BY FAR the best review I've seen... I'm glad that #1 You played MORE THAN ONE STYLE OF MUSIC!!! (my god am i sick of people repeating the same classic rock/blues riffs over and over again in their reviews) #2 You actually played riffs that fit the tones you used. #3 You wasted no time. Just right into it and continued blowing through all the different sounds in a timely manner without skipping anything Seriously appreciate that.. It may take more effort on your end but its extremely helpful for viewers and it's much appreciated. Subbing for sure and recommend others to sub as well! Great stuff!
Such a great demo. Scientifically showing off so many different possible uses for the guitar, without any nonsense. And also, the playing is beautiful.
Got one in Fresh Cream. My first Danelectro, and couldn’t be more pleased. Upon inspection, it appeared more expensive that it’s modest price. Fit and finish were very good with the exception of the fret ends needing dressing (did that myself). I was amazed at how good the tuning stability was, and though it came with 10’s for strings, it handled 8’s with no problem at all. Great sounding guitar!
Great video thank you... Just ordered three different types of Danelectro including this one. I'm still waiting on my ramble twin Bender. Should be a good combination...
I tried this one out today, and I absolutely loved it. The walnut on white looks so good, with the pointy knobs like something off an old toaster. It plays better than anything I've ever played with the exception of my Tele Ultra. The finish feels a bit plasticky but I think that's on purpose to give it that old 50s vibe. It sounds great too, especially with some gain. Really cool guitar. It was 1k Canadian, it if I found d a used one I'd buy it instantly. Try it out if you can.
I know these are not original sentiments, but: - you can play ANYTHING with a Danelectro! They really are versatile, clean or dirty - Brett K. is the best gear 'demo-er' ever, and one tasty, solid guitar player. He can't sound bad.
The little bit of "Ten Years Gone" you played in the into, just reminded me ... it was hearing you play some of it on another video you did, inspired me to go learn it, so cheers for that. I am about to build a guitar from a bit of walnut, and I was reading up on "tonewood" (which I'm still not convinced about) and it was stated that "walnut is a very bright sounding wood". I've also heard people talk about how bright and top end focussed lipstick pickups are. So it might be presumed that a walnut guitar with lipstick pickups might tear your ears off by how bright and top end focussed it is, but going on this demo alone, that assumption may not be correct. Anyhoo, lovely guitar and good demo. P.S. I'm thinking of trying P90's in my new walnut guitar. They might give the guitar a broader tonal quality, maybe, AND I've never tried P90s, so I'm curious. :)
I just got a Charvel pro-mod dk-24 HH FR. Kinda wish I got one of these instead not going to lie. This or the 75th anniversary tele. LOVE the Charvel but I just need that vintage tone 😔
Great review. You did a wonderful job showing the versatility of this guitar. Beautiful tones.

Seriously... No corny classic rock blues, free-garageband-loop-sounding riffs lol. Really helpful compared to the other reviews I watched
It pairs wonderfully well with the tweed.
Beautiful! I knew they were cool, but I didn't know they could sound so diverse. This is wonderful. Thanks, Brett!
Hey Brett, great review, great tones and great playing as always. Cheers---
masterful playing, makes anything sound great, might have to check this one out
Play it masterfully! 😝
Bravo Brett! Always the best gear demos. ( I have a '97 Dano '56 U-2 - extremely versatile, lightweight, fun!)

That grin at 2:58 says everything.
Fabulous looking guitar and sounds brilliant! Great versatility too! Thanks for the Smokin demo Brett!
Oh nice, the cream and walnut finish looks so classy.

Some great tones again there Brett. Seems like a very versatile guitar and running it through the Axe shows it to perfection. Good stuff! Cheers.

Thanks, Joe! Very kind. I agree with your assessment of the Danos too. They rock ... like you!
What a sound! 😲 Amazing Guitar, amazing player!!
Sweet guitar. And. That. Cygnus. Wow
I don’t know what it is but Danelectro guitars just sound awesome. It’s the only affordable brand that I actually get excited about trying/buying.
Very good review brother, I just ordered one. 🎶🎸🎶
Bro, was that Achilles Last Stand in there?? One of the best songs ever.
Gotta love Danelectros!
Ha! I would call it the ice cream sandwich edition
Very impressive tones. Proof you don't need to spend boutique money to get good sounds. Well done. I think I'm on the hunt.....

I heavily respected it when you started playing Achilles Last Stand.

That danelectro through the rotary speaker was magic!
Well that all sounds rather tasty...
Walnut finish is killer.
Seems like the walnut looks just like a block of brown. Doesnt always look super walnuty
Was hoping for a satin finish
Sounds fantastic in your hands! Very distinctive sound...a bit Rickenbacker-ish?
Yeah. Very unforgiving tingly, tangly, jangly tones. You've got to be right on top of those notes - unlike me. :D
Is that a real laminate walnut wood on the top and back, or just a polymer image?
My #1 question about these that I can't find the answer to heh
Polynut
😮
Very clanky and clear
sounds like telecaster
