibly better.. ' Do you want something like that?!?

I have lost all respect for the horrid Watson his constant dig at Hamilton is down in the gutter. Jealousy and sheer envy have reduced him to throwing insults and accusations-what a disgrace. He should not be afforded such prominence in the modern era of the sport he squarely belongs to a distant and bygone era where people like him looked at people like Hamilton as they don't belong among them. He claimed in an interview last week that he was a friend of Niki but Niki had never reduced himself to insult and deride anyone in the sport so they are poles apart on this and he could never rise to the lofty heights Niki commanded- shame on Watson for his rant about Hamilton... I truly hope the Mail paid him enough because it is a very cheap price for selling your soul.

You arrived when Watson had just left F1. He drove for some many years, more than 150 races and stayed in McLaren for quite a long time (like Coulthard). Not an F1 legend but still a good driver and someone cool to listen.
