I broke my ankle when I rolled down a big Hill during Winter and at the bottom there was a big block of ice and it hurt like hell but after sitting there for a little bit it stopped hurting so I walked about 30 minutes home with my friends who also rolled down the hill but we're fine. Anyways I got home went to sleep and woke up and it was still normal looking but a little swollen so I went to school and about 2 hours into school it felt like it was on fire and there was a sharp pain so I was limping and I decided to roll my sock down and look at it...it was about the size of a baseball as far as circumference and as far as how far it stuck out I'd say maybe an inch more than a normal ankle. So I went to the nurses office after going to my class and showing my teacher so that I wouldn't get marked absent and they called my brother (he's my legal guardian) and we went to the hospital and it turned out that during my sleep it didn't swell up because I didn't have pressure on it for to long so when I began to walk around school with my backpack which was Mayne an extra 15 pounds or so on top of the 170 I already weighed it began to swell up and and bruise. So I was on crutches for a little bit and was fine. And that's my story thanks for reading. 😊
My grandmother walked on a broken leg for 6 weeks before they figured it out, yet I said she broke it the night that she fell and no one would even consider that theory. People breaking bones and not knowing it happens more often than people think. I broke my wrist and didn't know it for 8 weeks.
thats because there is a considerable number of levels of "broken bone". When its snapped through, everybody knows it. If it's a hair / stress fracture, it can be easy to ignore (but still rarely completely painless). When I snapped my collarbone I knew it for two reasons: 1. My shoulder didnt function properly and 2. I could feel the two ends sticking up beneath the skin when I checked 🤣
