Quick tip for the Breath Of The Wild Chefs out there! I recently found a three page cook book in the Rito Village, the cook book is located in the general store (I think)
I think that replacing the courser bed honey with an entire carrot would be better, as that automatically fills your stamina and give a temporary stamina boost.
I have a few recipes that I thought were great so I’m sharing some... Hearty fried wild greens: Full recovery + 16 ❤️ - Hearty Radish X5 Copious fried wild greens: 15 ❤️ - Apple - Hearty radish - Swift carrot - Endura carrot - Fortified pumpkin Energising honey candy: 14 ❤️ + 2.6 Stamina wheels - Courser bee honey X4

You can wear clothing that gives you these effects and eat the food as well. It will just stack up, unlike with cold / heat resistance clothing. Having two bars of effect is the maximum effect.
Stephen Harvey I always go to faron tower to get my durians, When I was exploring I got the tower and I found a durian, I didnt cook it until later and I found out it was amazing, After every blood moon I go back there and stock up on durians since they are so useful
on the opposite side of faron tower is mighty bananas, but you'll hafta fight some bokoblins. alternatively, if you've beaten the yiga clan hideout, you can go back there for bananas as many times as you want
Crit cooking Cold or Heat resistance with a Shard of Farosh’s Horn is amazing, you get double resistance if you crit. Then you can use whatever clothes you want in the Tundra for killing Lynels. I normally keep 3 cold and 2 heat resistant 30 minute food. Save before cooking, it crits like 40% of the time for me.
Best trick that took me too long to figure out is that you can just cook one hearty truffle (any hearty food, those are just easiest to accumulate) and it'll refill all your hearts. Save other ingredients to make money and just have a page full of health refill +1's. I'm sure many know about this but some don't, and because you have to stock up so often on master mode, it's a good thing to keep in mind.
Great video! The only additional thing I wish you covered were items that increase duration such as Rock Salt & Bird Eggs. For me, Bird Eggs seem to be great for adding duration to any recipe, but i'm sure there are even better options. You also didn't cover elemental resistance dishes. Would love to see a followup video on these extra things!
You should also mention Monster Extract and the fact that 4 Lotus-seed Pods and 1 Monster Extract CAN give 30 minutes of level 3 speed-up. Far as I understand Monster Extract works randomly though, so might wanna save-scum it.

Are you sure temporary hearts stop at 30? For some reason, I remember when I was playing recently, I ate a temp heart meal, I seemed to not get all the hearts, but the next time I got hit, I got absolutely no damage whatsoever from the visible gauge. It might be possible that temporary hearts still apply, but appear invisible to the main gauge. But I'll have to do some more testing to be absolutely sure of that
The maximum number of hearts you can have is 30, period. That includes yellow temporary hearts. That means, for example, if you have 25 Heart Containers and eat a Hearty meal that’s supposed to add 8 temporary hearts, you will only get 5 temporary hearts.

I absolutely love your videos and you have such a great personality for doing voiceovers. Easy to understand and cheerful. Keep it up. I’m late to the party and just got a Nintendo switch in August for my birthday and broke my ankle in September. I purchased breath of the wild and I’ve been playing it nonstop not being much of a video gamer I have 240 hours into this game and I don’t think that I have “beat it” yet. Gannon is way too scary for me. I’ve already beat the four beasts, but I just can’t muster up the balls to fight him. So I run around collecting things and killing enemies.😅 I’m nearly 50 years old and still love video games. Thanks again.

With the Hearty Durians, if you add them to a pie (by adding Tabantha Wheat, Cane Sugar and Goat Butter) it will produce full Heart recovery plus 5 as well, but only about half of the time. The remaining pies have full recovery plus 4, so it is only viable when you don't have Hearty Radishes lying around. However, you can easily get tons of Hearty Durians
I highly suggest to go to Rutile lake, it is right next to Satori Mountain. I accidentally went there when I was traveling , let me tell you one thing I don’t regret it. Rutile lake is a beautiful forest with TONS of ingredients and of course, a lake. I have never went to a place with so many ingredients. You will also find a lot of koroks in Satori mountain and Rutile lake. I think that area is so beautiful it’s my favorite place so far.
WHAT?????!!!!!!!!!!!! So if you can increase your stamina beyond max, like you can with your hearts, then there's really no need for stamina upgrades and you can go for broke with the heart containers, yes, AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That way I can tame a powerful wild horse without having to get stamina upgrade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
7 ปีที่แล้ว +4
Technically you can go with whatever combination of stamina/hearts upgrades you want. There is only one optional (albeit very useful) item that requires you to have a certain number of hearts and I think temporary hearts don't work. However you only need 23 heart containers to max your hearts and 20 stamina upgrades to max your stamina. If you complete all the shrines you get a total of 40 upgrades, so you can either go full stamina and miss 3 hearts, or go full hearts and miss 3/5 of a stamina bar. Also remember that stamina upgrades are permanent, while food is temporary. If you don't upgrade your stamina you will need food for any climb larger than the tree just outside the shrine of resurrection.
Lazy Blue Shell Thx, that was very helpful, I think I will go for close to full hearts and full stamina or close to full stamina and full hearts, perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got 2 heart containers so far, next upgrade I get, I will get stamina.
That's not true, each Stamina Vessel gives you 1/5 of a Stamina Wheel, and the maximum amount of Stamina Wheels is 3, so you can add 2. That makes for 10 Stamina upgrades in total. There are 120 shrines, so you can get 10 Stamina upgrades + 20 Heart upgrades from them, adding the 4 Hearts from the dungeon bosses and the 3 Hearts you start with, you get 27 Hearts and 3 Stamina Wheels. Or you go for 30 Hearts and 2,4 Stamina Wheels. Stamina is more useful than Hearts though, since you can upgrade your armor quite significantly. Running out of Hearts has never been a problem for me in the lategame, though.
I do the opposite. For me it's much easier to get the necessary ingredients for boosting hearts, so I use spirit orbs for stamina. Plus, with all the defense stuff, I rarely need a ton of hearts, but stamina is amazing for things like slowing down time while aiming.
juan mendez blood moons can also spawn to fix a glitch, because they reset items. So there's a possibility that something was glitching out on you and the game was trying to fix it.
@@vriskaserket1922 twice when i was nearby the colosseum, i've had glitch moons in the middle of the day. i've only ever had them when near the colosseum though

creamy heart soup is good if you have a lot of hearts already. its hydromelon, volt fruit, hearty radish, and fresh milk. its not a full restore but its one of my favs.
A couple things worth mentioning - the endura carrots can also be fed to your horse (if you have one) to give you 3 extra spurs. This is in addition to what you already have i.e a mount with 4 spurs becomes a mount with 7 spurs. Also, if you throw a dragon horn (obtained from the 3 giant dragons you see flying around sometimes) into the cooking mix, it makes the duration a very nice 30 minutes, which is extremely handy.
i use five hearty durians for extra hearts because they're easy to find (on the cliff right next to faron tower where the two lizalfos are) and you can make about five meals that max out your hearts every blood moon
I love mushrooms! (In botw) You can make small snacks when you're low on hearts, a good mighty skewer to boost up your fighting, a skewer that gives you better defense, more stamina, even MORE stamina, and more! By the way, what everyone should know, the basics of cooking are down below. (No elixrs, sorry im not good at that) Hylianshroom: Plain old hearts Ironshroom: Defense up Razorshroom: Electricity resistance Rushroom: Quicker Sunshroom: Cold resistance Chillshroom: Heat resistance Stamellashroom: Stamina refill Endurashroom: Stamina refill + temporary stamina (I wonder if there's a Heartyshroom? I hope!) Hearty Radish/Big Hearty radish (Durians and Truffles will do, but they aren't as powerful): Heart refill + temporary hearts That's pretty much it! By the way, the Link Rider amiibo provides mushrooms, arrows, weapons, and saddles/bridles, so that's the only one I really have/need. Hope this was helpful. Tell me if you have other great & easy recipes. P.S. I heard that apparently there's a secret recipe on each stable wall??? Does anyone know if that's right?
I would love a video on elixirs because while I generally don’t use them, I love having knowledge on stuff, and it never hurts to have more. Also, what else am I going to use all of those restless crickets for?
Ok, there is a way to get a half hour attack boost, defense boost, electrical, heat, and cold Resistance. You need 2 mushrooms, 2 fruits and Monster Extract. Just in case you’re confused about how general I am about fruits and mushrooms, they need to be your desirable result. Also it will give you max level. But based on my experience it only happened 80% of the time, plus it’s easier to farm horn shards for elixers

Lol the sound effect for critical cooking that you played is definitely not the part that is different. It's during the cooking process that the music is different.
Plus link jumping in the air and punching upwards
This TH-camr will never stop making videos because legends never die
Dragon horns makes effects last 30 minutes. Might want to toss that one in.
Why waste dragon parts? You enhance armor with them.
@@xaxas654 Can't enhance armor if you've maxed it all out.
@@xaxas654 "waste," heh. You can get 3 per minute.
I was just about to take a screenshot when an ad came Up so I ended up with a screenshot of “stack jump” 😂
You forgot about an awful lot of ingredients... Swift violets and carrots in your speed-boosting section, for starters.
I got a gigantic speaker in my room at my dads so I hear bokoblins screaming
bokoblins make the best noises
Add a dragon horn to any dish and get 30:00 on any buff.
(I think. I dont know if it works only for certain dishes)
Can you post your tables?

You're not a joke to anybody probably.
I just love when I make foods that have that' sweet ziylaphone (however the hell you spell it) solo the end

Austin John I subbed!
Thanks for the help man. Truly appreciate it
Hint: if you want food, got to the ocean town at the bottom right of the map. They have TONS of porgies and crabs
For temporary hearts, you only need to use one hearty item since it will always give you max hp, and you can make more of them if you use one per recipe.
Heads up: it's called STAminoka Bass, not Saminoka. As in STAmina.

Unless you have DLC
I do the opposite. For me it's much easier to get the necessary ingredients for boosting hearts, so I use spirit orbs for stamina. Plus, with all the defense stuff, I rarely need a ton of hearts, but stamina is amazing for things like slowing down time while aiming.
how is it that a blood moon is supossed to happen every 8 days but i gotten 4 consecutive blood moons , one of them was at 6 Am WTF?!
juan mendez blood moons can also spawn to fix a glitch, because they reset items. So there's a possibility that something was glitching out on you and the game was trying to fix it.
I also heard if your game gets to 90% ram the game forces a blood moon no matter the time of day.
@@vriskaserket1922 twice when i was nearby the colosseum, i've had glitch moons in the middle of the day. i've only ever had them when near the colosseum though
My favorite single item to cook for energy is the Hearty Truffles (both types). Just one gives you full energy, plus some additional hearts.
Nice
AJP: Only fleet lotus seeds and rushrooms give speed boost.
Guy in Kakariko Village: The Legendary hero practiced with SWIFT CARROTS.
Shopkeeper in Zora’s Domain: SWIFT VIOLETS
I agree with the cook book. Like, and automatic tracker of what you’ve already cooked haha!
creamy heart soup is good if you have a lot of hearts already. its hydromelon, volt fruit, hearty radish, and fresh milk. its not a full restore but its one of my favs.
Hey thanks for doing all that editing I shows you really care for your fans
Thanks this helped a lot when i was gearing up for the dlc boss
i use five hearty durians for extra hearts because they're easy to find (on the cliff right next to faron tower where the two lizalfos are) and you can make about five meals that max out your hearts every blood moon
I love mushrooms! (In botw) You can make small snacks when you're low on hearts, a good mighty skewer to boost up your fighting, a skewer that gives you better defense, more stamina, even MORE stamina, and more! By the way, what everyone should know, the basics of cooking are down below. (No elixrs, sorry im not good at that)
Hylianshroom: Plain old hearts
Ironshroom: Defense up
Razorshroom: Electricity resistance
Rushroom: Quicker
Sunshroom: Cold resistance
Chillshroom: Heat resistance
Stamellashroom: Stamina refill
Endurashroom: Stamina refill + temporary stamina
(I wonder if there's a Heartyshroom? I hope!)
Hearty Radish/Big Hearty radish (Durians and Truffles will do, but they aren't as powerful): Heart refill + temporary hearts
That's pretty much it!
There's a poster on the stable walls that shows recipes. They don't always give stat boosts, but they're fun to make.
Decided to boot up botw and started master mode and this video came in clutch special when running through in master mode 👍🏽
OMG! This is frickin amazing!!! Thank you SO much!!!! I just started playing & I'm always running out of stamina. 🙄 You're a life saver!
I would love a video on elixirs because while I generally don’t use them, I love having knowledge on stuff, and it never hurts to have more. Also, what else am I going to use all of those restless crickets for?
My best 5 durian fruits. Full health plus additional 20 temporary hearts.
That's what I needed. Thanks brother. ❤
Me and my son loved the video. Thanks for the info.
I made all the charts listed in this video, thanks!
Thanks man for all your work in this
Thanks for this. You can also get endura carrots at the fairy fountain near Tarrey Town.
I love these btofw recipes thanks Austin john plays
Ok, there is a way to get a half hour attack boost, defense boost, electrical, heat, and cold Resistance. You need 2 mushrooms, 2 fruits and Monster Extract. Just in case you’re confused about how general I am about fruits and mushrooms, they need to be your desirable result. Also it will give you max level. But based on my experience it only happened 80% of the time, plus it’s easier to farm horn shards for elixers
