    Damn this is amazing!
    I usually find it hard to word the beauty that’s up here in the top end while explaining to people who have no idea about it. Now I can show them this video!
    I have family members that are Traditional owners of some beautiful land around Ahnem land all through to Kakadu and there’s places hidden away that are straight breath taking.
    Definitely one of the most amazing places to visit.
    Also don’t forget to pay respect to the spirits of that area because they all made sure to preserve those areas just for us to enjoy it ❤️

      Thanks, Phil! Glad you liked the video 👍 We booked our 4WD rental through Adventure Rentals NT and it came with a fridge and other camping gear. Here's their website if you want to check it out in more detail:

    What month did you go? Also do you recommend a 4WD? So unsure, also is 7 days enough to do it all? Including 2 night in Darwin?

    • @TravelByTy
      @TravelByTy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! We did this trip over 9 days in the last week of October 2020. I believe it was the last part of the dry season, so we did end up with a little bit of rain. A 4WD is required if you’r planning to visit Jim Jim Falls - the corrugated roads are very bumpy and it’s quite a long drive to get there! If you’re planning a trip to Kakadu, 7 days should be enough, but just make sure to check the National Park website to see which parts of the park are open/closed. We didn’t realize that the trail to Gunlom Falls was closed until we arrived at the car park…so definitely worth checking beforehand. Hope you enjoy your trip! Cheers

    Great video. How long did you go for and what month was it? We are hoping to go in August, wondering if 2 weeks will be enough including Kunnunarra..

    • @TravelByTy
      @TravelByTy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, Rachel! We did this trip over 9 days in the last week of October 2020. It really depends on how much time you want to spend in each national park. If you're planning to visit Darwin, Kakadu, Nitmiluk, and Litchfield, it may be a challenge to also make it over to Kunnunarra as well...Hope this helps and good luck with the trip planning!
