Mine was about Ruby and Sapphire getting into an argument and Ruby storming off somewhere. When Sapphire told Steven, they both assumed that means that they're divorced now and Steven immediately got over it and was like "ok i'll help you get a new wife"
okay i initially thought you meant the POKEMON GAMES NOT WHATEVER THAT IS- why did i imagine kyogre just flying over to some dude with white hair to tell him about The Divorce
When i was like 4 years old i wrote a VERY short premise for a fake MLP episode where Celestia became queen. I just thought it was weird in my little child brain that there was a CLEAR power imbalance yet she and Luna shared the same title. Found out recently that that was the original intention for the character but got scrapped because queens in the MLP universe were always evil and it might confuse children, so its very funny to me that their final changed version is what actually confused me as a child.
One of my first fanfic ideas was for an ATLA AU where Toph never invented metalbending and was sent back to her parents. This story would have been 10 chapters long and narrated from Toph's perspective. It would have ended with Toph killing her parents as an act of revenge and running off to find her friends only for the story to end on a cliffhanger. I tried writing it down once, but deleted it because it was too messy. The idea still exists, but it is unlikely that the fanfiction will ever be posted.
I was obsessed with both Warrior Cats and Transformers Animated as a kid, and when I was twelve I wrote a story that was basically "what if there was secretly a group of transformers on another planet that were basically giant robot cats that lived in a society identical to the Clans in Warrior Cats, and a group of them crash landed on Earth for some reason and they became friends with the Autobots???" all I remember from that story was that 1) I wrote all of it on my iPod Touch's notes app, which had no spell check and no formatting options (and I copy-pasted it directly to the WC forums without editing ANYTHING), and 2) I straight-up ripped off Feathertail's death at the end of my fic because I thought "well, if it was heart-breaking in Warriors, it'll be heart-breaking in my story too!!!" weird to think back on those days now, but it's what got me into writing which is still one of my biggest passions to this day. I kinda wish I still had my twelve-year-old self's oblivious confidence tbh 😅
oh also I just remembered that since my iPod touch broke and the WC forums are deleted, it's probably lost to the sands of time forever. :( remember to back up your files, kids! even shit you think kinda sucks! you'll never know if you wanna look at it a decade down the line to reminisce and see how far you've come!!
My first fanfiction was a Little Mermaid fanfic I wrote when I was like 6 or something. Flounder got made into a fish fillet by evil aquatic pterodactyls. Ariel then got a new pet fish and did a weird magic ritual with her OC friends in order to give the new fish Flounder's memories and personality. I was a strange child
My first fanfiction was about BotW. It was a weird AU where Link saved Magda (aka Flowerblight Ganon/that lady who screams at you for stepping on her flowers) and she joined him on his quest. I decided to re-write the storyline recently as an SMG4 AU with the Zelda universe instead of the Mario universe, because I liked my cast of characters so much (and SMG4).
My very first fanfic was a Pokémon Black and white anime fic that was supposed to be an explanation for Cilan's fear of Purrloin in the show, as well as a story where he overcomes said fear. (This fear is never explained in the anime, nor does he conquer said fear.) I remember the plot clearly. The story I came up with was that when Cilan was a kid, he was attacked by a zombie-fied Purrloin (at the time I had learned about the adventures Manga Pokémon zombies.) And was saved by the Pansage that would become his partner. Fast forward to years later and while visiting his brothers, he finds himself turning into a Purrloin, and in a panic runs into a forest. (He doesn't shrink down to the size of a Purrloin, he is just a Purrloin at Cilan's height.) Now his brothers Chilli and Cress, combined with a girl from the Johto anime series have to track him down. EDIT: Just to clear something up, the girl in the Johto anime I'm referring to is a witch girl from an episode titled "Hocus Pokémon" in which she gets the character's help in making a spell that will allow people to communicate with Pokémon. Also I'd like to let everyone know that I was 7 when I came up with this. This might as well be a core memory for me.
The very first "fan fiction" I wrote was for a creative writing class in 7th grade, it was a fan fiction about a young guy falling in love with a McDonald's employee. It was straight ass, and was totally satirical, and of course I told my friends about it, but it somehow spiraled out of my grasp and a bunch of people I didn't even know knew about it. Hell, this girl I know in highschool now, that I never knew beforehand, knew about this story I wrote because one of my friends I shared the story with went to her youth group. I will never be able to live this story down.
Mine was a Pokemon self-insert fic. I was a girl named ‘Yuri’, I used the Japanese names, and it was set in a *new* region and it was basically a reskinned sun and moon. So, Yuri and Ash were childhood friends and now they were going to the same school. Yep. It’s just Sun and Moon all over again.
My very first written fan-fiction not posted was of my dog in Mrs Perguine’s home for peculiar children. She was a flying wiener dog who lived with the peculiar children. I saw the movie and read the book as it was handed to me in fourth grade or third grade and so that’s how it was born my fanfic writing hobby.
My first fanfic was bassically "What if Ocarina of time was open world?" as in Link constantly managed to head to the one location nobody told him about and did all the temples in an non conventional order. He also was a constant troublemaker as his first instinct upon meeting Ganon was to use a deku nut to have the guy's horse throw him off; ditch the Whale temple after the zora princess was rude to him and mess around in Lake Hylia instead, which turned into a fishing trip followed by the discovery of the other part of the map of Hyrule field, until it escalated into him stealing the Silver Arrows and somehow getting into the Sand Temple prematurely. The "Fanfic" ended there, but yeah, my first story was just Link messing around with his 10 year old attention span.
When I was like nine or ten, I started a crossover where the Winx Club and the turtles from the 2003 TMNT series switched universes and bodies and I was the only one able to travel between their worlds to help save them. It was an ongoing story that I pretended that I was telling to the posters on my wall. Eventually, it grew to include all the media I was obsessed with at the time and a whole bunch of ocs. After a while, I had to stop because I was having trouble remembering what happened and the story was focusing too much on the ocs for my liking.
My first collective fanfic with my stepsister was The Meme Hotel which was basically us reality-jumping between different media collecting characters for a massive hotel, a concept which evolved into two separate entities both being currently written as Pokémon fanfictions separately. My first individual fanfiction was Emolga’s First Halloween which is trash but is also still up on Wattpad to this day.
It feels like all of us at some point had a fanfiction with a concept of "big ass hotel with many characters from all around tha universe", it's just like your personal imaginary dollhouse where all of your toys are having a blissful sitcom-esque experience
@@lizardycrow2304 I did too only instead of a hotel mine was a prison (it was to contain and reform villains but it's funnier if we don't think about that part)
I wrote my first ever fanfiction when I was 12. It was a Riddle School fanfic about me going to Riddle School. I was a maladaptive daydreamer when I was younger and I was basically just documenting the daydreams I had in school. Not only was it very boring in retrospect, lacking any real plot, but the creator of Riddle School turned out to be a pedophile. I posted the fic on Deviant Art for a while and then stopped because I felt obligated to give my self-insert a canon character as a love interest but I had a crush on one of my classmates instead. Eventually, I started pretending that my school was Riddle School, I was Smiley, and my crush was Phil, and then I wrote Philey fics based on my interactions with my crush. We were both Riddle School fans and he liked me back, so he was in on it. Also, at that point, I had migrated to Wattpad.
@@peachymunmagenta Yeah. When he was 18, he entered a relationship with an 11 y/o, and that relationship lasted 7 years. I feel bad for the girl who spent all of middle and high school in that situation.
I read the Princess Diaries as a kid. During the later books (maybe the very last one?) The protagonist and her best friend were in a fight and I didn't like that, so after reading this sour encounter they had in a bathroom, I wrote a little scene where they apologised to each other instead and were back to being besties. I never showed it to anybody but I remember proudly telling my grandma that I was writing fanfiction because I had recently learned about the term from a tween magazine lol. Pretty sure I was 11 or 12
BRO that fight in princess diaries made me SO MAD. I actually only read the 10th book like, last year (I first started reading the series in about 2018/19), and honestly, i hated that finale. why did Mia turn from a nice, if dorky, activist character, into basically a popular girl who did very questionable things with her relationships??? that JP nonsense was TERRIBLE. sorry, I'm just very mad about how that happened. ALSO what was the random sexual story Mia wrioe that was interspersed in book 10???? I'm glad I didnt read that book at a younger age, cuz wtf. still skipped most of it bc it was BAD, but yeah...
@denkisupremacy 🤝 lmaoo honestly i dont remember much of the series anymore, just that i hated the fight. Also wasn't there a spinoff book that's supposedly the romance novel Mia wrote? I tried reading it for a bit and even as a kid/teen i felt uncomfortable with the female lead being 17
@MustardToob oh yeah, I saw it in my school library and was like, NOPE, not reading that. but WOW, 17??? when there's sexual plotlines? and like, kidnapping? damn, that's just wrong... if even kid you can see it, you know the author made a bad choice there 😭 but literally. that fight was also my least fave thing. Lilly was one of the only Sensible characters tbh!
Have you ever had an assignment in school where you had to do a creative writing piece about a book the class was reading? Writing through a different character's perspective or changing the ending, for example.
@@rosykindbunny1313 not what i remember. I only recall writing own stories in school, like for different themes or stuff that need to be in it. Def had books we reviewed, or philosophize assignments tho. Just not what you proposed from what i recall
did you ever watch a show/read a book/consume media and think something like "what if this happened" and actually take a second to try and make up a vague and badly thought out alternative plot that you forgot about an hour later?
My first "fanfic" was an attempt of a picture book with the iCarly characters but all younger, with Carly, Sam and Freddie all my age at the time (7 years old). I don't remember anything plot-wise, I just remember being so mad that there was nothing on TV I wanted to watch where the important characters were my age.
My first fanfiction was based on Disney’s Gargoyles and was a description of the environment of gargoyles prior to human constructions in the British Isles. Basically, assuming they were effectively magical humanoid creatures descended from pterosaurs instead of mammalian ancestry. I was a very strange child obsessed with dinosaurs and magical creatures so it makes sense. Edit: it was a mess, very blandly written and full of drawings, but that’s pretty much what it is. World building long before I knew what that was as a concept. I can’t remember having made it but my mom kept it and I am honestly impressed I came up with something like that so young.
I got a similar-ish one where it's a bit of a crossover between Owl House & Gargoyles about Luz & Amity's daughter, Azura, that explained how Gargoyles were originally types of golems created/invented by Merlin through Construction Magic, who was a bit of a Jack-Of-All-Trades Witch when it came to Covens. Oh, & he was related to the Clawthornes since: 1. his name's got "Lin" suffix like most if not all of the family's names. I.E: Evelyn, Gwendolyn, Edalyn 2. There's a lot of suggestions to what his name could actually mean, but some suggest it comes from "Merle", which is French for "Blackbird", which makes me think about how all of the Clawthornes have a bird motif: Both Evelyn & Dell got their Cardinal's, Gwendolyn's got a Hawk/Falcon, Eda's got a Owl, & Lilith has a Raven/Crow. 3. According to the legend of Merlin, he's a cambion, the offspring of a incubus, succubus, or any kind of demon & human. This could translate to him being the son of both a human & someone from the Demon Realm like either Dell or Gwendolyn. Of course, I also had an idea for a crossover between Owl House & American Dragon about Azura where she gets lost in New York, discovers that the city allows her to perform magic thanks to many a magical creature residing there, ,becomes a vigilante hero known as Wild Card, & has a love triangle thing going on with both Rose & Jake in which she's bisexual (Like mother, like daughter I guess) & is in love with both of them since I imagine she has two hands & lots of love.
I've never written a fanfiction before, but ever since the idea came to me in a dream I've been dead-set on writing a Street Fighter and Sailor Moon crossover fic.
My very first fanfiction was "Mystery Dungeon: Team Rocket Edition" It started with Jessie, James, and Meowth blasting off again. I don't remember if Meowth tagged along for the main plot or not... I think he did? Anyway, Mystery Dungeon formula ensues with Jessie and James waking up as Pokemon. James was a Growlithe (with the stray hair) and Jessie was a shiny Dratini. They all went through some harrowing quest I can't even remember it was so exciting, but I do know it ended on a snowy mountain. James evolved into an Arcanine and Jessie into a Dragonair along the way. I think there was an avalanche, and Arcticuno saves them(?) Or maybe Mew. They find Mew, which had been the main objective the story was leading up to. I swear it made some logical sense or at least it did at the time, but I don't remember how point A and B were connected. Mew talks to Jessie and explains she is actually Miyamoto, her long lost mother, and she is proud of her daughter. She thanks James for looking out for and being a good friend to Jessie and asks him to continue to always look out for her little girl. J and J obviously turn back human, but not before the tearful parting of ways as Miyamoto can't come with them. I was heavyhanded that she was atoning as a Pokemon for things she did as a human and was in fact dead. I don't remember the take away that well. Life is short? Take care of one another? I don't know, I was 12 and it was deep. /s My mom edited it, and in retrospect she made it worse. I have since slowly come to realize my mom can only write business documents. If I ever find it, I'll rewrite it. Lost almost all my art and writing in a flood though.
I wrote and posted my first fanfic when I was 12, and it was a kidnapping au for a band I was obsessed with 😭Worst/funniest part was that it ended up becoming wildly popular for like a year with over 200k reads and a loyal following
I wrote a self-insert Rainbow Magic fanfiction when I was about 6. I don't remember what happened but I do remember I made it look just like the books, with the rainbow with the chapter number in it at the top, chapter title and illustration. I also made a lot of self-insert Rainbow Magic art since I was really into the idea of temporarily becoming a fairy like the main characters of the books. Times were simpler before I discovered shame
My very first “fanfic” was if the game Temple Run had a tv series. I imagined each episode as one off adventures in the ruins, traversing dangerous terrain, avoiding the monsters of the jungle, and collecting artifacts. It would not only feature Guy Dangerous, (the person you play as in the game) but the other playable characters such as Scarlett, Barry, and Karma would join him on his adventures (the other playable characters). I never wrote anything down and just let the idea stew in my brain. 12 years or so go by and the idea starts to evolve, the characters change to be originals, new locations get added, I get influenced by the cartoons of the time, Adventure Time, Regular Show, Steven Universe. Cut to today, the idea of a temple run series become my ocs with an original story. It’s really bizarre looking back on it now, as my new story has very little in common with that game
It was a miraculous ladybug comic that still haunts me to this day... In the fic they literally beat hawkmoth, and then he says "I'm sorry I promise I won't do it again" and they let him GO 😭
Whhooooooaaaaaahh this just unlocked quite the repressed memory right there. Back when Hetalia was the craze (I was 13 at the time), my friend and I would each write self insert fanfic about that show. We would only show each other our fics, and mine was bat-sh*t insane. In my fic, me and my friend were both in college. I was in a super advanced science major (friend was in art major lol), and for my major I needed to do a «personnal science project» for my last year. So I decided to bring to life the various Hetalia characters in my dorm room, by building humanoid cyborgs using robotic skeletons and pig flesh. I would keep them in those cryogenic tube chambers at night, and let them out and about in my room at day (yeah, I overestimated how big dormrooms really are back then.) When they were ready, I presented them to my friend, who freaked out of course. One day, I left my friend in charge of the cyborgs while I was out. She took good care of them, put them back in their cryogenic tubes and left for the night. However, she forgot to lock the tubes. The next morning, I came back to find all of the characters out in my room, which wasn't too bad, but the *secret dark tubes* were also empty, and their occupants were nowhere to be found. Those tubes countains the 2P characters (2P stands for Second Personnality (I don't know who started this, but in the fandom every character had a 2P, which would be the opposite of their personnality (think of Jack the Killer-ish creepypastas) and I was obssesed with them)). I explained to my friend that the 2Ps were my unsuccesful first attempt at making the pig-flesh cyborgs and they were really dangerous. Suddenly, the entire college just shut down, trapping everyone inside. So, my friend, the mains Hetalia characters and I had to team up to find the 2Ps somewhere hidden in the dark and misty hallways before they went on a killing spree. My friend and I had a falling out, which prompted me to erased her name from the fic and replace her with my sister (who couldn't care less about all this.) I never finished the fic and lost interest in Hetalia not long after. To this day, this is the only fic I have ever only written, as I am not really on this part of the Internet. TL;DR : I wrote a self-insert fanfic about me building the Hetalia characters out of robot skeletons ans pig flesh and teaming-up with them to defeat their evil counterparts. Good times.
Here's a few I remember. Me and my childhood friend Alyssa would write about an array of fandoms we were in and just combine all of them. A more personal one (which might've been my childhood maladaptive daydreaming) was me extensively and vividly imagining the entire BFDI cast accompanying me in my life everyday. That lasted for a few months.
I don't remember exactly what was my first fanfic idea, since I was a young child when I started making up fake scenarios without knowing what fanfic was. But one of my earliest that I do remember was about me being a Jedi, becoming besties with Anakin, and I also had a little brother named Ryan (I'm an only child and have no siblings irl btw). I remember for the prologue that I made up for me and Ryan was that our parents got killed off, and so we lived in a treehouse in the forest of Naboo, until Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi found us and decided to take us with them on their mission (time set during The Phantom Menace). The plot followed The Phantom Menace's plot, and at the end, Ryan and I stayed with the Jedi and we were trained to become one of them. Of course, I made up some... silly missions that made absolutely no sense, but kid me didn't care. Of course, when Anakin became Darth Vader, we pretty much "hidden" ourselves by becoming singers. (Yes, I turned Star Wars into a musical with a bunch of songs I used to listen to). We became pretty popular in the galaxy that most of the Empire didn't even tried to kill us off. We did this until we found ourselves in the Death Star where we met Luke, Han, and Chewie. (I changed this whole part a lot, so I don't really remember how it originally happened, so just go with it). The rest remained the same for the Original Trilogy, until at the end of ROTJ where Ryan and I performed during the party with the Ewoks and the Rebels, celebrating the galaxy's freedom from Palpatine. I still do fake scenarios about Star Wars time to time, but they're much more different now compared from kid me versions.
While I have never written a fanfic, I did have one in my head that was a crossover between Star Wars and Independence Day for some reason, but what that slowly spiraled into is something far more fanfic-y and convoluted and cringe that I love it.
Oh god I remember.. when I was like 7 I went to a movie theater for the first time to see Monsters University. After that, I spent my nights thinking about a sequel to Monsters Inc that was a continuation of University. All the college friends come to MI and get jobs, they're all living together again, babysitting Boo on the weekends, Mike and his gf have kids, etc. I wish I had written any of it down or kept any old drawings. Instead of writing I would pretend to read it to myself aloud in bed at night
I don’t have this written down anywhere but my first fanfic was for this web series I really liked called Spellmania. It was sadly cancelled after three episodes so I felt drained of story, especially since it unceremoniously left on a cliffhanger, as well as a ton of characters who just, weren’t developed. This caused me to start writing in my head and I eventually came up with this: For some background info, Solo is the name of one of the villains (and my fav character) who was knew to the world and was very naive. This allowed our main villain to easily trick Solo into being a bad person by playing into his belief that the world was just a big game. I decided to go off of the idea that Solo would eventually learn that the world isn’t a game and that his actions have consequences, and seeing how he would react to such a large blow to his perception of life itself. It was an ultimately wholesome fic where Solo gradually loses his grip on reality until he goes full insane and kinda just runs away from everyone, where he, in some twisted attempt at punishing himself for being a bad person, would mutilate himself to the brink of death and cause every waking second of his life to be agonizing, until eventually being found by two of our main hero characters where the story becomes more wholesome as Solo recovers from his trauma and returns back to society. Should I write this down? It’s kind of just a conceptual thing right now but I would love to hear what others think of the concept.
I refer to this version of the character as “Punished Solo” and he might’ve been the spark of light that caused me to just love shy characters that make you want to put them in your pocket for safe keeping.
Me and my younger sister created our own multi arc warrior cats story with our own characters and clan. I have never read this series, but honestly for something made by two tweens it wasn’t too bad and I’ve reused a couple ideas from it in my more recent writing.
Technically speaking my very first fanfiction ever was probably something to do with care bears when I was little. I used to love coming up with stories and I'm sure I made at least one featuring them
earliest one i remember is basically a harry potter self insert, as Hagrid's kid. i mostly played out this story with my legos, and as a result, the villain ended up being someone who appeared differently to everyone who saw them, and i would swap out parts so theyd be "the most attractive" to whichever character they were talking to. its "true form" used one of those jack-o-lantern heads
Mine was basically "what if every piece of media youve consumed is happening at the same time and it revolves around your Miitopia party", but long before then I'd been making up stories with my Sonic and Power Rangers OCs
Most of mine were imagining nonhuman fantasy characters getting sent to other fantasy worlds where it’s just like humans and maybe elves and that’s it. Like you throw an Argonian Last Dragonborn into Eragon world and offset the fact that everyone thinks he’s a horrible lizard monster with the fact that he’s an unstoppable demigod.
So, it was an alternate universe dic where Stella was nice and basically Stolas, Blitzø, and Stella, all met as kids, and are trying to stop the arranged marriage between Stolas and Stella
a few weeks after fnaf 2 came out, i became obsessed and made a self insert animatronic called "moonlight". she was a pink wolf with long blue-purple gradient hair who could come out of her 'skin' and turn into a mess of animatronic parts (think mangle). i made a comic about her in which she killed all the animatronics and blamed it on foxy (who was an alcoholic??), i never finished it but i still read it sometimes. it's beautiful.
help i once made one where Applejack got sick of being a background pony so she rewrite the whole plot and became the fully main character plus me and all my fav character living together
I was 8 and made a pokemonXZelda fanfiction, and now almost 20, and I still go back to it when I'm feeling down. It's my coping mechanism. Basically the new region Hyrisk has recently completed a civil war, were main protagonist Ash, is invited by Professor Deku to explore the region alongsider Her daughter Aura, and Link. Hyjinx insue with a story in simular plot to the twight princess manga, as minda pretends to be a member of the groups pokemon. Plot twist, the professor is missing, and Aura and Link are the only ones that can find her. While looking for the 2nd gym they come across Sheik, who becomes the groups 4th member. Will our heroes be able to defeat the other worldly threat. Also Link was raised by Gannondorf, and relatively he isn't much of a villain as I needed a another gym leader for the plot. It is fun, but I know it's cringe.
I don’t write but I wrote a story as an assignment in elementary school, it was basically a powerpuff girls ripoff with magical girl cliches. I made up a lot of stories in my head but never wrote them down, I remember some of them, but some were self-inserts and others were just things I wanted to happen in whatever show, movie, or video game I was into at the time.
In middle school I made a My Little Pony/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover comic book thing. There wasn’t any dialogue, it was just a bunch of illustrations with a vaguely linear story. Then one day a classmate I had a crush on saw it and I was so embarrassed threw it all in the garbage.
I made an ENTIRE AU of the lego movie 2 when I was 9. It was set in the future and Lucy and Emmet had a daughter who was a fluttershy type personality but with main character syndrome sprinkled in and one of her best friend was a hybrid of a crystal vampire and a purple alien (don’t ask why) and they would get up to goofy shenanigans. It was cringe but hey I had fun.
my very first fanfic i thought of was when i was 8. it was warrior cats. it mostly revolved around my OCs, Treeleaf (medicine cat), Tangletail (recent elder), and Moonglow (deputy). there was actually some deeper plot in it but don't ask me to remember all that, i never wrote it down. i drew the cats at some point though.
Warrior Cats fanfic where the mc was a lion who was adopted by the clans. I wrote it. Pretty much the entire plot happened in the first chapter. Actually scratch that, I think the first ever “fanfic” I ever thought up was with my friend while we were mutually in the mlp fandom, where there were these two sisters who were basically just Celestia and Luna but like way way older who ruled over a kingdom of lots of different creatures before it fell apart and ripoff Luna ended up in the everfree forest and also there was a war that happened both before and after the mlp show happened??? Time travel may have been involved I don’t really remember it lmao
The first thing I ever wrote was a short story about Garfield beating up some characters from warrior cats, I have never actually read the series, and I had to get my brother to help out with it.
I would say the same thing as the last person in this video, but then I realized that the first "fanfiction" I came up with involves characters and context that basically none of you would recognize. So I'll just say it was me imagining if two characters hadn't broken up.
Not really a 'fanfiction' per se, but when i was a kid i would daydream about wild crossovers with all the characters from my favourite games/shows/etc hanging out together and getting into shenanigans. I still do it to this day tbh
I attempted to write two different skylanders isekai fics. One was about a girl who turned into a dragon, and the other was about 6 kids trying to get home (one of the kids was secretly royalty in skylands and had to stay lol)
I only got into fan fiction recently, and because I can't remember any from my childhood, I suppose my first actual fanfiction was 15 parts of JJBA with too many original stands that I never wrote down
I wrote a murder mystery with Batman and Master Chief as detectives trying to solve the murder of Jak and Daxter. They questioned several characters about their alibis, possible motives, etc. I remember Luigi, Pikachu, Master Oogway and Chester the Cheetah were all possible suspects, along with a few others. In the end, it turned out that Ryu from Street Fighter stabbed Jak and Daxter with a machete because he was possessed by one of the ghosts from Pac-Man. I don't entirely remember how it ended, but I think Master Chief kicked him off a roof.
Sci-fi futuristic Cookie Run Kingdom AU. I was obsessed with sci-fi and Cookie Run Kingdom at the time, so I had sooo many ideas how to replace the magic system with science-y stuff. I made Custard Cookie III into a healing chemist, and Strawberry Cookie having her lollipop turn into a mace (mostly just because I really like maces). I then started writing it, but I never finished it and it never saw the light of day. I should actually rewrite it, because that's a really cool concept. Although, I think the very FIRST fanfic that I thought of, and didn't have the word for and didn't write, was either a modern Harry Potter AU scenario, or a BATIM pre-canon comic I drew (which was ATROCIOUS).
The oldest one that I remember, but didn’t post Fanfic of, was Aria, my Ever After High Oc and one of my oldest Ocs. She started out as a Sister of Cerise Hood and Ramona Badwolf, was this generic kind girl with a temper, and didn’t have a set Story Arc (heck, one story was an almost word for word retelling of Equestria Girls with swapped characters), but I managed to rewrite her to the Daughter of Sarah from the ‘Three Spinners’ Fairytale.
When I was in pre-k (so about 4/5), during playtime I would find a vaguely airplane shaped block, and spin around while pretending the peppa pig family was on that plane and having whole conversations and shit. I don't remember what they talked about but I blame that for my love of writing dialogue
The first actual fanfic I WROTE tho, was a Draco malfoy X Hufflepuff girl. At first it was me, but then I created this girl called Aria, and then I replaced Draco with Zack, and thus I created my first OCs!!
My first fanfic was an MLP one where Trixie used a powerful magical artifact to travel back in time to prevent the Sonic Rainboom from happening, so Twilight Sparkle would have never ruined her career, which led to a dystopian timeline. This was long before the season 5 finale, where another antagonist had an almost identical scheme with similarly disastrous results.
Oh that's actually epic??? This comment alone makes me want to rewatch that series (and relieve my childhood). If I knew what fanfiction was at 4th grade, I would have loved that (I knew the comics existed at the time --- I had a few, but I never would've imagined there were sites people posted fan stories on for FREE.)
Probably would be my Warrior Cats knockoff series I started. It was Warriors but I changed a few details here and there to make it more "original", like calling the Clans "Packs" and making the leaders have the second half of their name as the clan's name. EG, Pinecloud leader of Cloud Pack. It was also a musical and I wrote songs for it. I was 9 btw. -Sai
Ooh, okay... My first fanfiction was a little comic about Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team, and funnily enough, none of the characters were self inserts. They were based off the Partner Pokémon I picked in-game, and I wrote based off the interactions in-game as well. It didn't last long as my younger sister trashed the comic I had made, which is disappointing because I do look back on it fondly as it has sparked my love for comic-making. It was probably really bad though, but I'll never know at this point lol
I also made a comic about mystery dungeon. It was more of a comic strip style about a squirtle, charmander, and bulbasaur called “Team Awesome”. Of course, it’s cringe, but I still look fondly back at it.
Mine was a skydoesminecraft vs. squids fic back in like 2015. I still look back on it fondly. 90% of it is objectively cringe material, but there are some parts where I genuinely wrote well, and it just generally holds a special place in my heart. Edit: I forgot that I straight up inserted my best friend in this story "my immortal" style.
All of these have been created. For writting alone, it would be skits using characters from Project Arrhythmia, a video game. I wrote 5 on a school labtop & pulled the actual dialouge from out of nowhere, no memes, audio or whatever. I soon returned to the doc to create more. There's 12 of them on the document. (2021) If drawing counts, then my Geometry Dash comics would be my first fanfic. The first bunch was were drawn in class, indoor recess, so it was likely winter at the time. I used these huge papers & yes... It was a self insert. Like, me, as the icon I use in Geometry Dash, talking to famous players. The next bunch were of just players or streamers alone, I thought of these as the ultimate GD comics bc I couldn't see how bad it actually looked. (2020) In terms of fully written fanfic, then it would be a short Project Arrhythmia fic where someone teleports into a lake that was originally a comic I wrote. (2021) I had a fun ride with all three.
Mine was the Fudge Books (Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, Superfudge, and sequels) told from the POV of Fudge's pet bird. It's actually published on iBooks because I was 7 and didn't know fanfiction sites existed.
I had a self-insert Harry Potter OC that was basically a Mary Sue and was HP's twin. I recycled her concept and she is now an alchemist witch-hunter with her half-elf gf (who also started as an Harry Potter OC) She didn't do much, I just imagined dialogue for her in various scenes of the actual series
oh hey, i had an oc that was harry's twin too! i also had a marauders era oc that was sirius's twin, my only siblings are 15 and 16 years older than me so i was always fascinated by the concept of twins because having siblings close enough in age that you can form meaningful relationships with them beyond once-in-a-blue-moon texts was near incomprehensible to me
I’m a month late here but my first fanfic is a crazy crossover between Splatoon 2 Octo expansion and the 2003 Crystal Dynamics game Whiplash with Agent 8 taking the role as Spanx the weasel and being handcuffed and chained to Agent 3 taking the role of Redmond as they attempt to escape their unwilling lives as test subjects of Kamabo ( which involves 8 using 3 as a war mace via the chain ). Im still working on finishing it whenever I get free time and ideas for stuff. I’m also working on a Persona 5 Royal x Splatoon fanfic where everything is mostly the same except for Joker being an octoling and being adopted by Sojiro. I’m proud of this madness I’ve made.
My first fic was for The Penguins of Madagascar. The zoo gets a female lemur and she basically just shows up and takes over the entire zoo because she's a boss bitch. Oh, King Julian falls in love with her, too, and wants her to be his queen. I was maybe 9 years old when I came up with this. I have no clue why I came up with it and even less clue why I actually wrote it down. Sadly I don't have that notebook anymore, because I would love to look back on it and cringe/laugh.
(I don’t remember this but my dad has told me the story several times, lol.) When I was around 4, I was playing with my dad’s Dracula figure set while he worked. I was being quiet until I looked over at him and asked “can a man love another man?” My dad said yes they can, and I say “Reinfield LOOOOOVES Dracula” and then proceed to make them go on a date xD (Edited to add: btw for anyone who doesn’t know, Reinfield [hope I spelled it right] is Dracula’s assistant in the original novel)
This made me remember the Monster High I guess technically Fanfic that I wrote in 7th grade. It was inspired by the original books. I wrote it on google docs and the chapters would be written from various characters POV and instead of writing their name at the top of the chapter I just changed fonts. So the story had like ten different fonts.
That’s actually pretty interesting, that sound cool to read, though I’m pretty sure most fanfic sites only use one font, so unfortunately it couldn’t work. Out of curiosity, what fonts did you use each character?
When I was in first grade, I wrote a fan episode of Dora the Explorer where she decided to go explore without Boots, Backpack, and Map; she went into the woods and immediately got lost and was eaten by bears and wolves. *First. Grade.*
That is super hard to say... as toddler I constantly made up stories about me, going on adventures with Disney characters. But I couldn't write then. The first I had written was in late second or in third grade: A female version of Disney's 3 little pigs, named Chief, Dumbly and Dolly lived in the forest with their weasel foster mom. Then they found a tiny little piglet baby left at their door steps and adopted it too. Yeah, I took a lot from Alvin and the Chipmunks here. And then there was a tragic romance about Don Canarge and the ghost of Marie Antoinette. She was sent to make him a better man and so in love, but he just used her powers to win at gambling and to get out of trouble, but didn't care for her, with a broken heart, she was called back into the afterlife world. I stole a lot of my ideas here from All Dogs go to Heaven. But this story I never wrote down - too long and too sad. Well, I was an little 80s kid. ...
oooooh this awakened one of my deepest memories!!! When I was 6 or 7 I had a weird obsession with being lost at sea, and another weird obsession with the Magic Tree House book series, so naturally I created this incredibly detailed universe in which I and a handful of characters from the Magic Tree House series were shipwrecked somehow and we built this elaborate raft that absolutely does not work under any laws of physics or logic. I was so genuinely into it, I mean, I made multiple Play-Doh models of the Raft™️ and thought about it all the time. I never developed the story past the first day or two of being lost at sea because it was so precious to me lol. I remember describing the layout and features of the raft to myself over and over, particularly the fruit bowl I had on the entire table on the lower level (yes, the basement of the raft). I could never tell you what the fruit bowl had in it NOW, but back then I knew exactly what fruits there were and how MANY of them there were… something like 2 bananas, 3 oranges, and 12 grapes. I was a freaky child (or maybe just autistic). Best part is that I was a then-undiscovered bi girl so the entire scenario ended up being a sort of Kathleen x me thing. Oh boy. Wow, what a trip down lore lane this was. I’d totally forgotten about The Raft™️ 😭😭😭
My very first fanfiction is a three-part Jonas Brothers one I did in middle school. I've written many, many fanfictions, since then, but that one will always give me flashbacks. 😂 It's actually hidden away in my old story notebook that I don't let anyone else look at.
I have a WHOLE FANFICTION CONCEPT that has gone unwritten. Referred to as _Peter Griffin and the Holy Steam Deck,_ it’s a crossover that basically involves Peter from Family Guy teaming up with a bunch of other cartoon characters to gather pieces of a Valve Steam Deck that has some sort of mystic power and defeat some kind of evil force.
The first fanfic I ever wrote was before I knew what fan fiction even was. It was when I was six, and I still have it written today- despite it being one page of a notebook. Its a Good Luck Charlie that I named Bad Luck Charlie, no clue why but it’s hilarious to read.
I’m working on it right now, it’s a doors fanfic about Ambush sneaking into the mines before the update was released though before this I liked to think about a Doors Warrior Cats crossover fanfic that was so bad it doesn’t deserve to be mentioned
When I was around 12 (I don't think I'd even heard the term "FanFiction" yet), I invented an OC to go on adventures with various DC and MARVEL superheroes, as I'd been getting more into those comics at the time, and their initial design very much reflected that. I'd say that's where my story making journey truly began. That OC has gone through a notable redesign, but I simply don't have a good story to put them in. On the bright side, I have plenty more characters to choose from these days
I wrote an original Thomas the Tank Engine story, Looking back it wasn’t actively bad, but rather HIT era quality writing. the most unintentionally comedic part was that Percy could hear the narrator talking, & it drove him mad that no else could hear them talking. I still have the script, & I read it for a youtube video on a $20 dare. I might end up rewriting it now since i’m establishing my own more serious series of Thomas stories.
As a kid, I really liked the 1980s MLP for some reason and I wrote this one fanfic based on the first special ever released, Rescue at Midnight Castle. Basically, the plot of the special is some ponies get captured and turned into dragons so this guy named Tirac can ride his chariot of midnight. In it, two of the ponies who were captured, Cotton Candy and Moondancer, escaped. They were like best friends and somewhat shipped together, although I didn’t know how to write romance. Then they rescued, Ember, a baby pony captured. My plan was for Megan, the human girl protagonist and her pony allies to get captured and Cotton Candy and Moondancer would save them, but I never finished it. Also, it switched between Moondancer and Cotton Candy’s pov, even through they were together the whole time. Moondancer was also OP and could preform like three types of unrelated magic, despite in canon each pony can only have one type. Also, it contained these line highlights "But just then I saw some peculiar creatures. They looked like ponies except for the fact that had a body hard to explain" “There was once a evil centaur who lived in a place called Midnight Castle . The evil centaur wanted eternal night for whatever reason. As far as I know it was for no reason at all.”
my first fanfiction was a warrior cats oc fic where the main oc was a mary sue for half the chapters because omg she was a kit that was the child of all 4 clans and was insanely strong and survived an entire forest fire that killed everyone but that one kid and somehow convinced a bunch of twolegs to give her seeds to regrow the forest(like, normal seeds like the type you'd plant to grow fruit) and then it was basically just a dumpster fire of "overpowered mary sue oc leads over whole forest and is feared by all due to strength" or something to that effect. there was also something called warwind where people were just unnecessarily violent for no reason and for some reason kits and apprentices were there too. the fic got SLIGHTLY better at time went on but it was still awful because then i stopped spacing my paragraphs and had too many random cats and there was more random violence and at one point a kittypet stole some prey from the main clan and then was offered to join the clan but yeah wrote that train wreck when i was 10. good times
I started a Jurassic Park fanfic when I was 12. It followed a self insert child of Alan Grant, my favorite character. The two of them were in a small group of survivors because dinosaurs had escaped across the world. While on a scavenging trip, the group ran into a Giganotosaurus before I lost interest and stopped writing. So yeah, I basically came up with Jurassic World: Dominion before the Jurassic World movies even came out.
a few years back when i was like 7-8 ish i was into hermitcraft (season 6 btw) and i had this oc that was...mines and grians DAUGHTER. and i would imagine stories with her and her friends which were also kids of the other members of the server thankfully i never wrote anything down about it-
Oh god, I come up with ideas that swerve away from canon in a violent way, a lot. The first one (I think?) was basically a self-insert thing with Pokemon Sun and Moon. The self-inserts cool thing was that she had a seat that could fly b/c of balloons. (Me and my friend played a lot of Pokemon Eevee at the time. So in addition as well as the stolen idea from the game she had a Eevee.) I never truly settled on a design for her, shame.
My first fanfiction was a fanfic where monika from ddlc somehow climbed out a monitor into the real world to be with the mc, its not really that interesting but there was another "fanfic" i made when i first got into jjba where giorno would somehow come to the world of mlp equestria girls and the only thing i remember from it is this one scene giorno somehow got possesed by dio and went full evil vampire mode and the main 6 (7?) Had to fight dio. Everytime i question why someone would make an absurd crossover like this one i remember this "fanfic" and remember that oh yeah *i am not free from sin*
It was more of an autobiography about my experience during the Animal Jam Duck Raid, but with enough elements to make it pretty much a self-insert fanfic.
Mine was about this obscure anime called "nagi no asukara" or "a lull in the sea" where I was super into this one guy called Tsumugu, so I just wrote myself a self-insert where I was one of the fish people and Chisaki's (his actual love-interest bc i still loved her i just loved him more) best friend. It was completely mary sue and I am very glad that i was too shy to publish it, but i'm glad i wrote it bc it made me happy lmao
I would commonly shove myself into my favourite shows in my head, but my first fully fleshed-out fanfiction that I finished was an ESMP fanfiction. It’s still up, and STILL gets read by people. Seriously, I should probably rewrite that. Eventually.
I can't tell what ESMP would really stand for, but my brain immediately thought of EmpiresSMP. I'm just putting this out there in case I'm right, and if so, that's sick asf.
The first fanfiction I ever wrote was an Animal Jam fanfiction about the phantoms invading the real world or something like that. I don't remember completely, because I wrote this when I was like, what, eight?? And it was only like three pages. I wrote it in a Cinderella notebook which I used primarily for art. I lost the notebook :[
The first fanfic I wrote is a Zelda fic where Majora and Hylia are twin goddesses and it’s about Skull Kid and Zelda figuring out their history (It’s unfinished due to lack of motivation and writer’s block)
I was obsessed with Monster High when it came out (I was around 8 y/o at the time) so I made an OC (I still remember her, she made of lightning and her name was Elektra) and I just made very poorly drawn comics about her shenanigans at the school. I remember that there was this plotline where the ghouls had to help her cuz she touched one of Frankie's neck bolts and because she was pure electricity, she got sucked in and ended up sharing body with Frankie. I never finished that storyline because I lost the notebook I was drawing it when we moved out of that house when i was 10 o(-(
I went through a long phase as a young teen where every piece of media I consumed involved characters getting fire lizards from Dragonriders of Pern. Star Trek, LOTR, and others.
I think the first fanfic that I wrote out (I don't remember any before this) was a Miraculous Ladybug fanfic where Adrien had been born a girl, but still transformed into a male Chat Noir. I was in freshman year of college. And I figured out several years later that I'm a trans guy so... 🤷♂️ I still write on the concept. It's extremely fragmentary. I have a fic that's a faithful recreation of the first episode or two of ML (y'know, the one that aired as the 26th episode or something?), I have a fic which uses the song "She Used To Be Mine" as a framing device which I kinda abandoned, and I have a couple of (aged up) fics that are _supposed_ to be NSFW, but basically just wind up being "Chat's self-loathing internal monologue trying to figure out why he isn't hanging out with Marinette as Adrianna- she likes Adrianna better dammit! Why do I hate being around people as Adrianna? You're such an asshole!" fics. Basically the collection of fics are just ways for me to explore being trans, being the subject of emotional/verbal child abuse, how those things interact, and about my fears of people liking girl-me better than boy-me. It's nice to get out of the whole "you're faking [x] experience" mindset and go, "okay. Chat has [x] experience but thinks he's faking it. What does that look like?"
before iots i had a violent a bloody tdi fanfic where a monster would hunt down every camper and could also impersonate them. the monster was really overpowered and actually the game got up to where episode 15 was in the first season before chaos broke loose. this was probably me expressing the more… darker side of my interests.
I wrote my first when I was deeply depressed and it was just a selfinsert character being taken care of by teenage Remus Lupin. I think I still have it somewhere... 😅
When I was a very small child, I was obsessed with The Wizard of Oz (the movie) and my sister (11.5 years my senior) was obsessed with Wicked (mostly the musical, though she also read the book). My sister would draw a map of Oz in our driveway with chalk and we'd bust out those surprisingly high-quality Wizard of Oz McDonalds Happy Meal toys and play out extracanonical scenarios in Oz. Really the only thing I remember was that I had Glinda give Dorothy witch powers and name her the Good Witch of the South because it bothered me that the other three cardinal directions had witches and the South didn't.
It was a Wings of Fire fanfic (That I at the time called a 'book'), called Darkstalker's Return. About a Skywing and an Icewing that were.. siblings somehow, went to Jade Mountain academy, and such. The Icewing eventually turned evil, and tried stealing animus magic, but was able to be stopped by Darkstalker's scroll despite at the time I'm fairly sure that thing was destroyed,
my first written fic was a pokemon fic called “eevee and the amulet of life” that i wrote in 4th grade. i haven’t read it in a while but i remember it being really bad lol. it’s basically about an eevee becoming old enough to explore the world on her own and at some point she finds this powerful necklace called the amulet of life. i was super passionate about and even wanted to turn it into a movie one day?? but yea it was really bad and the things i ended up writing were not relevant to the actual plot whatsoever but an even BETTER (way worse) one is in 6th grade i came up with a ready player one fanfic in my head where parzival and art3mis have a baby named alex and alex has magical powers and stuff. and also aech becomes evil in it and tries to kill alex and almost succeeds??? it’s a whole mess but i loved it so much back then and it shaped who i am as a person lmao honestly i have so many other “almost-fanfics” that i’ve come up with over the years. heck, the original story im working on right now used to be an AMONG US AU of all things. despite how cringe a lot of these stories are i look back on them fondly
Mine was about Ruby and Sapphire getting into an argument and Ruby storming off somewhere. When Sapphire told Steven, they both assumed that means that they're divorced now and Steven immediately got over it and was like "ok i'll help you get a new wife"
WHAT?!
okay i initially thought you meant the POKEMON GAMES
NOT WHATEVER THAT IS-
why did i imagine kyogre just flying over to some dude with white hair to tell him about The Divorce
you were SO close to just predicting the show
@@amia7z Exactly!!!

When i was like 4 years old i wrote a VERY short premise for a fake MLP episode where Celestia became queen. I just thought it was weird in my little child brain that there was a CLEAR power imbalance yet she and Luna shared the same title.
Found out recently that that was the original intention for the character but got scrapped because queens in the MLP universe were always evil and it might confuse children, so its very funny to me that their final changed version is what actually confused me as a child.
genuinely forgot celestia was a princess and not a queen
One of my first fanfic ideas was for an ATLA AU where Toph never invented metalbending and was sent back to her parents. This story would have been 10 chapters long and narrated from Toph's perspective. It would have ended with Toph killing her parents as an act of revenge and running off to find her friends only for the story to end on a cliffhanger. I tried writing it down once, but deleted it because it was too messy. The idea still exists, but it is unlikely that the fanfiction will ever be posted.
sounds really cool actually, although i don't think she'd end up killing her parents
I was obsessed with both Warrior Cats and Transformers Animated as a kid, and when I was twelve I wrote a story that was basically "what if there was secretly a group of transformers on another planet that were basically giant robot cats that lived in a society identical to the Clans in Warrior Cats, and a group of them crash landed on Earth for some reason and they became friends with the Autobots???" all I remember from that story was that 1) I wrote all of it on my iPod Touch's notes app, which had no spell check and no formatting options (and I copy-pasted it directly to the WC forums without editing ANYTHING), and 2) I straight-up ripped off Feathertail's death at the end of my fic because I thought "well, if it was heart-breaking in Warriors, it'll be heart-breaking in my story too!!!"
weird to think back on those days now, but it's what got me into writing which is still one of my biggest passions to this day.

Honestly that sounds like an interesting fanfic actually (coming from someone who’s favorite male companion of Ash was Cilan)
@@moonbased7796 True!! (Fr, Cilan best male companion.)
@@moonbased7796I agree. Truth is, I've considered rewriting it, but have yet to get to it.
This is absolutely glorious

The very first "fan fiction" I wrote was for a creative writing class in 7th grade, it was a fan fiction about a young guy falling in love with a McDonald's employee. It was straight ass, and was totally satirical, and of course I told my friends about it, but it somehow spiraled out of my grasp and a bunch of people I didn't even know knew about it. Hell, this girl I know in highschool now, that I never knew beforehand, knew about this story I wrote because one of my friends I shared the story with went to her youth group. I will never be able to live this story down.
wait but i would read that. it sounds fun
@@Churro0 No you wouldn't, it was so badly written. I would love to rewrite it now, though.
@@LemonnNote DO IT

Mine was a Pokemon self-insert fic. I was a girl named ‘Yuri’, I used the Japanese names, and it was set in a *new* region and it was basically a reskinned sun and moon. So, Yuri and Ash were childhood friends and now they were going to the same school. Yep. It’s just Sun and Moon all over again.
That sounds epic honestly
Project moon mentioned ;)
My very first written fan-fiction not posted was of my dog in Mrs Perguine’s home for peculiar children. She was a flying wiener dog who lived with the peculiar children. I saw the movie and read the book as it was handed to me in fourth grade or third grade and so that’s how it was born my fanfic writing hobby.
That sounds adorable
Was the dog part of the menagerie in the second book, or did she just exist for no reason lol
@@rosykindbunny1313 I don’t know lol I only red the first book and the second one and just put my dog in there randomly.
For a moment i thought that you meant that your dog was a flying sausage from Vienna.
i wanna read that fanfic
This reminds me of my OC's habit of kidnapping their blorbos and showing them The Horrors while showering them in gifts.
Also, at that point, I had migrated to Wattpad.
do you know how that classmate is doing now
@@nohintshere No. We haven’t had contact in almost 5 years.
thats crazy/nm
The riddle school guy ended up being a pedo??????
I tried reading it for a bit and even as a kid/teen i felt uncomfortable with the female lead being 17
@MustardToob oh yeah, I saw it in my school library and was like, NOPE, not reading that. but WOW, 17??? when there's sexual plotlines? and like, kidnapping? damn, that's just wrong... if even kid you can see it, you know the author made a bad choice there 😭
but literally. that fight was also my least fave thing. Lilly was one of the only Sensible characters tbh!
Im 100% sure I have never written a fanfiction...THE POWER I HOLD IN MY HANDS IS UNIMAGINABLE
I would love to see you rewrite it now.
The concept is interesting.
Oh, & he was related to the Clawthornes since:
1. his name's got "Lin" suffix like most if not all of the family's names. I.E: Evelyn, Gwendolyn, Edalyn
2:37 I believe the ‘Changeling dude’ they’re talking about is Thorax, lol. He’s a friendly Changeling that Spike befriended in Season 6.
I've never written a fanfiction before, but ever since the idea came to me in a dream I've been dead-set on writing a Street Fighter and Sailor Moon crossover fic.
My very first fanfiction was "Mystery Dungeon: Team Rocket Edition"
It started with Jessie, James, and Meowth blasting off again.
My mom edited it, and in retrospect she made it worse.
I HAD A RAINBOW MAGIC FAIRYSONA TOO
Omg I loved Rainbow Magic as a little one!
In 2nd grade I wrote a Harry Potter Fanfiction where Hermione was turned into a cat and had to find a Pokémon evolution stone to turn back
It was a miraculous ladybug comic that still haunts me to this day...
In the fic they literally beat hawkmoth, and then he says "I'm sorry I promise I won't do it again" and they let him GO 😭
tbh there i also used to think he'd get a redemption arc or sm, then he just progressively became more evil
Low-key better than the season 5 finale imo
Shoutout to my older-sibling-PJ-masks AU I created when my younger sister was watching the show, my beloved.
A Splatoon and Pokémon fanfic where Jesse was an octoling that just escaped Octo Valley and James was an inkling taking care of her
THAT SOUNDS HYPE?? I WANT TO READ IT 🗣️🗣️
I don’t have this written down anywhere but my first fanfic was for this web series I really liked called Spellmania. It was sadly cancelled after three episodes so I felt drained of story, especially since it unceremoniously left on a cliffhanger, as well as a ton of characters who just, weren’t developed. This caused me to start writing in my head and I eventually came up with this:
For some background info, Solo is the name of one of the villains (and my fav character) who was knew to the world and was very naive.
So, it was an alternate universe dic where Stella was nice and basically Stolas, Blitzø, and Stella, all met as kids, and are trying to stop the arranged marriage between Stolas and Stella
a few weeks after fnaf 2 came out, i became obsessed and made a self insert animatronic called "moonlight". she was a pink wolf with long blue-purple gradient hair who could come out of her 'skin' and turn into a mess of animatronic parts (think mangle). i made a comic about her in which she killed all the animatronics and blamed it on foxy (who was an alcoholic??), i never finished it but i still read it sometimes. it's beautiful.
help i once made one where Applejack got sick of being a background pony so she rewrite the whole plot and became the fully main character
plus me and all my fav character living together
This sounds like one of those Smash Bros parody animations off of newgrounds
Still working on it, an overly elaborate setup for a self insert Deltarune fan fiction that takes place when me and my friends are in high school.
If I knew what fanfiction was at 4th grade, I would have loved that (I knew the comics existed at the time --- I had a few, but I never would've imagined there were sites people posted fan stories on for FREE.)
i would've read that if i knew abt fanfic back in my mlp phase it sounds sick
If drawing counts, then my Geometry Dash comics would be my first fanfic.
In terms of fully written fanfic, then it would be a short Project Arrhythmia fic where someone teleports into a lake that was originally a comic I wrote. (2021)
I had a fun ride with all three.
I recycled her concept and she is now an alchemist witch-hunter with her half-elf gf (who also started as an Harry Potter OC)
She didn't do much, I just imagined dialogue for her in various scenes of the actual series
oh hey, i had an oc that was harry's twin too! i also had a marauders era oc that was sirius's twin, my only siblings are 15 and 16 years older than me so i was always fascinated by the concept of twins because having siblings close enough in age that you can form meaningful relationships with them beyond once-in-a-blue-moon texts was near incomprehensible to me
I’m a month late here but my first fanfic is a crazy crossover between Splatoon 2 Octo expansion and the 2003 Crystal Dynamics game Whiplash with Agent 8 taking the role as Spanx the weasel and being handcuffed and chained to Agent 3 taking the role of Redmond as they attempt to escape their unwilling lives as test subjects of Kamabo ( which involves 8 using 3 as a war mace via the chain ).
I was being quiet until I looked over at him and asked “can a man love another man?” My dad said yes they can, and I say “Reinfield LOOOOOVES Dracula” and then proceed to make them go on a date xD
(Edited to add: btw for anyone who doesn’t know, Reinfield [hope I spelled it right] is Dracula’s assistant in the original novel)
I’d totally forgotten about The Raft™️ 😭😭😭
for clarification, I did not realize that I was shipping myself with Kathleen. I was just a bit dim
My very first fanfiction is a three-part Jonas Brothers one I did in middle school. I've written many, many fanfictions, since then, but that one will always give me flashbacks. 😂
It's actually hidden away in my old story notebook that I don't let anyone else look at.
Also, it contained these line highlights
"But just then I saw some peculiar creatures. They looked like ponies except for the fact that had a body hard to explain"
“There was once a evil centaur who lived in a place called Midnight Castle . The evil centaur wanted eternal night for whatever reason. As far as I know it was for no reason at all.”
my first fanfiction was a warrior cats oc fic where the main oc was a mary sue for half the chapters because omg she was a kit that was the child of all 4 clans and was insanely strong and survived an entire forest fire that killed everyone but that one kid and somehow convinced a bunch of twolegs to give her seeds to regrow the forest(like, normal seeds like the type you'd plant to grow fruit) and then it was basically just a dumpster fire of "overpowered mary sue oc leads over whole forest and is feared by all due to strength" or something to that effect. there was also something called warwind where people were just unnecessarily violent for no reason and for some reason kits and apprentices were there too. the fic got SLIGHTLY better at time went on but it was still awful because then i stopped spacing my paragraphs and had too many random cats and there was more random violence and at one point a kittypet stole some prey from the main clan and then was offered to join the clan but yeah
wrote that train wreck when i was 10.
So yeah, I basically came up with Jurassic World: Dominion before the Jurassic World movies even came out.
a few years back when i was like 7-8 ish i was into hermitcraft (season 6 btw)
and i had this oc that was...mines and grians DAUGHTER. and i would imagine stories with her and her friends which were also kids of the other members of the server
thankfully i never wrote anything down about it-
Oh god, I come up with ideas that swerve away from canon in a violent way, a lot.
Another one is basically my hatchimals with powers and romance
My first fanfiction was a fanfic where monika from ddlc somehow climbed out a monitor into the real world to be with the mc, its not really that interesting but there was another "fanfic" i made when i first got into jjba where giorno would somehow come to the world of mlp equestria girls and the only thing i remember from it is this one scene giorno somehow got possesed by dio and went full evil vampire mode and the main 6 (7?) Had to fight dio. Everytime i question why someone would make an absurd crossover like this one i remember this "fanfic" and remember that oh yeah *i am not free from sin*
i NEED to see the jjba x equestria girls fic
The first fanfic I wrote is a Zelda fic where Majora and Hylia are twin goddesses and it’s about Skull Kid and Zelda figuring out their history
(It’s unfinished due to lack of motivation and writer’s block)
3:23 My child also my first still continuing is a Calypso and Leo fanfic from Percy Jackson ilikeitdontjudgeme
I never finished that storyline because I lost the notebook I was drawing it when we moved out of that house when i was 10 o(-(
That actually sounds cool!
It's such a shame you lost it :(
@@KH-uh8pp it still kinda pains me tbh, but I remember most of it so I consider that a win o(-(
I went through a long phase as a young teen where every piece of media I consumed involved characters getting fire lizards from Dragonriders of Pern.
I still write on the concept.
What does that look like?"
ngl i kinda wanna read this
before iots i had a violent a bloody tdi fanfic where a monster would hunt down every camper and could also impersonate them. the monster was really overpowered and actually the game got up to where episode 15 was in the first season before chaos broke loose. this was probably me expressing the more… darker side of my interests.
honestly i would read this over iots
I wrote my first when I was deeply depressed and it was just a selfinsert character being taken care of by teenage Remus Lupin. I think I still have it somewhere... 😅
i've never actually written anything for harry potter but that was literally one of my favorite scenarios to fall asleep to when i was younger
that self inserted Harry Potter takes away Voldemort's magic Avatar style
The Icewing eventually turned evil, and tried stealing animus magic, but was able to be stopped by Darkstalker's scroll despite at the time I'm fairly sure that thing was destroyed,
my first written fic was a pokemon fic called “eevee and the amulet of life” that i wrote in 4th grade. i haven’t read it in a while but i remember it being really bad lol. it’s basically about an eevee becoming old enough to explore the world on her own and at some point she finds this powerful necklace called the amulet of life. i was super passionate about and even wanted to turn it into a movie one day?? but yea it was really bad and the things i ended up writing were not relevant to the actual plot whatsoever
but an even BETTER (way worse) one is in 6th grade i came up with a ready player one fanfic in my head where parzival and art3mis have a baby named alex and alex has magical powers and stuff. and also aech becomes evil in it and tries to kill alex and almost succeeds??? it’s a whole mess but i loved it so much back then and it shaped who i am as a person lmao
honestly i have so many other “almost-fanfics” that i’ve come up with over the years. heck, the original story im working on right now used to be an AMONG US AU of all things. despite how cringe a lot of these stories are i look back on them fondly
I believe it was a FNAF human au. It never came to fruition but the way it lived in my head rent free was astounding.
