I think the gentleman was inaccurately referring to this ayat:
2:223 - "Your wives are a place of cultivation [i.e., sowing of seed] for you, so come to your place of cultivation however you wish and put forth [righteousness] for yourselves. And fear Allāh and know that you will meet Him. And give good tidings to the believers."
also translated "Your wives are like farmland for you,1 so approach them ˹consensually˺ as you please." or "Your wives are your fields, so go into your fields whichever way you like"
etc... It just seems like a misunderstanding from this very kind man.

I used to be catholic. Both my parents families are catholic. I never believed Jesus is God. I never believed Mary is the mother of God. I spoke words of catholic prayers that were void of my heart. But as a child, I would pray when other children were playing. I would pray for my parents, because they separated. In those moments, i would go to my room in seclusion and in secret, and I would pray to the One True God. And it was only in those prayers, that my heart was truly in it. I firmly believe that this is one of the primary reasons, Allah guided me to Islam. That I never ever partnered Jesus, or Mary or the Holy Spirit with Him SWT. Alhamdulillah for Islam. Alhamdulillah for beautiful Da'is like brother Muhammed Ali and Muslim Lantern. May Allah reward him and his team many times over for the good work they do. And may Allah guide the uncle here to Islam before his death.

I was born into a Buddhist family and the teachings and principles to control your mind and understand your a product of your environment was so valuable. I went to a catholic school and I can’t remember one person practicing the faith there was no conviction . When I found Islam the only practicing God fearing religion , the spiritual calling to connect with your creator 5 times a day and be accountable for everything you say , do and think is truly the truth . Alhamdulillah my brothers and sisters may Allah make it easy for us 🤲🏼

18.) Allah said, “Get out of Paradise! You are disgraced and rejected! I will certainly fill up Hell with you and your followers all together.”

27.) O children of Adam! Do not let Satan deceive you as he tempted your parents (Adam & Eve) out of Paradise and caused their cover to be removed in order to expose their nakedness. Surely he (Satan) and his soldiers watch you from where you cannot see them. We have made the devils allies of those who disbelieve.

It’s human to feel like a traitor to your own soul by rejecting previous faith and adopting a new one. But it is also being a traitor to your own souls when you see the truth and reject it.

@@mujibultanim u have to come to livestream. It usually on Saturday or Sunday around 7-8pm uk time. And its a non muslim q&a so he doesn't put whole non muslim q&a on channel. But Muslim q&a u can find in the playlist. But for non muslim q&a u have to come to livestream or u can wait so he uploads but he doesn't upload everything so u better come watch livestream.

The fact that the gentleman acknowledged brother Muhammad's answers and and said that brother Ali has a good grasps on history shows that he's also quite intelectual to know it himself. And also the fact that he acknowledged he should do more homework prior to this stream, shows that brother Ali's message really did cross his mind and made good points. May Allah guided him and gives him hidayah.

I'd love to speak to gentlemen like the person on the left. His mastery of language and his manners are something I think is slowly being lost on the newer generations.
One of my fears is having a language I know change so much and lose alot of its charm & structure, leading to a decline in self expression and comprehension.(which is currently happening to English due to its international status and fame causing kids and teens to change and influence each other to the point of turning the language into jokes and made-up terms, and a steady decline in expression which is evident by comparing old videos of the 50s,60s,70s,80s & 90s to today in terms of speech and its sophistication.)

I like the fact that he said he met Moroccan AND Egyptian people and that he learned about Islam from them ❤
This gentleman is more learned and intelligent than any priest or Christian scholar i have seen debating with any Muslim. Sadly the fact remains that he is confused as his religion teaches him to put aside his rational faculty and simply turn to tradition and to that which he was subjected to as a child. He is holding on that it with dear life because he tings that betraying his tradition would be to betray everything he holds dear.
I pray and believe that he will inshallah, Godwilling one day come to the truth because he is sincere and because he is curious.
He He does come to the Truth, he will realise that the Truth has not taken him away from all that he holds dear but made him a better human being, a better relative, a better Englishman or Scotsman (whatever he may be) and a better and proper follower of Jesus - may peace be upon him.

i didn't consider myself a muslim even though I believed in tawhid, because i thought you had to do the 5 daily prayers which i still didn't learn yet and complete ramadan which i didn't do yet. but when I went to the mosque a brother there said that all i needed to do was say the shahada, which i told him i already said to myself and he said mashallah and then i did shahada in front of the whole mosque.
2nd pillar is prayer, you gotta learn. Ask the brother at the mosque to teach you
@@Schrodinger-pk5ws i did learn the prayers at the start of ramadan and i memorized some surahs. they gave me a prayer rug and some books, i do the 5 daily prayers now and go to every friday jummah.
