Same, spend hundreds maybe even thousands of hours ingame as a kid with my brother and we found only few of them, technically said only the very obvious ones ... It's a wow feeling to see that some parts of circuits that you thought could be abused but never found a way how so you gave up ... are actually abusable :D :D ie. the fence in the Pinstripe Sky level, I always though it's not that high so it would be cool to jump over it ... and now I see that it's actually possible, just from the other way :D :D :D

Not really because he uses the mask which requires slowing being in a low placement then carrying it to 1st and using it on the shortcuts and I could do the shortcuts without a mask
Oh try the time trials now with the developers times it's nuts and hard to do
Man I'm gonna miss these voiceovers with random phrases/noises. Wish they kept it exactly the same for nostalgic purposes in the remake.
Crash was my main and his voiceovers is so very nostalgic to me while watching this vid.
Can't wait to see everyone attempting the old glitch shortcuts and lose because they got patched.
Yeah it took ages to find these shortcuts just know that the professionals will test the race tracks in time trial and find the shortcuts that way for us online.

Llevo 18 años de mi vida jugando a esto casi a diario y me sorprende ver atajos nuevos...
I knew all of the intended ones but the broken ones seem so obvious now. I just never looked for them. Great video.
Especially on the Pyrimad track I was blown away because that was my favorit track that I played so much. Like for example the super obvious one were you cut the last turn completely. That looks so easy and obvious. How did I miss that.

If you played time trial mode against the ghost N Trophy and then N Oxide, the last one did some of the biggest shortcuts displayed on this vid during his run, most of the times he did a x3 lap shortcut and you had to emulate him while being faster and with no item assistance. Pretty brutal.

This video needs to be shown to ALL GAME TESTERS who get to play the game early(including Journalists). At least then, they’d know how to play the game.
time flies :) me and my friends always know this tricks before youtube era, those are really fun memories. i hope they didn't patch all this tricks in nitro fuel. the fun in ctr is to using this tricky shortcut. some of them is reaaaaally hard to do and makes you die several times before make it, so it's really have it's price :D
I swear some of those clips were straight from 5 year old me after ramming into every wall and jumping off every ledge to try and find more shortcuts. Had no idea about the other playable characters though

I really hope they dont mess with the handling flags, all I want is just updated graphics honestly, everything else the same
they updated a lot of assets so im not sure if some of the glitch shortcuts will be valid anymore, but using uga to run on terrain will be in still. but will be exciting to see.
Not gonna lie, sometimes I completely forget Slide Coliseum even exists
On Nitro Fueled, some of these game-breaking shortcuts can no longer be done, even at 5:55 they made the wall higher and impassible. Some of the cheats work however but getting boss characters via cheat code like Pinstripe and N. Tropy cannot be done
I was pissed when they got rid of that one, but unlocking bosses was easier before you needed to get a gem for each boss now it's just beat them

It's not a problem for SCs. But I would be sad if they remove all our techs we found after 20 years of plays.

@@bunnyfreakz reserve is the core system of ctr, full gauge turbo is the most basic thing of ctr, sacred fire is not a glitch it's due to reserve and created by naughty dog, 99.9% of players are just bad because they never understood the gameplay. Only saffi fire is a glitch exploit.
They can remove glitch i dont care, but no reserve = no ctr

5:13-6:26 Hot Air Skyway is my favorite track, mainly because I can imagine the Trophy Girls supported by the blimps while being Two Ton Heavy Things
And people say Super Smash Bros. Melee is a broken game.
Seriously, the fact that there are SOOO many exploits in these tracks really showcase how bad Naughty Dog’s quality control was. Most of those shortcuts weren’t even intentional on their part.

I remember when I found out that Penta Penguin, who had the perfect stats, was only unlockable with a cheat code. I had played countless hours as Tiny Tiger, Dingodile and others with the top speed (but poor steering) capabilities to beat all the time trials with an extremely good time. And all with fair play. Man, was I ever pissed off! Because you could still do better as the penguin

If you can do all those shortcuts which need speed booster with only turbo from drifting (without turbo or papu-papu from crates), you can beat Oxide's ghost in time trial mode.

HistorySkate I think they’ll keep the ones that were BUILT IN shortcuts. You know, shortcuts that were actually MEANT to be in the game. But I don’t think any of the ones that are glitches shortcuts will be returning. They’ll likely patch those. As for the cheat codes, I imagine they’ll be bringing new ways to earn those additional racers(PLUS NEW ONES), so we won’t need codes for them. (I don’t know who Penta Penguin is. I’ve never heard of that character in the Crash Bandicoot universe). And the other codes for cheats...I don’t think those will be making a return. They didn’t in the Spyro: The Reignited Trilogy.

Some of those shortcuts has been making some changing on this remake and the abuse of glitch, i'm not sure they have it right now. But i will try every maps they have. I tried several times in papu's pyramids for abusing those shortcuts, but i guess just a couple of those shortcut still available in game. And the more crazy thing is.. some of The AI know how to use those shortcut as well.

10:43 This code can be used even on Adventure!!! Choose Adventure; then you have "New" or "Load", do the sequence on the one you want and you're done! Can be used to start a New Game or continue an already saved.

On the shortcut in Sewer Speedway, it is FAR better to immediately jump off the right once you get up there. Don't continue the whole way around.

Buen video amigo, hablando de atajos lejales, no sabía ese atajo laargo de la pista del Marciano, en cuanto a velocidad y turbos, no te acercas a mi ( Ojalá podamos competir online ) por cierto, pudiste desbloquear al marciano? Parece que eso no se podía hacer, intente todo lo posible, los rescate a 103%...quedo el sin sabor de poner records con sombra con ese Marciano.

Dudo completamente que en nitro fueled la mayoria de los atajos del video puedan realizarse, supongo que la diferencia de glitches en el remake sera MUY distinta al original y Bennox si mal no lo escribi pondra atención a eso, o almenos eso creo para hacer más "justas" las carreras sobre todo por el online y que los codigos de las armas turbos y todo eso solo serán disponibles para el modo un jugador o a lo mucho versus batalla
Yo desde luego espero que bloqueen algunos atajos. Tal vez que dejen algunos de los convencionales como los de Cala Crash, el de las Tuberías (hace mucho que no juego y no recuerdo los nombres xD), o el del Castillo Cortex.
Pero ya esos como la Estación Oxide, Paso Polar, o el de Coco ya no. Romperían demasiado las carreras sobretodo en online. Recuerdo que en el Mario Kart 7 se abusaba mucho de un atajo muy roto antes de que lo parchearan.
Y los códigos como dices, si los ponen que al menos sea para el modo solitario.
Es lo mejor, con el online este tipo de desiciones son entendibles, solo espero que la mayoría de los "nostal-players" también puedan entenderlo.

Lots of creative shortcuts. Personally hope to see the intended ones all remain while the glitched ones won't be do-able; at very least for online play and online scoreboards.
Agreed, though personally I think they should keep a lot of the sneakier ones, as long as they don't require you to go backwards. Like 2:32. With normal physics, that would be very hard to execute and you should be rewarded if you can pull it off.
