You seriously cannot ask for anything better than this. This is literally everyone’s dream, to play the version of minecraft that made our childhood. I would honestly make a lets play with this mod on
I was going to. Then it just never worked out.
keep in mind the mod in the reconsole modpack called "golden age combat" adds a 10% hitbox boost, which is bannable on hypixel. you can disable this in its config file
Imagine Legacy 4J on Beta 1.7 now that beta is making a comeback

I have, it's pretty cool, but it has issues with crashes.
Been playing on a lan world using the e4mc mod that’s included and I haven’t experienced any. Still sad to hear that ur heaving troubles
I can't disable classic crafting On Servers for some reason
Classic Crafting has to be enabled for servers, it's just how the mod was coded. I've had the same issues when playing on a survival server.
When I try to load it it loads the game but before the window can completely open it just dies and turns off. It worked before, but now it’s not. 🙁
That's another issue I'm having also.
@@GoldenNiteGamingI was wondering if they recently like, disabled the mod? Maybe they’re working on something… mainly because it’s not reopening the launcher and letting my me know the game crashed…
Okay I just realized it’s mainly because of the version of the mod, it just closes the game. Maybe use an older one >_

If the link is not adding it, I'd recommend going through Modrinth or whatever launcher you're using, then search it up, and add it from there. I used Modrinth since it was easier. The modpack is called Re-Console.

I'll see what I can do. By the looks of it, Legacy4J is also a Quilt Mod, so it should blend into servers also.
@@GoldenNiteGamingI tried to load legacy4J on my phone using fabric but it crashes right when "Mojang" appears.
I think the systems were designed for PC users, not mobile just yet. I would love to see it come out sometime soon though.
Can I get it in Bedrock?
Not yet. As of right now this is a java only mod. Due to how the bedrock system is different, I don't think it'll be possible.
I don't know how to feel about this. For years, I've experienced backlash towards legacy console edition by Java players and even watching Java players complain and looked down on console players. Now, seeing them make a mod to recreate the look and feel of legacy console edition, and if I heard at one point, trying to make it "better" feels weird.
kind of because minecraft lost its soul, if you compare java now to what it used to be its graphics and charm actually went away
