Cancun Wing Foil Dec 23

Cancun Dec 2023 - Learning to wing foil. We brought our own wing foil gear and also rented the Cabrinha Code 130 liter board with 2100 cm foil and 114 liter board with 1650 cm foil.
Our gear:
Boards - Naish Hover inflatable 130 liter.
Foils - Gong Fluid 1750 cm2 and Naish Jet 2000 cm2 and 1650 cm2
Masts - Gong 85 cm and Naish 75 cm
Wings - 2023 Gong Plus 4 and 6 meter, Naish S27 Wingsurfer Mk 4, 4 m and 6 meter.
The Gong Plus wings have much more forward pull, while the Naish had a lot more back hand pressure. We both liked the Gong's better for learning. But maybe with more experience the Naish might good too.
The water in front of the condo was plenty deep, but in the bay it was too shallow for the 85 cm mast. The 75 cm worked Ok. The Code rental boards had 60 or 65 cm masts which were great.
