Watching this in the noisy, overcrowded, polluted, congested city of Phnom Penh, but come from Scotland and spent many years working in hotels in the West Highlands, and I can't tell you how nostalgic and homesick this video makes me feel. I used to wake up at 5am to watch the sunrise over the hills in Sunart, and saw otters many times. Its always an amazing moment, and if its combined with a good sky it can make your heart just burst at the wonder of it. For sunsets I'd go to a place just as you come into Kinghorn, Fife, and some nights the sky would be ablaze as the sun went down behind the bridges. Thanks for posting
In a field dominated by men, it's great to see a young, enthusiastic woman landscape photographer. Your images are great and your videos show off your passion for photography. Keep up the good work and keep your videos coming. Love watching them.
Great video! Very nice pictures, they have improved a lot compared to your first video's. Really nice work! Greetings from Holland, where it rains as much as in England I guess! You earned my subscription.
I have been there at the end of March, first part of April, there was no one else as it was in the off season. There are many sets of Standing stones in that area and they all deserve a visit. I like watching your vlogs. Don't be in a rush to get the shot, take time to smell the roses, we only live once and there is so much to see. Watch the weather, it changes fast and it will direct you as to the better places to go to get the shot.
The shots of the Callanish stones are very very good, composition and hues brilliant ! Well done i'd be well chuffed with them . I've been to many of the Islands and they are all magical, still have a few small ones on my bucket list :)
Another brilliant video. I always get a thrill out of seeing wild otters, and was lucky enough to see a beaver at Loch Lowe earlier this year. It looks an amazing place, and I'll say it again, I love seeing young people get a thrill out of the natural world and your joy at the things you saw is, to me, is what it is all about. None of the modern bits of technology the world seems obsessed with come anywhere near it. Great images and those of the stones were gorgeous, especially the close cropped/longer lens one. I can't wait to see your video the Isle of Harris and I'll be there next year and as the place is named after me...
Mark, I have to agree with you about that crop of the long lens shot of the stones at sunrise near the end. Fantastic. And well done once again Kim, your enthusiasm for our beautiful country is absolutely wonderful..
Some lovely soft tones in those sunrise shots. Beautiful, despite not having the place to yourself you captured some great stills and video. You have a natural knack for storytelling.
I really liked this a lot. Your enthusiasm and pleasure are utterly infectious, and your pictures were excellent - despite the obstacles! Great locations, too. Keep it up!
Stunning sunrise images, oh so jealous of your otter sighting, fully understand you sheer excitement, you are so privileged, keep the vlogs coming, I am hooked 👍🍷
Fantastic vlog! It was great to share in your excitement during this trip. Glad it all worked out for you and keep those amazing images coming. Well done Kim!
Harris and Lewis are on my bucket list and it was wonderful to watch your vlog. I managed to get to Skye last year and it was amazing even if my images weren't lol
Hey Kim, I'm really happy to have found your channel. Your pictures are great! I enjoyed your first couple of videos and I'm looking forward to the next! I'm sure I'll find some inspiration for my next trip to Scotland.
HI Kim! I just discovered your channel via recommendation from Gary Gough! :-) It was a bit tough for me to understand your accent at first (as english is not my first language accents are always tricky) , but I think I got it now. Now pleeease visit the Isle of Skye and show us how to pronounce these amazing places there (like Sligachan, Quiraing etc) correctly! I would love to hear a Scot pronounce it properly. :-) It's not too far from Harris... ;-) Best of luck for your channel! :-)
Fräulein Daniela Thank you very much! Yes, I've been to skye many times. It's a wonderful place! I do hope to go again sometime I the next year so stay tuned and your dream video might appear in the new year ☺
Another great vlog. The stone images are beautiful Kim and reflect these iconic structures in a very sympathetic way. Your photography is inspiring and it's great to see. What time of year did you visit Lewis and was the trip easy to organise?
Alun Finnigan Thank you! It was the start of August that I was there and yes very easy! Just booked the ferry a few months in advance and did some photography location research ☺
Awesome VLOG Kim. Great to see a fellow Landscape Photography Blogger - and I thought all your images were fantastic! Hope it's okay to ask - but which camera are you using there to take your shots? Very impressed with the detail!
Fantastic vlog, we’re just planning a trip to the outer Hebrides and stumbled across your vlog, you don’t happen to have a link or know what the site was with the camping pod where you were watching otters, looks amazing
hello Kim, yes Lewis is Brilliant for photography, my daughter & family have just moved their 12 months ago, you are where my daughter lives, Ive seen her home in your footage
if you look from stones 1 towards stones 2 & 3, that's the spot, try looking at these or better still go to black rock when they have storms, l also suggest if you return at any time , try Harris some stunning scenery, fantastic
I don't usually watch long talks and less action but it seems this channel is different. I just clicked subscribe. Will go scrolling through your videos.
Good vid, and some cracking shots. Fantastic emotion when seeing the otters playing. Only 1 small niggle, the sound quality is not great. But apart from that well done.
paul trunfull Thank you Paul! Yes, I'm not happy with the sound quality myself. I'm hoping things will improve the more videos I make and the more I learn. 😊
Kim. I’m enjoying your vlogs. However I just got a stern call from my neighbor about his walls rumbling. I’m usually able to adjust the volume down when your “happy tunes” come on after a narration. However I was out walking my dog today and couldn’t adjust the music down. I’d really appreciate if when you add music that you could adjust music more in line with your narration. Thx 😉
Fantastic to see a truly enthusiastic female landscape photography vlogger on TH-cam. Great video, great location, great weather - well done. If Tom Heaton has copyrighted 'Stunning' - wonder what your 'catch word' is? Keep up the good work!

Lovely images Kim, that rainbow was phenomenal, and how lucky to see wild otters too! Thanks.
Thank you Kim. Another special photo shoot from you again. Keep up the great work, smile & attitude.
Awesome images well worth getting up for, and as for the otters what a bonus, they really are cute little rascals.👍👍
Tim Blake Thank you and yes, it was well worth it!
Another great video Kim and you pulled off a magnificent sunrise image. Lewis and Harris are on my bucket list.
Fantastic standing stones Kim, love your photography! All the best Graham
It is really nice to have a female approach to landscape photography. Your enthusiasm is infectious. Nice shots.

simplyphil.photography Wow, that's amazing that you've seen her house in my video! Such a small world. It's a great island.
if you look from stones 1 towards stones 2 & 3, that's the spot, try looking at these or better still go to black rock when they have storms, l also suggest if you return at any time , try Harris some stunning scenery, fantastic
If I had that cloudscape like that I could care less about a sunset ;-)

All of us are still learning, some of us have been learning for 20+ years and still will be to the bitter end !
I want to go!!!!!
Great final shot. I bet being there at silly o clock in the morning you didn't expect it to be too busy to vlog. Gutted
James R Burns Thanks and I certainly didn't! I expected one or two people at the most but people just kept arriving....so annoying 😂
A man meditating. A man doing some sort of ritual with incense. I assume you left before they locked Edward Woodward into the big wicker man statue?
Kim. I’m enjoying your vlogs. However I just got a stern call from my neighbor about his walls rumbling. I’m usually able to adjust the volume down when your “happy tunes” come on after a narration. Oh, I think you got the shot at 11:47. Well worth the early morning.
I really enjoy your photography vids. Keep going.
The absence of "muzak" over your dialogue is much appreciated.
Paul Stevenson Thank you Paul!

Mark Day thank you very much Mark! Mmm...I wonder! Haha 😂
I wonder the catch word may be "phenomenal"? 04:43
Lovely video. You have a nice friend willing to go places with you
She needs a camera to :)
Have you considered using an "L" bracket for your camera... It's made life a lot easier for me when shooting landscape photos.
Darrell Johnson Would love to own one but at over £100 - I can't really justify it at the moment. One day!
I like you........
Kim, you really need an L bracket so you don't turn the head of your tripod over to an unstable position.
John Summerfield Yes John, would love one but at over £100....it will have to wait for now unfortunately 😔
