  • Dalida was one of the most accomplished and internationally renowned singers of the 20th century. Having sold over 140 million records worldwide, she was a legend during her own lifetime. But behind the glamor and professional success were catastrophic personal failures. In this video, I will be exploring the story of Dalida’s life from her childhood in Egypt to her final years in France, alternating between stories regarding her career and her tragic personal life which would eventually lead her to premature death. If you like this video please don’t forget to subscribe to my channel and click the notification bell to see more documentaries like this one. Thank you for watching. All of The information that i used to make this video was pulled from the book "Dalida" by Catherine Rihoit and internet articles about Dalida.

I came across Dalida's grave when I visited Paris in 2010: I had never heard of her, being from Australia - but the world new her and I recognised how she was very much loved - and now knowing her history, and visiting her gravesite, I will always remember her. 🇪🇬🇫🇷🇦🇺✝️

I think she needed to have better people around her. Knowing that she was depressed and that she had tried it before and they didn't do anything???

Her name although written correctly as Dalida ,is pronounced differently. More like Dalidà.
