God I love Awakening’s so much. Not my fav FE, but the drop when ‘Marth’ and Chrom are swinging blades is just so good and iconic. It never ceases to tire me.

Mad disrespect towards Echoes, the art style and music in that game was incredible. That opening is so god damn good I just watch it get inspired for my DnD sessions.
Agreed, though the 3D animation is pretty bad, that is to be expected considering the 2D character design costs were crazy. They really went all out for Echoes
@@liamwilson7549 the 3D animation isn't bad at all, that's such a subjective take. I prefer it over Awakening/fates mo-cap style honestly and I'm glad Three houses went with the same style.
Radiant Dawn, Fates and Echoes intros are ones I always re-watch when I boot up those games
The intros for Fates and PoR are my favorite for their music alone; Fates is bangin, PoR sets the tone
Fe4 and fates intros are my favorite. 1st time i saw that fates intro in the direct a long time ago i was hooked. Sucks that thats my favorite part about fates.
Wait i forgot about awakening. It's a 3 way tie but fe4 is #1 but also a 3 way tie

Wow mt list would've looked almost the same as yours! I love three houses so much so I'd have it higher along with echoes, but i think awakening could be the best intro (even if it's not the best game). The main fire emblem theme in awakening is my favorite and I get chills when I watch that intro

I remember knowing nothing about FE games other than Marth and Roy being characters from said games added to SBMelee. My brother bought Radian Dawn thinking it was a fighting game with swords and stuff and was so excited only to be disappointed himself when playing. But, I got curious, and so I was the one that started playing it. It was my first ever game of that genre, and I wasnt liking it at first (now I now it is because I couldnt get the whole story right, I didnt know of the existence of Path Of Radiance until I researched it later but couldnt play it). But the characters and the music made me fall in love with this game. Sadly our Wii broke and so I wasnt ever able to finish the game until I found out myself about emulators and how to run one like 5 years later. I remembered the game but wrong, I confused both Tellius games and started playing Path Of Radiance instead, and holy fucking shit I am still glad I did that. Midway I realized this but it was the best thing ever playing this one and then jumping right back into the train of memories with Radiant Dawn. I never re-play one game only now, I always start PoR and end RD as if they were one single game, I cannot play only one of them.
Fates is just a magical opening

I’m not a fan of showing gameplay in the intros echoes and 3H did however Path of radiance I felt did it right by switching to the CGI of Ike, Soren, and Titania

I didn't expect Three house to be a B tier not going to lie I would have tought a A at less (it really similar to Radiant dawn in alot of ways I would say)
The blue flame in Radiant dawn are ackward too like I like Radiant dawn opening but still like those 2 are really comparable like Radiant dawn got some PNG character art too... like it not too bad I think and same for Three house and if I recal right Three houses opening end is pretty good too.
Any way to be fair it been long since I watch bot but RD and three house seem fairly similar to me any way.

The opening itself is a bit eh... cutscene compilation and all that.
But the actual song, edge of dawn, goes so hard it's my favorite FE opening just cuz of that.

I actually take a look at that intro in the full stream VOD (Link in description).
Shadows of Valentia has the best Fire Emblem OST imo. It has this dream-like, melancholic quality to it that hits HARD.
I really disagree with Echoes being so low it at least deserves A teir. RDs cutscence don't look that great either
man I love fates as a whole, also let me just say I was hype as hell for 3 houses but fuck was it a major let down after fates in terms of the paths gimmick and commared to awakening and echoes there's no contest, echoes slaps it silly
I would've put Fates WAY lower, I honestly find the intro incredibly lame. If Engage was on the list it'd be easily the top of S
FE6 opening is as cheesy and melodramatic as the game 🤣
And FE8's opening is just as quickly put together, boring, and shitty as the game.
