Watch a full tutorial as a 2012 Honda Odyssey will have a brand new flip-down monitor / screen installed. We will be integrating this to the factory audio sound system utilizing the AUX input.
This video applies to Honda Odyssey models for years 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. This video also includes how to mount the monitor to the roof of the van, all the wiring, installation, and testing.

Me ask you something I already had the flip screen in my Honda Odyssey but I have the small screen do you think if I buy a bigger one from Amazon I don't need to run all the cables because everything is already there?

I know its an older video but this is the closest video ive found to what im trying to do. I have the same van but i cant figure out how to get all the trim panels down run the wires in head liner. Any tips?

The negative wire can be a short wire because its just body ground connection no need to run it along with the other wires…

I bought a car that has the exact model of the DVD player but the Dome light works but I don’t know how to turn it on. The car has some sort of wall plug that I’m guessing powers the DVD player. And also the AV In cables yellow red and white. How do I turn it on? My car model is a Toyota Highlander 2013 Limited

Did your monitor's power only have power and ground? Mine is red/yellow/black (ACC/B+/Ground)

I have a Honda Pilot with a Rear Entertainment system. However the center only had AV/Composite input. Anyway I can upgrade it to something with Component input? Or would that involve just too much work?

You can tap to any fuse but avoid those you need to start and drive the car just in case you get a short…
