Definitely one of the best albums of 2023! The atmosphere, blending of natural and electronic elements and deeper meanings really show the sort of magic that BT can produce for all to enjoy. 🌲🌲 This Binary Universe lives on. 🌠🍃
I normally don’t comment here, but I had to for this beautiful album. BT did amazing here, creating an atmospheric soundscape that sends shivers down your spine every listen. Chill EDM is normally not my cup of tea, but no matter what your music tastes are, I’d still recommend you listen to this at least once. BT, you really outdid yourself here, amazing work!

I'm very ecstatic that I was here to listen to this premiere in-full. So much diverse material to take in, and a lot of highlighting moments, whether that would be from satisfying sound design or the mind-blowing coded art sequence (that definitely fits into the theme of the album so well). Longer-form albums lately have made me realize the key reasons why I love music so much, and in a way I can say they sort of... saved me, as a person. Extremely awesome of Monstercat to upload the Producer's Cut of the album, because there's just so much more to unpack with it than just the normal experience. This may easily go down as one of my favorite albums of the year, as well as one of my favorite albums to ever be released on Monstercat. Keep making awesome music, BT, because for certain there's going to be people like me (who haven't even been alive for the start of your career) that are going to find out about your music and be astonished by it.
If you do decide to dig further in to the past a couple of series of mixes that might interest you that also may act as touchstones to the time are "Northern Exposure" I and II by Sasha and Digweed, also some of the Global Underground mixes, notably GU 13: Ibiza. I would be keen to hear what fresh ears make of them all these years later. It goes without saying if you have not heard "This Binary Universe" by BT (and even better on a surround system) then you check that out also if you enjoyed this release.

Oh wow, I didn't expect this to be a 1.5 Hour Premiere on Silk today, and combining with the small visualizer bars this time instead of the usual DJ Silk sets, well good thing I at least made it in the chat before the final song towards the end approached.
I don't want to sound like I'm just overhyping this, but after listening to it many times for weeks, I honestly start to believe that this might be BT's best album to date. It's basically everything I ever wanted from him since I admired the original This Binary Universe. Because this album is supposed to be the 7th album in the series, but it's actually has elements from ALL previous additions: it has the fastastic, detailed post rock/IDM-glitch production that makes the 1st TBU amazing, but also has the calm, emotional piano elements of "Everything....". It has the production level and variation of his 2016 (_) album, but also, the beatless ambient parts of Between Here and You. The result is a great mix of all the chapters of this series, using the strengths of all. It's hard to say it's as good as the original TBU, but it some ways, yes, it's just as good, but with even more variation.

Bt is the most brilliant creator I've ever seen audio-visual productions from. It's almost like a soul of a producer really connecting with the soul of an audience of all involved.
I had an association that this could be 100% great game menu music for a computer game like Forza Motorsport or Gran Turismo. Just imagine how you choose the check-in mode or car to this music. It's perfect.
This album restored my faith in humanity and all the wonderful beautiful people that can create such amazing music and videos to go with the music… and also just feeling incredibly blessed to be able to know there are people in the world like me that want music and peace and not hate and war. This is exactly the 'MUSIC' what I had imagined and heard around 21 years ago in my EARS while spending number of days alone in the fields and thinking 'This music has never been created and is yet to be created',...but @BT has actually made it. I sometimes have to remove trees, as a farmer and construction contractor. It pays me and it pains me. Someday I might be removed because of my inconvenient habituation in my environment. I hope the trees know that I know that we are all one growth on this hot ball of rock.
The sound design is exceptional here. So much subtle variation and progression over the course of each track, and across the album as a whole. Some tracks remind me of KOAN's signature sound, especially "k-means clustering" which I think has to be my favourite here. Simply top notch stuff. Edit: DeepFake is also too tasty to not be my tied favourite now.
Fantastic album and the visuals are a perfect example of how to use AI well. They just fit so well and it takes immense skill and time to produce something so clean.

Disappointed in this, i might be at odds with people here, but its a run of the mill stutter edit demo ambience album from BT using existing samples from his other albums. The only ones i like is the first track and the ones after Embers, the stutter stuff is just over played now every album that BT does you can guarantee it has Stutter throughout it. Fan of this man for over 20 years with Albums like ESCM and Ima regularly on the play list. Recent work just hasn’t been as good or memorable as these and i really want BT to get back to his roots and create and album that knocks it out of the park like he used to. its the same with Chicane i want something on Par with FFTMC
