此曲由著名的委內瑞拉作曲家Alberto Grau為紀念當地於1999年的大水災所創作，該場水災奪走接近數萬人的性命以及數十萬人無家可歸。
歌曲的開始為一段流行於加泰隆尼亞流行的旋律，當地的兒童經常在下雨天歌唱，喻意水災的降臨。接著第一段主要以模仿大自然的聲音為主，祈求自然之神可以平息巨大的自然力量。第第二段則以模仿遠古時代的樂曲，配搭上速度及音量上漸增的方式，喚醒生命與大自然之間的關係。第三段以明亮的旋律加上具有部落風格的編曲以及動作，表達出人類重生建立新的生活及帶有盼望。
The piece was written by a Venezuelans Composer Alberto Grau commemorate a flood in 1999 that claimed the lives of tens of thousands of people and displaced of people. The song started with a popular melody in Catalonia about the flood coming, where children often sing on rainy days.
The first movement imitates natural sounds, praying for the redemption of the God of Nature. The second movement depicts music from the ancient times, recalling the connection between life and nature with accelerando and crescendo. The third movement displays rebirth and hope in humanity by adding bright melodies, tribal arrangements and gestures.
