If i ruled the world ALL fuzzes would have a clean blend, opens it up to; down tuners, bassists, keyboard players, even vocalists..... just so much versatility added by one control. different instruments have different output impedance so a guitar/bass is different to a mic , is different to a keyboard. They've basically really thought about making it available to all instrument types, and earned a great deal of my respect in the process.
The blend is the bomb if you stack with good crunch sounds, - NSM clean~clean. Outstanding base sound. The posit 3 with the scoop is where you mix in a dirty mid push, like a cranked up Plumes. Just a ton of great Fuzzes kicking around,- this might go on the list, somewhere after the Lollygagger Cherrybox; @ this stage, it's got to be one special, interesting mofo to make that list.Even more so if it's over $200. After listening to your Fuzz demos, I always get a hankering for some Link Wray, - who might not have often used Fuzz pedals,~ but sure as hell sounded like he did.
Impedance is very important w unbuffered transistor fuzzes, where the guitar straight in has a lot of interaction w how the fuzz responds just by moving the V and T controls due to the GE or SI transistors being naturally medium to low Z depending on circuit design. The Impedance control either mimics that or is actually a passive pot before, at the input.
The channel for the rest of us, Ryan Humone of the San Diego Humones. Just beating on us brats with spaceball bats. I really dug the video on the Bloodbuzz awhile back and this didn't disappoint, either-- but check out the Bloodbuzz video-- intergalactic mindfuckery at its finest.
Awesome SG color! When did Gibson offer that metallic surf green? They should reissue it and maybe cut down on the multiple varieties of bursts that are all essentially the same.
I have no idea which fuzz to get. I’m going to need one to reproduce some things I’ve done in the studio with my Boss GT-1, when/if I play another show. I’ll probably end-up with a big muff, but there are tons of cool fuzz pedals.
Hey Ryan, Just got my Gretsch Baritone (through your last video's sweetwater link). What size/brand strings are you using (or did they come with)? thanks as always. Enjoy the weekend.
Ryan, i wanna get into fuzz but got no idea where to start. There a "budget" fuzz pedal you recommend getting for people who dont know the first thing about fuzz and are looking to get into it?
Fat, spitty, and farty. Mildly annoying, but tolerable in pets and humans, but most desirable in fuzz tones! ;) Valco?, YES!!! Have an ever growing collection of vintage Airline, Custom Kraft, Supro, and Tonemaster guitars. This would bring out the best things about Valco pups through vintage tube amps. Getting them dirty is what makes 'em shine. ;P

Ryan, that fuzz pedal would sound great coupled to the rotary speaker pedal

That sounds awesome! I'd love to hear what it sounds like with a bass!
24:17 That is some top pianisting right there!

"Just say no. Just say no." I must chant it after just purchasing the Keeley Fuzz Bender and the Catalinbread Giygas. But man that sounds fun.
Cheese sandwich, juice pack, Ding Dong, and a Slim Jim. Going to be a long set. Sounds good too.
all of dis an a bag of chipssssss

That opening piece sounded like it was played through a SID chip, not an amp. 8-bit awesome.

The real question is: what IS that explorer/gretsch mashup guitar!?!
Yes!😆👍
Cool psychedelic jam!

Look at jptr effects from Germany. Or Big knob from England
I want to play the Roobarb theme through that.
Wow.

Sounds like shit in the best way possible! I love it!
I felt the Bloodbuzz was a huge miss but this pedal friggen rules.
Hello Ryan from Russia with love, do you have a review on fuzz pedal from old blood noise endeavors???
What to do with all the empty space inside: th-cam.com/video/CKOc6hXMDhc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=qdT66bopqRKlAXZq
Ryan, i wanna get into fuzz but got no idea where to start. There a "budget" fuzz pedal you recommend getting for people who dont know the first thing about fuzz and are looking to get into it?
probably start with a cheap muff clone and then go from there. watch some of my afford-a-board videos
Great channel but has it been pointed out that Ryan looks like a Bobs burger character? Lol
Your Fuzz pedal looks a soldering iron.
What's that explorer style guitar? 😯 I never knew a guitar like that existed but now I do I need it in my life 😂
its a parts guitar I put together like 15 years ago.
@@60CycleHumcast just been back and watched your video on it. Really like it!
Can it Neil Young though?

I can put my weed in it
Impedance = Resistance
Impedance is futile?
When you go to NAMM best stop by Culver's, still debating if I will go , 50 bucks for students 🎸🥤🍔
I miss Culver’s
Need a butter burger and a pork chop Sammy
I don't know why they never show the bottom of the pedal (on the pedal website) like it's forbidden, private parts 🤣🤷♂️
My weed of course
Great for technological farts
Dude.
...Dude.
You don't have a bass?😕
Mean and nasty comment.
The literal. I like it. Goodnight, Gracie.
