So, out of curiosity, I went back to some of my old archives so see how I initially felt about this boss. A lot of my opinions still ring true. This boss is pretty lame. There's always BS on the screen. It fills the air and the ground and makes it extremely hard to concentrate on what the boss is doing. Not only that, but you can die at a moment's notice due to the absurd damage the physical attacks do (The biggest offender being the double stomp move. It will just delete you and the hitbox is ridiculous.). The boss's hurtbox itself is also constructed entirely with memes.
There's also another extremely important thing to mention about this fight, and that's the two crystals. Leave them alone, and they'll deliver buffs to the boss, eventually culminating into a giant nuke that will outright kill you. There's no way to really know this either unless you just decide to damage them. Or have played God Eater before, I guess. I haven't.
It just all results in a really frustrating experience and it's crazy to think they charged extra money for it.
Then you start using Dancing Fireblade and become the storm that is approaching. Provoking black clouds in isolation.
This Gift is so stupid. Watch it go. It turns the crystals into icy doodoo and clips the Empress's kneecaps like a legion of Razor scooters.
Anyways, my gameplan became playing extremely passively and letting the blender do its work. I can't wait to watch Dancing Fireblade win the rest of the game for me.
Dancing Fireblade tripled my tax return and saved my marriage.

You should! It's definitely a solid game. Minus a few stinky bosses (the worst of which are skippable), the game has plenty of good things going for it.

From what I've seen, it has a small but dedicated fan base
They added these unbalanced fights with good rewards in dlc so that people buy the dlc. Quite scumy if you ask me. Anyway good job
