What I found funny about DBGT is that Toriyama directly shat all over GT's canon with his last movie. If you remember in the beginning of GT Emperor Pilaf, Mai, and Chou were all old and were looking for the Dragonballs to wish for eternal youth. In The Battle of Gods which took place ~10 years before the beginning of GT they were all kids because they succeeded in getting their wish, though they were made younger than they wanted.
I know it isn't. Toriyama didn't like the fact that GT was made, and I feel like what he did with the Pilaf gang was a direct jab at GT. No need to be a prick.
