Since the bald eagle machine was the start of the channel you should turn it into a full on track weapon. Not a drag car bit something good for road course or something.
Im not a very emotional person, but this made me start to cry. I lost my grandfather in Dec. 2022 to cancer, and he was a staple in my hobbies. Both firearms and fast cars. We would talk for HOURS on end about what he did back in the day with his cars, scroll FB marketplace and showing him videos of my boosted sn95 cobra. I was so close with him. When I see Sam, its like im watching my grandfather, they are so alike. Sam is just out there living life, doing what he loves, you guys are the best. Rest in peace Papa, and fuck cancer.

Cleeter if you really want to make this track last a long time - cement treat the baserock then microcrack it. Then lay the mix on top of that. It's going to cost quite a bit more - but it'll get you by for decades more without having to replace or rework the base material. When you have a failure, which you will over time - mill it back up, replace the small section and lay more hotmix. The cement treated base will keep it from taking too much damage from all the rain that you guys get. And it'll create a much harder surface over time. I'd do a 8"-10" full base replacement - and cement treat it at atleast 2% of mass to flexbase. Cement treated base also helps MASSIVELY with spreading the load out on the subgrade - which really is a big point of CTB. Love what you guys do and the hard work you put in. You've really brought soo much to the racing community.
He will be lucky if the track isn't shut down within 5 years. The housing is expanding faster than he expected. Hopefully, he is already looking for property for a new track.
@@bradstill4444 I bought a freedom construction shirt when they were working on the track surface before and I do subscribe to patreon for farmcraft 101 but don't recall hearing about one for Cleetus.

I'm so happy for Cleetus, and couldn't be more proud, not only has he built a brand that is unbelievable, but he is a genuine kind hearted ol country boy. The world's a better place with a Cleetus McFarland.
Sam reminds me of an older buddy and mentor of mine. I miss him every day, Sam’s reaction to things like this is so genuine. And then he rips a burnout straight off the bat, full OG
it makes me smile so much seeing Sam get happy like this, he seems like such a nice guy and totally deserves great company that the cleetus crew give him
I love how happy you guys make Sam. I guarantee you guys have improved Sams life. Improved as far as experiences, joy, happiness, and you have definitely extended his family. Garrett you should be proud of yourself, you add value to people's life constantly, and do it selfishly. Mad Respect sir. Cant wait for the day to make your Acquaintance. God bless you sir.
I obviously know that value wise $1,000,000 isn’t a drop in the bucket for 99.9% of people. However there is one thing you should consider. The more money you put in for repairs over the years for the long haul as I’m sure you probably plan to own it for a while, it WILL get to the point where maintaining it will start encroaching upon 1/4 - 1/2 of your minimum quote for sure. Do it right the first time and don’t ever blink at it again and have a beautiful aesthetic track, or bandaid it over time for the next couple years and end up paying almost 25% more for a full replacement. I’d buy a repave t-shirt just to see a beautiful and serious track at the Freedom Factory!
Even if he has the $1,000,000 to spend on the repour, it still wouldn't be feasible with the new home construction that is being built within earshot of the Freedom Factory and the Drag strip. The area is 'protected' right now, but the county still has the ability to remove the protection and cause both facilities to close down and move further from the town. Doesn't make sense to put in $1,000,000 into a 1-2 year life of the new track
They might seem like a wild goofy simple group of guys, but rest assured that whole team is smart. They have good heads on their shoulders and they probably understand more about finances, then most of the people who view their videos. Myself included. Just think about how much the channel has grown in the last Two years. I totally get where you’re coming from. When you say do it right one time, but they seem to have the motivation knowledge and resources (finances) to continually create content while expanding their fleet and assets. It’s straight up impressive and I’d like to hope that one day the freedom factory will grow to a well paved track with regular events and staff to support the events. The sky is the limit when it comes to these guys. Actually that’s not even the limit because he flies planes now. 🤷🏽♂️

Oh you need to keep rolling with this one. Love the look and why not keep making it better for sam............to be continued...........the world needs more SAM!
I worked for a large company doing paving of highways and some substrates are not as good as others but there are so many ways to pave and prepare substrates. They can grind the old asphalt then add concrete and for lack of a better word rototill the powder and old asphalt with water to a depth of 14" and a chemical reaction happens to harden the substrate to accept asphalt. Its done all over the world and its a method that works. You can also chip out the bad areas, patch pave then tack oil and lay a fabric felt down and it gets rolled with a tire compactor then tack oiled again and paved over but this is an over lay but they can last for decades but I'm sure you will figure it out.
Seeing Sam in the Marauder told me everything I ever needed to know. He shit you boys up so hard with a gleam in his eyes, he was alive! He's the same age as you boys on the inside, he just looks a little older. You guys are keeping him young with the comraderie. Keep it up! We ALL need that.

Absolute gold Cleetus. Sam just went back 40 years, and just quietly showed you young bucks how to do a burnout lol. Can't wait to see you guys back in Oz.
Gotta say been watching you guys for years and this one really got me i haven’t stopped smiling while watching this …. What you guys do for Sam is incredible and shows what kind of people u are you… this should be an example for how to treat the people in your life … great job cleet the more you give , the more you get…. Karma always comes back around
when you said gypsum base, i was oh fuuuuuuhhh and then when he brought out the pipe i was like yup theres going to be a lot of that... i live near a lot of gypsum those rains didnt do you any favours, that stuff turns to mush when its wet. i wouldnt be surprised if there was a lot more voids in the making. replacing the base will be key, but as a suggestion, when you do rip it up, plan for monster trucks, and motorcross so they can give you some events while the works being done so its not just all negative income while your doing that
That smile and clap when he fired it up... must be have made it all worth it. Sam is a national treasure. I love that old man. Cant wait to see him rip it.
I also have another cougar windshield story for james. Moms 80s cougar during a tornado storm. The tornado jumped over the house only taking about 6 ft worth of bricks from the chimney throwing them all over. One such brick went thru the windshield and landed on driver seat. The hole it left was perfectly cut, no cracks or any other damage to the glass like it was a design with a hole from factory.
If watching Sam having the time of his life doesn’t bring a smile to your face there is something wrong with you. He is the grandpa we all wish we could have. What an incredible human!
Cleetus, with 3.4 million subscribers, I bet WE would be willing to donate at least $2.00 each to get The Freedom Factory track resurfaced. If you agree with me please hit the thumbs up and let US make it happen for The Freedom Factory!
To repair and repave the the surface, you’re basically halfway to the point of just building a new track, so like others have said I bet his future plan is to just build a track from scratch
Pretty sure in one of the new construction videos he said a new location was definitely on the table for him and Victor. Hopefully it doesn't come to that.
A more accurate accounting of how many people pay attention to the channel, is the views per video. A channel can amass 3.5 million subs, but only have 1.5 million active viewers.
if your going to send Sam in the box, you should definitely upgrade him to a serious seat, last thing you want is him breaking a hip if he hits a wall. hes a spry fella, but i worry about what an impact like that will do to him so make sure hes strapped in good.

That smile on Sam's face. Priceless. It's so heartwarming to see him so exited and happy. ❤
Sam looked 30 yrs younger when he stopped that cyclone lol God Bless his heart. I love that ol fella
its that superman effect, he spun around so fast he traveled back in time.
Sam just loves life and he has all you guys to bring more joy and memories to make ...Mr.Sam is always smiling 😊
Anything with sam just warms my heart!! I wish i could do something for absolutely any one like sam! Ur awesome man!!
That lizard went for the ride of his life🤣
You guys are fantastic. I absolutely love seeing Sam living his best life. Y'all keep him young at heart
when you said gypsum base, i was oh fuuuuuuhhh and then when he brought out the pipe i was like yup theres going to be a lot of that... i live near a lot of gypsum those rains didnt do you any favours, that stuff turns to mush when its wet. i wouldnt be surprised if there was a lot more voids in the making.
replacing the base will be key, but as a suggestion, when you do rip it up, plan for monster trucks, and motorcross so they can give you some events while the works being done so its not just all negative income while your doing that
Brilliant!!!
Sam is such a good dude. Good call Garrett
The smile on Sam's face is legendary.
"sorry" UPS guy just smiles and carries on...way cool
That smile and clap when he fired it up... must be have made it all worth it. Sam is a national treasure. I love that old man. Cant wait to see him rip it.
When George saw the terminator lolll
He dosen't even know what it is.
That was hilarious
He scared me 😂😂😂
Naa thats just him. Hes what they call a kindred spirit. A person that is so easy to bully that you shouldnt. Too easy to bully if you will @fast97z24
What an incredible human!
lol That lizard held on during the burnout. He stayed on the car and was like lets go again!
That's Larry from Colorado, he's already done a bunch of passes with BoostedBoiz
Can see Sam in the fast lane rolling 55 waiting for someone to pass to dust them 🤣
Make to bypass the heater core unless you want a steamy foot bath
You bring that man so much happiness right at the peak of his life. I love what you've all done for Sam❤
Make the horn on it a cougar growl 🐯 lol😂
Cleetus McFarland videos are the best I always look forward to them everyday
Cleetus, with 3.4 million subscribers, I bet WE would be willing to donate at least $2.00 each to get The Freedom Factory track resurfaced.
If you agree with me please hit the thumbs up and let US make it happen for The Freedom Factory!
With the neighborhood moving in I don’t think he wants to dump half of what he spent on the property to essentially build a new track.
@@GradyRho92 Damned good point. He and Victor should be looking now for the property to build the next Florida Motor Sports park.
Absolutely awesome seeing Sam smile, nice work Cleetus
if your going to send Sam in the box, you should definitely upgrade him to a serious seat, last thing you want is him breaking a hip if he hits a wall. hes a spry fella, but i worry about what an impact like that will do to him so make sure hes strapped in good.
Hot damn Mr Sam!!!! love that smoker!
Such a good soul Sam is!
13:58 that lizard had the time of its life 😂
Sam has been such a great addition to the channel. Such natural positive energy.
I would love to see a video of Sam doing a full paint correction on that bad new burn out car!
It’s probably about time Sam starts his own channel dedicated to it. Even if it’s not consistent videos.
5:17 blasting the UPS man 😂😂😂😂
🤣
It's about time Sam gets a car! He deserves it
The amount of joy on this man’s face literally gave me tears of JOY brother amazing !!!
She purrring like a cougar...
😂😂😂
I can not wait for the in cab footage of Sam doing burn out rivals.
Cleet: "The building fell on it during the hurricane"
Sam: "It'll buff out"
I think Sam could buff out a rollover accident car, yo. That dude seems like he's some sort of magician 😂
@@goosenotmaverick1156he sure can, that man is a unit
Sam finding yall was the biggest blessing for all. He's living his best life with some gents with a passion for cars as well, beautiful. 🤘💪🔥
