Thanks for the update on the vegetation. Pecan trees will be beautiful along the edge of the pond.

The years will bring some good changes to the area, I'm sure of it. Thanks for watching as always.

for the salt, fungus can neutralize it if there is enough organic matter
the bees you can put a watering place for them with little rocks so they don't drown you can search 'bee water station'
now you need to start working on the fence for the mule-deer then hehehe

Thanks for watching as always. Yes, there is always a hundred other things I could be working on at the ranch. If I live long enough, I will get to all of them with time.

Yes, the bees definitely appreciate all the work I have done for water retention. Thanks for following along with the project as always.

I always love when you take video of the pond and surrounding terrain / mountains. Keep up the good work. SIDE NOTE : Your LIKES is disabled again. Just giving you a heads up.

I could spend the day just watching what comes in and out around the pond. Of course, that would not be very productive but enjoyable. It's odd that it's showing that on your view of the video. On my view it shows 67 likes so far. I'll look at the settings, but I think it is already on for most people. Maybe there is a glitch with youtube right now. Thanks for following along with the project as always.

@@TimelineRanch i also cannot see number of likes. See buttons, but not number of people liked the video.

@rm6857 Thanks for letting me know about the issue with youtube. The settings are on for that feature to work on my end. It's a glitch with their app. Currently, the video shows 108 likes. Hopefully, they will fix it shortly. Thanks for watching the project as always.

@@TimelineRanch If you chave checked the checkbox to show likes ON, then its yt glitch. Other your videos are fine, just this one.

@rm6857 Yes, I checked it about 18 hours ago when @Mylifeofstones made me aware of it. Thanks again for letting me know it still hasn't been fixed yet.

I don't blame them for wanting something a little better to eat around the area. A good fence is a must-have for a garden, though. Thanks for watching the project as always.

Once you finish installing the berm at the fork in the road, the grass will grow better. The lake in the desert looks like a miracle 👍

Thanks for following along with the ranch build as always. I have a bunch of other areas to put time into building water retention structures. I am looking forward to seeing the difference it'll make over the years. The pond is the start of the Timeline Oasis. A beautiful sight in the Chihuahuan desert for sure.

Good morning. Thank you for the tour of the pond area. I think some pecan trees would be an awesome idea. Great. Now I want some cantaloupe 😂🎉 Hope you have yourself a wonderful weekend. 7:33

Thanks for watching the project. I'm glad to share what's going on around the ranch. Yes, I'm a big fan of cantaloupe myself. I hope your weekend will be wonderful as well.

Tried getting myself a backhoe after watching your videos. Didn't have a big enough truck or trailer. Getting a Ford 8N today for tilling, drilling post holes, and basic grading. Keep up the good work!!

A tractor is a must-have on any farm or ranch. You could pay someone else to do the work, but you need deep pockets for that. Be careful on your equipment. A good day can turn into your last day with one mistake. Thanks for following along with the project as always.

    • @williamsobers5057
      @williamsobers5057 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@TimelineRanch I try to be careful. I'm thinking about getting a second tractor to rent out. Or just to have as a spare. Love the old tractors for ease of repair and rebuild ability. Unlike todays stuff that you discard.

    • @TimelineRanch

@williamsobers5057 I understand where you are coming from with the older tractors. I think they engineer, the new ones to where the average joe cannot work on them anymore. On my little Kubota, I just do general maintenance and some of the more simple tasks, like changing tracks and rollers that type of thing.
