This project is amazing and the craft and workmanship is 1st class engineering. This is how car tv shows should be. Just wish the episodes were longer as I'd watch hours of this. Great work guy's cannot wait for next episode.
Since this build started I have, graduated uni, had 3 different jobs, bought a house, got engaged, got married, had a child, owned 4 different cars, broke both arms twice each, shit the bed once and somehow this damn car still isn't finished. Here's to the next 9 years!

Have you noticed how they've gone grey since the start of the build? Nonetheless, it has been an entertaining and interesting project, and it is far from being the slowest one ever undertaken..
Everyone have to follow You bad obsessed Tea drinkers, if he see this nugget. It`s start at the top and getting much better... There are a ton of right comments about the Fabrications, Brackets, Eastereggs and the Tea. There all really on Point, i think. But (!) these Humor, the Text, and the acting is also on top Level or above - I`m really impressed - clearly the best content on Youtupe and the hole car World. Its Online, in the bad Internet and i haven`t read any bad Word about BOM - think about it. Thank Y O U ! and all supporters/fans… Binky is getting a bigger Hero as Herby - it have to be, i`m sure. But these two (take any good Word and its isn`t enough) are even better, because they showing the power of Time, Brute Force and thinking to the end with english Humor. Typing this in the sixth year of the build: By the time it's finished, will someone have made an even more powerful and faster 4WD Mini with electric propulsion? That would also make a very interesting video series. Maybe your next project?

Right? It runs fine, looks great, and they're ready to consign it to the scrap heap. It's in better condition than pretty much any vehicle I've ever owned! :)

what would be the point in that ??? group B died a long long time ago , and a mini/6r4 hybrid would just not be the same as lets say the 500+ bhp Quatro wouldnt you agree ??

Sorry to break it to you guys, but they’re never going to complete Binky at this rate. I was in 10th grade when they began this project - I’m now a Professional Engineer, and progress is slower than ever. We’ve gotten a pitiful TWO WHOLE UPDATES in the last TWO YEARS, despite our financial support. I used to believe in these guys up until the last couple of years, and I genuinely thought they’d finish it. But they constantly make mountains out of molehills, and the “OMG, Nick is soooo OCD” jokes USED to be funny - about 6 years ago. Sorry for being so abrasive but I think we all need a wake up call. Time to finish it up and stop focusing on silly racing leagues none of us care about.
It's 2022 now, October at that; last we heard some new fascination passed brackets has transfixed ole Nik and Richard can't drag him off his new fetish, it would seem. In the past it was always some bit of connective this, that or the other that kept progress from ringing out, now it seems world wide shipping problems have finally caught up with Shropshire. It seems like I was a youth in my sprightly 50's when this came along; and I thought, what a lark, stuffing all of that into one Mini- how bizarre is that! Well, they've got most of the stuffing done but can't quite seem to make a consistent goer of it ! FR
Great content, although I do feel that the hackneyed "Top Gear" style doesn't suit you. Go with your own style, your content is great and deserves this.
On that note, despite affirming in later videos that the GT 4 was somehow "past it" and should not be mourned, due to some sort of catastrophic accident, it still looks basically mint here, and hardly a scratch on it. Of course it ran fine too. I do not see the motivation to tear it to pieces and scrap the body...

The next project after Binky will be to restore Binky's engine and running gear and install them in the empty Celica shell :)
