After the crushing difficulty of the N Sane Trilogy in some spots, I'm honestly kinda surprised these are still doable on the hardest difficulty without pinpoint precision and perfection.

do you get something extra if you complete these in hard? there is only a trophy to complete adventure mode on hard that means it doesnt need crystals+ctr/cnk?
Please help! I spent two hours beating 1 level, I collected all 20 crystals but timer was 0:0:00, does it still count? Dont remember if the “you win!” Sign popped up, thanks
I done these on medium - Parking Lot and Desert Storm were a real pain. Focusing on all the Oxide ghosts now, done 18/31 and then will go back to do these on hard.
The game isn't actually to difficult to platinum. When you start up the game for the first time you'll think that it's impossible. But once you get used to the mechanics and x3 drifting, you'll literally beat Oxides time trial times with little effort. I usually beat him on the first or second try with the exception of the odd track with crappy design ie: dragon mines. Use a speed character on both Hard mode and Time trials. You'll breeze through the game. Penta penguin for me!
They didn’t put much thought into this game when they did the crystals. They really didn’t. Plus they don’t give you enough time to collect them that’s what pisses me off about it. 😡
Why can't they make the game as easy as the original? What's the point in making it too difficult this time? Even medium feels like I'm competing in some international race or something. Fuck this game. I'll stick with the original.

The hit boxes on the crystals are too small, it feels so cheap when you’re basically touching it and the game doesn’t give it to you.
I feel the exact same way, sometimes for the letters for the ctr token races too

To unlock Fake Crash, you have to beat the Purple Gem Cup in Adventure Mode.
Yup. In order the get the purple gem you need to enter the purple gem cup. But you need to get the purple tokens, and this is how you get them.
