I have a brother-in-law who moved up to Katherine about 25 years ago from Melbourne and has married and is raising kids up there and has never looked back. He has a good job and has a nice property on the outskirts of town so now the extended family have an excuse to visit The N.T. regularly.......I just loved the place.
Hi Paul and Wenda, thanks for all the video's we enjoy following your travels, I would like to ask if you can change the type of transition you use in your videos please, for some reason it makes youtube on our TV stall and stop your videos, I know this sounds strange but I have noticed this quite a few times, especially with this video and even after I lowered the resolution, thanks again and keep the videos coming please.

Having watched a few of your videos of your outback travels, have found them very good as my husband and I are planning on a trip from Geelong to Darwin in July this year and looking forward to it. It is nice to get another's perspective on travelling from people of similar ages to ours. We are looking forward to walking and exploring the National Parks in the NT but I have a "stiff" left leg which I hope won't hinder me too much but having watched your videos, it is only the rocky steep terrain that I would have the trouble with and as you said "do what suits you" good advice, thank you. I think you are brave selling everything up in Melbourne to go travelling full time though but good luck to you. I wish you well. I found you both to be very down to earth genuine people but of course you are originally from Victoria so that says it all. 😊😊 By the way, the Geelong Cats beat the Bulldogs this weekend in case you missed it. Go Cats!!😂😂
No we didn't miss it, we painfully sat through it at the Darwin Golf Club. But thank you for bringing it up again for us!! 🤣😂 Nah, well done to Geelong they got the win. Not sure if you're aware but we did the Darwin trip from St Leonards (took the long way, but what a great trip) Other than the football reference, thank you for your kind words ☺ We have found many of the tracks and walks are quite doable for most level of mobility, there are some that definitely require greater levels of fitness and agility but even without them, we think, there's no shortage. We'll still be up here in Darwin throughout July, maybe we'll cross paths? Anyway have a wonderful adventure! Cheers Paul & Wenda
