Just wanted to say thank you for all the incredible comments. Even though we can’t reply to all have them, we have read (and will keep reading) every single comment!
I have watched every episode multiple times (not because I'm a weird stalker) my wife knows now that when I say MCM have dropped the Christmas feature, or any vid.... The earphones go in and I'm gone.
Cheers, what a great film. I personally think FDs are in the top 3 best looking car ever produced, even though I think rotaries are pointless and inferior engines, it doesn't take anything away from the FD being so stunning overall.
In this youtubeverse.. we have you guys.. that don't chase fame or money, just two guys that goes where the passion is. Thank you for the good content in the last +10 years. Much love!
Yeah - I'm really impressed in 10 years they haven't really sold out or got to corporate. They have a few sponsor ships which are just low key. Still enjoying the content all these years later.
Agree with this in all its glory. Been watching these two since the start and it's just always been passion. You just feel the raw love in every second.
Honestly the best thing about MCM (and the fact they are Australian) is that their feature videos like these are so relaxing and calming - immersing you into their journey. Their general Aussie way of speak is chill and so laid back. While some other channels, which are good in their own right, but in my opinion I feel as if they are screaming or yelling at you - or just have unnecessary drama/music that kills the vibe - i feel rushed and riled up more than anything lol.
The interview with Yamamoto san is absolutely wonderful. His passion and understanding of the joy of feelings that cars can present to you comes through despite the language barrier. His description of the mx5 being for driving with a smile and the mx7 being for driving fast seriously makes so much sense, better than any car journalist could ever explain. Thanks again MCM for another excellent end to the year. Brilliant.

This production definitely deserved the Turbos & Temples title. Such incredible work. You really outdid yourselves. Thank you for dropping it when you did. It served its purpose thoroughly.
Ahh the Dream car that I owned, blew up, almost bankrupt me and had to let go..😅😭 Still hopeful I'll get another FD someday, bought mine for $10k in 2009 lol. May take a while to save up and get another one with the prices these days but thanks for sharing your journey getting one.
The shots of the RX-7 in front of the temple are really something else. Really evokes a lot of emotions. Fond memories also of visiting Hiroshima where my NC2 MX5 was born. Unfortunately I could not take my car there. Maybe one day I can drive one across Japan for a similar trip though.
I love the fact that you two highlight and respect that Japanese culture. Japan is already a bucketlist destination for me and you've definitely made me want to go more. I hope you guys can continues to make this content and enjoy your successes abroad. Kudo's on a dope cultural video
That was just... *chef's kiss* The cars, the scenery, the banter, the music, the cinematography, just perfection! Thanks for making us dream and enjoy this trip for over an hour, happy holidays to all!
I love these. Please keep doing them. Everything is non-stop entertainment. I will probably never be able to afford a trip to Japan myself so these are about as closes as I will come & also just how I'd expect a trip to be. Good times, great people, awesome car culture.
No, you can`t think about not going. You`ve got to think about it, you`ve got to eat sleep and go to work thinking about it. You have to dream about the dream itself ! Dreams are what makes us excel, it`s what pushes us to do better every fucking day so that one day we can say the dream is no more when we turn it into reality. So everytime you fall down, dream a little, cinch your saddle up and get back on, life`s a heck of a rodeo !
A decade plus I’ve been watching this channel. And not a video goes by that doesn’t fill me with emotion. The passion and enjoyment these guys get from the mundane jobs of maintenance, to the extraordinary travels they share with us. Inspirational is a gross understatement
There simply aren't words to describe this film. Most of us won't experience such things but watching this is an amazing insight to what we're missing but above all expressing the passion and culture of car enthusiasts. Job well done, bravo
It baffles me that this channel doesn't have 10 million plus subscribers. Everything is perfect in every video that ive watched. Video editing is perfect, music is perfect, the boys feel like someone you've known for years and super funny. I mean wtf youtube this channel is an absolute treasure, promote its videos to trending.
The video is a little too long for me, but I made it to the end, because you guys are too cool to ignore, so well done guys, and you have my subscription. 😄👍👋
Every time a special ends, I feel like its one of those old Top Gear emotional goodbyes. I think the nostalgic feeling comes from seeing two friends just having such a blast; and having followed you guys for years and years, seeing that after having so many projects, cars, followers, sponsors, you always come back to basics to make specials that hit you in the feels. Thanks, happy Christmas, and see you guys next year, as always :D Arigato gozaimazu! 🙇
What an incredible piece of art this film was. Thank you guys for all the love, laughs, and entertainment over the years. Happy new year from florida in the USA. Love you guys
You guys have no idea how much your content has influenced my life, the decisions I have made and who I have become. Even though I am far away from Australia, Japan and the cars you show and love, I look up to how you look at the world and the people in it. Thank you for all the years of making the world a friendly place. Cheers from Germany.
So sad about you being refused at the banana love hotel. I'm glad you found a way to include it in the film. Sometimes it helps to be reminded that not all of the grass is greener. Thanks for T&T 3!
You guy continue to set the bar for not only car content but content in general. It's so clear how much love you guys have for the craft and for the cars and to keep putting out such good content after so long on this site is amazing. This was no different, such a special film to convey the love we all have for car culture. Also buying an FD in Japan is like every car fan's wet dream so this was super awesome lol. Please never stop!
This was a really special one to watch, not only because you got an FD on this trip, but because you guys drove it to it's birth place! As a fellow FD owner (was my first car), this made me so happy to watch haha. Also being 6ft6, I don't know how I fit into the FD either honestly. Great video gents! I can't wait to visit Japan for the first time this January!
Awesome christmas present! Love seeing you guys in adventure in Japan. I just want to express my gratitude for all the high quality content that you upload. Not only this film, but all your videos! Merry christmas from Denmark
As soon as I seen it was an FD, I felt so happy for Marty! I was instantly reminded of you two talking about the best car to tour Japan with, R43 GTR and FD RX-7. That was such an emotional journey! Such a good feature film yet again. Thank you guys for the amazing videos. Much love.
Thanks not only to Marty and Moog but to the crew behind the boys.. yeah it's pretty simple in a shed with 2 mates but this is just on another level. As an og fan I couldn't help but feel starting this that it always had to be one of these and omg thank you boys... These were what made me fall in love with the whole Jap spec scene. It's not an easy time for a lot of us, myself included but over the years these videos have been a highlight of a few lonely Christmas days. Thank you again and as shit as the day is you are not alone... Merry Christmas and lots of love

Y’all never fail to bring in the smiles and laughter…..
Bukkake your potato!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
This production definitely deserved the Turbos & Temples title. Such incredible work. You really outdid yourselves. Thank you for dropping it when you did. It served its purpose thoroughly.
Back to You and Me was possibly one of the smoothest hip hop tracks ive heard in years. what an amazing film mall around.
Merry Christmas, boys. I'm anticipating your special tomorrow. Here's hoping I'll be able to watch next year's, too.
This is a beautiful content, from the intro to the music to everything. I hope that you guys receive all the views and repercussion that it deserves!
Moog is a world class musician and the music really is the icing on the cake.
*chef's kiss*
The cars, the scenery, the banter, the music, the cinematography, just perfection!
Thanks for making us dream and enjoy this trip for over an hour, happy holidays to all!
100%
It's actually not as expensive as you would think. Currently live there
I needed this, thanks guys. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and new years.
Almost 12 years later, and here we are! Nothing but love and good vibes! Happy holidays!
Every damn time.
26b LeMans race motor had three spark plugs per rotor and variable length intake runners. It was detuned for durability to 700hp from 900hp N.A.
Aftermarket quad rotors aren't the same as the 26b.
Awesome footage of mazdas in Japan. I didn't know how bad I wanted this.
38:28 my man is admiring the rx7 as he should, such a beautifully made car
Damn didn't expect an rx7! Love it!
the last one they mentioned wanting to return and buy a RX7 and R34. but i honestly expected the R34 first. either way really enjoyed the special
@@michaelm5203 R34 is like hypercar expensive right now, how sure how fiscally possible it is or isn't for them. I recall a year or so ago they mentioned that they likely would never be able to get one once the prices started shooting to the moon.
Absolutely amazing guys. The fact you can do this without funding/sponsorships is crazy. You guys should have waaay more subscribers with this level of content! Big thanks and merry christmas guys! 🎄
Wow!!! ❤❤❤ thank you guys so much. You truly don’t understand how many lives you guys touch. Keep killing it and can’t wait for the rx7 vids!
As a Japanese car enthusiast I really want to thank you guys for making me realize how many great things there are in Japan and the fact that people all over the world enjoys it.
Thank you thank you thank you.
It's here..... stop everything and watch. Great cinematic shots as always.
Love the moments of contemplation and the genuine friendship shown. Keep the videos coming
Thank you MCM and crew for this Film and Thank so much for you for your Christmas Message!
Absolutely awesome!! Sat here at the end with a big smile, what a journey! You guys never disappoint. Great job!! Now I hope you get som well deserved rest over the holidays. Can't wait to see what you give us in 2023!
Nicely done fellas. Absolutely loved this! Thanks for taking us along on the journey, the next best thing to being there 👌
Thank you guys for giving me an hour away from everything. this year has been hell to say the least. the fact that I am alive is astonishing. To keep details to a minimum I have been fighting money issues mental and physical health as well as family issues and just really having no drive or will to keep moving forward. Having this was such a nice to escape as well as all your other videos. This series always makes me remember that I cant leave this earth with out visiting japan. the cars the culture the history everything about it is something I have to experience my self one day. Thank you guys so much for helping give me a escape for a lil while and a reminder to keep moving forward and to keep fighting my struggles
Let's go boys! it's that time of the year again... Turbos & Temples!
It is 5am in the UK, christmas morning, and me watching this masterpiece alone in a sitting room while everyone is still asleep just hits differently. Thank you, MCM.
Amazing, really well made, thank you for all the hard work
As someone who does nothing at Christmas this is my favorite thing to look forward to. Thank you.
1:20:07 love it waited for this for so long another great one lads made Christmas Eve a great night LOTS OF LOVE FROM IRELAND 🇮🇪
Man, listen. after crashing my miata and it being totaled. To my jeep breaking down completely in -30+ weather here in Montana, it's been hard to crack a smile. But as soon I saw this pop up in my feed I knew my day was going to be better. You guys make amazing and inspiring content. Tanks for making my day a little bit better guys! Zoom Zoom! 🙌🙌
This is probably the best car-guy video I’ve ever seen. I’m not even a Mazda fan. The planning and coordination this took followed by execution & finished “product” is incredible.
Thank you guys for this beautiful Christmas present, I honestly admire all of you, I strive to be as talented as you guys are. I'm not Japanese but I think locals apreciate the fact you gave their temple some attention.
As an American, seeing the peace park on video and reflecting on what that means between our country's shared histories was incredibly moving. I hope to one day see it in person. Great film as always an thanks for touching me in a way I didn't expect today.
The guy in the background whilst you guys were chatting with the Mazda engineer made me chuckle he was admiring the rx7
Ive watched T&T 1,2&3 again today - im stuck at home feeling unwell. What a great way to show your progress as filmmakers, presenters & overall top blokes. The music and camera work sets you apart from all others
Thanks for helping me get through another year boys. Merry Christmas.✌️❤
This was amazing, I spend all year looking forward to your feature films, and this did not disappoint one bit. The cars, the filmography, the MUSIC! All incredible! Thank you for all you guys do I have been watching for over a decade. And I never tire of your work! Please don't ever stop!
That's a gorgeous FD! Thanks for taking as along.
This will be the highlight of my day. Cheers guys. Love you both.
I know it's been said but you guys are absolutely maaaad! The amount of emotion and passion you evoke from the stories you tell, visuals you produce and the music you create is immense and is something else. Words struggle to describe the feels one gets watching this. So glad you guys had fun and here's to another beautiful year for the MCM crew
This is an EPIC part 3 to say the least! I loved every bit of it and cannot wait to see what will be your next project!!!!!
Keep up the good work guys and perhaps someday we will meet in person😎😎✌✌✌✌🤘🤘🤘🤘
Can't wait for this year's feature film! Love watching on Christmas Eve here in America. Always gets me pumped for the year to come.
Well done. The end is beautiful. Best monolog of the year for sure. Love and praise. You keep hope and real alive
Been waiting for this! This is the inspiration for every car channel in the world no doubt! You guys set the route for the automotive content! Can not wait to get home ans watch this with no stops!
I don’t comment on videos ever but this is astonishing. I’ve been a fan since day one and every short film mcm has put out I have gotten the chills from. The quality and time they spend to put out good videos is breathtaking and I want to say thank you for all the good times over the years. It’s my dream to meet them and work on some nuggets . Mcm forever ❤️✌🏻✌🏻
Thank u for taking us to the Memorial to pay our respects. Speaking for those of us who don’t have the means to travel to such sights.
I hope you get to read this guys but thank you for filming and doing this. Its a life long dream of mine to go and do exactly what you have done here! I probably will never be able to do this but at least i get to watch and really enjoy this film you made! A massive heartfelt thank you!
Bump.🚗
You guys have come such a long way from the beginning of all of this. You should be very proud of yourselves. I don't now how many people felt this, but the ending sent a chill through my whole body. Awesome work boys, looking forward to next year.
I've been waiting forever for you guys to get into Rotarys. This was amazing 👏 and well worth the wait. Speaking from experience don't ever sell a Rotary, because it becomes part of your soul and will be forever missed.
From watching them teach me how to install aftermarket radios, to watching them show me all of Japan multiple times. Thank you so much.
Absolutely amazing film. Been looking forward to it for ages and didn't disappoint at all! Thanks guys for continuing to make such awesome films, and for inspiring us all along the way ❤️
Thank you guys for all the motivation over the years to stop watching TH-cam and go into the freezing garage and get my car ready for the joy of summer time!
Loved the movie! Merry Christmas!
