I really appreciate and enjoy your videos! Even with the Razbam situation, DCS really has more maps and modules than I can fully use and enjoy. Afghanistan, Iraq, and possibly Fulda to follow, DCS developers still continue to update existing maps. Very nice. It would be nice to know (hard to tell fact from guess) an update if there is a path forward for Razbam, but I’m not holding my breath. as far as multicrew goes, i can do without tbh. its hard enough to convince my friend to drop $50 or more on some of these planes, even more so for the chinook considering how much early it is in early access
Has there ever been a simulation of the Chinook in the past? I can't think of any sim that has had it as a featured and well-modelled craft. I won't personally be super interested in it but it does seem like a really cool opportunity for anyone who is into multi-rotored helicopters and transport vehicles. IL-2 Korea seems more up my alley and I am really looking forward to it! It looks like it will be bringing IL-2 up to modern standards in visuals and the Korean War theme really interests me.
It'd be cool if they add a feature to the supercarrier where you can choose to launch additional groups to do stuff, like launching an alert 5, or launching a SEAD flight to take out SAMS. They could add a "limit" to this function in mission editor. I just think it'd be cool to drive the boat and start launching stuff.
What about sending other ships in the Group on different vectors....and if you change Course/Speed with the Super Carrier, I'd think that the entire Group would adjust as well? And lastly, is there a reverse throttle, would help with docking!
I am excited for the chinook, but i dont think im preordering it or buying it until i see the initial reviews. Im hopeful after the kiowa release, but I'm still skeptical.
Unlucky me. Leaving on holliday next week. Had hoped to check some of the new stuff berfore but now I have to wait 2 more weeks. Although you never now when the update gets delayed even further.
It's a common problem with upscaling techniques unfortunately. Some games/engines handle it better than others. DLAA ghosts less in DCS than DLSS/FSR but it's still present and Nvidia only.
Cannot wait for the Chinook but I'm also confortible with its delay, seeing That ED has released the, the Kola mao, F-4E and OH-58 Kiowa quite close to each other this year. I hope this will be the future from ED, with multiple launches each year and not drip feeding content one a year or every 2 yrs..

I love how the IL2 community has been spamming for a Pacific IL-2 for years since 1946, we've had Cliffs of Dover, BoX with the entire European conflict secured, and they go to.. Korea? In early jet age? Why??
In some ways it makes sense. They wanted pacific but ran into too many problems so they went for an easier documented era. And last of the fully gun era where they don’t have to model air to air missiles. Ill play it but I also wish someone would do the Battle of France personally
