I bought both samples about a year ago and right away wrote off the Edp because patchouli just usually doesn't work for me in most perfumes.I gave that sample away. I saved the absolu sample because it intrigued me when I first sampled it and I revisited it recently. I instantly loved it when I smelled it the second time so I found a bottle on mercari. I haven't worn it out yet because it's a new type of scent for me but I really like it. It's interesting, yet clean, and has a sophistication in a free spirited kind of way. Nice reviews!!
Your right both of these perfumes are really strong which I love because I hate to reapply my perfume but the Absolu is my favorite because it’s more sweeter it took me a minute to get use to the oak moss but I love it now I have a bottle on the way
I'm a guy and I love the edp. I tried lots of mens fragrances and I find them too fresh and shower gelly. This will probably be my signature scent. I might try the absolu next
That's really interesting, on me they're honestly too strong. Is it possible you're anosmic to it? That's happened to me with some perfumes others have described as strong, like Viktor & Rolf BonBon.
Right now I have decants of the original EDP and the Absolue. I really like both of them, but I think I prefer the Absolue more. It reminds me of some sort of enchanted forest, but in the best possible way. Also, do you have a PO Box where I could send you some samples?

I actually just got to smell the EDT out of the bottle yesterday and thought it was very similar to the EDP, it packed the same punch for sure. I didn't get it on my skin, though, so maybe it would develop differently.
Okay... between the two...which one would smell more like being in a frosted evergreen enchanted forest....with a slight tickled chill in the air...in the warm arms of.... Edward Cullen 😁✨
They are both beast mode perfumes, they really stick with you, the Absolu version just has a less oakmossy smell to it in my opinion. Thanks for asking!
Your reviews have such a lovely and educational character. But I have a question here. So... I've tested a LOT and I want something woody and musky and warm slightly sweet and special, little grassy - mossy notes maybe. So, I've ended up on: Chloe: Nomade Absolu and Gucci: Memoire d'eun odeur. But I haven't seen anywhere in your channel mentioning the Gucci one and I REALLY want your opinion on which one should I invest in. I know you know about unique scents, so your opinion on this would be great! 🤍
Thank you Emma! I do agree that Chloe Nomade Absolu fits the bill for what you're looking for. I've smelled Gucci Memoire d'Une Odeur and it it smells like hay with some herbs on me. I interpreted it as a fascinating concept but now what I actually want to smell like. Nomade Absolu is much more complex and classy in my opinion. These rank higher on the sweet spectrum but you may also like Michael Kors Twilight Shimmer or Lancome La Nuit Tresor A La Folie. If you don't mind a more unisex approach then Chanel Coromandel would be great, to me it smells like boozy woods, soft musk and cinnamon.

I personally get a tonnnn of peach from the EDP but find it still really balanced and sophisticated
This is one I SO want to love, it's just too perfumey on me. So jealous you get more from it than I do!

I sprayed an entire 8ml decant in one day and barely smell it! Amazing. To my nose this is faint, barely there! Wow!

I wouldn't say it's musky, its has a powerful oakmoss and general "perfumey" smell to it

Nomade is not one of my favorites at all. The smell was too strong and had a funny spicy note that stood out on me.
