FINALLY someone talks about AR's issues! It feels nothing like Gran Turismo, as everyone says it does. I feel like the biggest problem is the AI, they should really add more tracks AI cars to the Custom Race mode, and make the AI cars actually drive well so it can feel like an actual *race.*

The biggest problem is the lack of weight transfer on the physics
Cars feel unrealistic because devs refuse to make the game harder for newcomers, they instead want to feed them an easy experience with the label of "simulator"

Uh actually the physics are completely broken, no improvement and fixes at all for years now. The physics used to be great until around 2020 iirc, they messed up the physics which the majority of cars couldn’t even oversteer naturally and more prone to understeer more. The car also correcting itself by understeer back after you sliding your car at corner which I really hate it so much.

You need some whacky suspension and tire pressure tuning to to keep the car oversteering, which most of the time will still correct itself automatically unless you punch the gas pedal a little midway through the corner _(unless you go the route of making the car unbearably slippery, which in that case just call it a drift tune or something)_
And don't even get me started with AWD, majority of em can't slide unless you have the clutch pedal handy. Its most apparent with the Lan Evo lineage where no matter what suspension settings I try the car just wants to correct itself immediately ¯\_〳 •̀ o •́ 〵_/¯

They’ve now added daily events, but now that seems repetitive as you don’t use every vehicle in the game and it’s always “stay off the grass” or “find the flag” or “2 laps in (map)” with either a Subaru S208, Toyota GT86 and that Mercedes (I think CLS AMG). They need to really work on a lot of things, they should just let anyone work on the game with them at this point

One thing that interest me about this game is watching my car driven by AI vs AI after Custom Race.
My main gripe is the dirt physics it feels very grippy and awd cars understeer instead of oversteer on dirt and snow,also a lot of vehicle customisation feels limited,liverys are no where to be seen and did I say that oversteer is almost undo able on snow , also tuning is limited to a few car parts,you cant move your torque byass rear ward or forward on AWD Cars
And i got more when you brake on dirt your car naturally rotates and that doesn't happen on assoluto, weight transfers feel off when you swing your car one way and swing it again it just understeers, cars with wings on the back have down force applied on them,so when you drive a car that doesn't have a wing you have no stability on jumps,which is nice but since you cant put a wing on every car since there isnt any body kit customisation your f**ked on jumps,the best example of this is fr legends in fr legends you get body customisation and can swap out body kits and make a car your but in assoluto you cant,they need to do a physics overhaul.
Rally is my favourite motorsport and it's sad to see how open the rally maps are, usually in rally,stages are tight,tighter roads makes better drive,hairpins do not exist at all and tarmac rally maps also dont exist,
And if they were to make oversteer possible under braking,weight transfers,better bodykit customisation and also more tuning options

@@JuiceyBeverage There is no weight transfer physics. Believe it or not, but downforce is applied to the axles of the cars, not the literal wing itself. With imports being in the game, we will never see custom kits enter the game that we can purchase ourselves. However, through the modding community, liveries and body kits are possible and they do not interfere with the game or physics of your car so there is no need to worry about cheating or bans from our mods.

Let's be glad we get to have a free driving experience in our phones tablets etc. There's room for improvement tho. I had a cool idea back where the driver can exit the car and interact with the other drivers but i thought it was too extreme because of the already existing limitations of the game. However I still believe this little game has the potential to overcome the odds and possibly become competent with gran Turismo and Forza but that seems unlikely now. I have joined the community since 2017 and I can say it has been a pleasant experience with y'all so far. I acknowledge what this assoluto player wants to point out and lets be realistic it has holden up well the during the past 6 years and the players from my pov seem to have fun even to this day. Not everything is perfect,no but can be improved. Let's hope all for better AR updates and make assoluto great again.
Simple conclusion of this video which is also incredibly true: the developers are lazy as hell, even though they are in quite a small group but then still. Maybe they could team up with more and other developers to improve the game faster?
I suspect the AR devs are looking at their balance sheet and doubling down on only the parts that improves the spendings of the playerbase catching an intense case of survivorship bias. The reliable cash cows like myself slowly stops spending time on the game because I have run out of creativity to do sht like "rallying on grass patches" and only come back when there's spicy new circuits. Other than that only the gullible nuubs who will move onto better games after three weeks are wasting money on gatchas.

After 1 year they added the daily events, which basically is (always) finishing the run as fast as you can, but they're constantly repeating the same type of test on the update celebration daily and the other one is almost every time the Mercedes GT-S in an Airport traject, which is getting boring, I was expecting stuff like: Overtake, sections of actual tracks with more limited track limits, avoid cones, 1 hot-lap. But no, all are open-area track sections and 2 laps on actual tracks and all of them are really easy to get gold, which imo is boring.
For the update celebration daily, it's literally: open-area, find the finish line, , instead of creative challenges or anything...
I as well am disappointed with the AI and with all the new cars only being available for import/coins.
They as well could add the veteran class as the last one for license tests imo, so there would be 1 license per class (beginner, intermediate, advanced, veteran), but they basically ignored them.
About the hackers issue, imo could be fixed by giving you the possibility of watching the replay of their runs + report button.
0:17 Hate to be rude, but development isn't always perfect, "could be solved" would be more apropriate. Although don't take this as an excuse for issues the devs have not solved for years.

2:38 AR used to have a third training course that was never finished and eventually removed, though back when it still existed imports were yet to be a thing. They can totally bring it back and use imports or hard to drive cars to force players to get rely more on their skills and knowledge of the track. Not to mention, with all the adjustments they've made to cars in the past, they somehow missed that certain cars are used in tutorials and end up being underpowered to even get bronze.
3:00 The AI follow a checkpoint system, they don't look for other opponents as they drive around, they may also miss a checkpoint and turn around to get to it.
4:39 Again, despite being comically bad, why should it pay less if the opponents are mindless? Certainly they should and hopefully will greatly improve upon their pathfinding and awareness, but one thing I didn't see is if it should pay less or more, that is something you left out entirely.
5:34 Balancing issues. Also lack of incentive to do multiplayer races since the pay is so little and second place isn't far off from pay either.
6:04 Transparent car thumbnails, the 930 is not the only car to suffer from the issue and there are plenty more.
6:18 This is likely due to your connection to the servers cutting off without telling you to reconnect and so you end up endlessly trying to connect to a server you had no access to begin with. I'm no expert, but that is what I think it is.
7:35 Join lag is more prominent on lower end devices. I do not remember it perfectly, but it may be due to the player joining having to load all their data. Not sure if it tries to process everything all at once or extremely quickly, but I'm not 100% sure what causes it.
7:50 I'm not sure what causes the shadow to disappear when joining a lobby, but I do know that occasionally when people constantly join and leave a lobby could causes shadows to disappear. Not to mention that the real time shadow should honestly be darker. In some maps, (A prominent example being the old Forest Path) the real time shadow is lighter than a shadow on the track which mixes up and looks very strange. Also have multiplayer lobbies have completely absent shadows as soon as you join as of lately? I haven't been playing much lately so I do not know.
8:10 That sounds like nonsense, the issue with collision would likely be the connection you would need to have to ensure that a bad connection doesn't ruin a close race. A minimum and maximum ping would need to be required in order to enable/join lobbies to have any sort of collisions. Along with collisions, it would seem weird to be behind someone without having drafting mechanics.
8:17 Only issue I have with increased rewards is even if more Cr cars are added, you're still bound to end up with either everything or max out the garage limit and then again, accumulating millions of Cr. I don't think adding more Cr cars and increasing multiplayer rewards will fix the issue with Cr hoarding.
8:19 By dedicated mode, do you mean in the multiplayer lobby section or a entirely new section alongside quick race / quick drift or just toggleable features in a lobby?
8:43 Where have they said it is fixed? The only things I have seen them say is that they manually remove hackers from the event leaderboards. I hate to be rude, but it just looks like misinformation unless you have a source to prove they said they "fixed" something pertaining to hackers in events. Not to mention, hackers time's will be removed from the events and they do not recieve rewards either.

9:30 No player can get a reasonable amount of coins in a reasonable amount of time due to how ads are today. Unless you have the budget. Not to mention there is very very very little coin rewards overall in the single player portion of the game which will very well force players to watch ads endlessly to afford anything. Excluding the times of the year the devs hand out thousands of coins.
10:02 Despite the 311 being nerfed, it was still the quickest dealer car. I would like to see the complaints about the 311 nerf though. I do recall the nerf that even the devs have brought up in a recent interview during the BitSummit event was the AE86 D-Spec nerf (Being the most controversial nerf)
10:19 This is a terrible example, I have a much better example. The Nissan Skyline Hardtop 2000 GT-R D-Spec '70 is in S+ class with only 554hp and weighs 902kg. Despite the very low weight and a sizeable amount of hp, the handling and slow acceleration is what absolutely screws this car over and yet it is in the same class as the 311, the best dealer car and S+ car for most tracks.
Other issues not mentioned in the video that are very well prominent are:
Black screen (Missing OBB file) I am not sure how this is still around.
Infinite loading screen upon starting up. This is due to some sort of location error and is solved by using a VPN to connect to a different region.
Lack of proper anticheat
Buying/winning cars and then not appearing in your garage. I believe the issue to be server sided
Payments going though but rewards for payments not being awarded. Again server sided issues.
Rewards from single player also experience the same issue and may not be awarded or a paint may not be available due to server sided issues.
The livery glitch can be exploited to use any car in any class. A prominent example that has been seen countless times is fast S+ class or X class cars being used in much slower races.
Although not perfectly proven yet, the game may be stuck permanently in 60fps mode even if you set it to 30fps. Some people say there is no framerate limit, but it seems to only be those people that experience that, not to mention they use some weird performance tracking applications. Though I do know that fps is unlocked during loading screens.
As a returning early player, this game is certainly the definition of wasted potential and I'm disappointed to see very little change after 6 years. The singleplayer is still trash and multiplayer is fun at first but gets old quickly.
What's the point of spending money on a high-end car? There's barely anything to do with it. The game doesn't even have a proper class-based race mode and we are stuck doing goofy non-contact races in free roam using the chat as a "green light". Even FR legends at least have a proper red light green light ffs.
What's the point of adding/licensing new tracks? From a business perspective, it does not motivate players to spend money (like the premium/import cars do). From a gameplay perspective, it doesn't add any substance to the game without proper race modes.
TL;DR : I'm not saying that new content is bad, but without the gameplay to support it, it's pointless. So as said in the video, they really should focus on gameplay first before new content.
I agree with all of that, especially the lack of race modes. This game is called Assoluto RACING for god's sake.
Pretty much sums it up, Assoluto would be great if it had the career mode of RR3 along with the car list. I always thought that these two games have the features that would make both of them great. RR3 needs assoluto physics and graphics while assoluto needs the car variety and career mode.

1:55 - It's kind of funny because it's ironic. Literally has no actual racing in a game called Absolute Racing. Even the time trials are half a**ed. There are no ghost cars or even delta times to the leader.
3:41 - That's because they stick to their one single programmed path. Literally can be made in several of minutes. They should have multiple paths to take, but apparently the person who coded it only wrote like 5 lines of commands and called it a day. Whoever wrote the code probably has zero experience in game development.
5:08 - Don't have any specifics to say about the MP, but man they literally have millions of ways to improve it. Ranked, collisions and safety rating that you just brought up, spectator mode etc. Yet they have time to implement unnecessary stuff like replay centers which is literally useless and brings nothing to the table.
8:42 - Easily can be fixed by implementing an anti cheat system like Easy Anti Cheat program. Though idk if performance would tank on phones but it's better than nothing.
8:51 - Clearly an oversight which nobody brought up.
9:43 - They're unoptimized because they don't seem to know how to compress the textures. Ofc the performance will drop if you put in 4K quality texture or something. I honestly don't see much of a difference when you change graphics options, whether be low or max settings.
10:11 - Back in the early days of Assoluto, hotfix patches existed let me remind you. They're more than capable than you think.
10:27 - Another easy fix, seperate race/drift/drag specs from dealer cars, implement new classes for them like for example; race cars being classed as R3/R2/R1 class depending on their performances etc.
There are many more stuff which they could improve upon, like a pity system for imports/gacha and so on. But they seem more to care about scamming people every update.

It became a shameless money grab and that's when I stopped playing. Matter of principle. If a game is pay to play, I'm not interested. Doesn't matter whether it's EA or Infinity vector. Making people spend a lot of real money on a game like this which puts them in a huge advantage compared to those who are not ready to dump pretty large amounts of money into the game is the scummiest thing you can do. If you're one of the very early players like I was, this almost feels like an insult :)

There are many other problems like:
1 You can't add a bodykit to your car
2 everytime u get a free import coupon u get a rim or a paint and a car after a long time
3 they should make it more realistic like when u crash ur car a part falls from it
4 they should add some new cars and new car companies
5 they should add vinyls to customize our car
6 and it's the most important which is to fix the sound of the lexus LFA because the sound of the lfa is not the real sound
I guess these issues are still prevalent but things like adding bodykit and more cars are a little too much to ask from the devs

Bodykits will never happen thanks to imports.
Tickets do not guarantee import cars.
Soft body physics wouldn't be easy to simulate with the level of graphics AR has. Not to mention the models will have to be remade to compensate for missing/broken parts, not to mention the coding required to make certain parts strong or weak. Im unsure of any game that does soft body physics at with decent graphics that is available to both low and high end devices.
Based on a recent interview during the BitSummit event, the devs will primarily focus on adding JDM cars/brands over European and American cars/brands.
On a side note: Dodge was removed due to licensing issues. We are very lucky that we even get to keep our cars though.
Not sure if liveries will ever become a thing. One thing I can tell you is that the old models have UV maps that make no sense whatsoever, however the new models do have better UV maps. Although they still have many more cars to remodel, I can only see liveries possibly happening when it comes to visual customization.
lfa just needs higher pitch. The modding team has fixed it in the past, but the most recent update changed sounds and we have been unable to remake the mod since the old one is now outdated. On the topic of modding, it is possible to install our mods so that you can have both bodykits and liveries. Our mods do not interfere with a car's physics and are purely visual

-The rearview mirror is wierd
-Why are they not allowing the top most part of the screen for button mapping, i couldn't use my L1R1 trigger for the gear buttons.
What controller do you use? I am able to map the L1 and R1 as gears with my wireless PS4 controller
I just want to have a small part of the shutoko bayshore, an improved engine tuning system, like: camshafts, individual or bigger throttle bodies, injectors, exhaust manifolds, etc. Few body kits and to FIX THE GODDAMN FWD CAR PHYSICS, THEY BEHAVE LIKE SH*T I MEAN, EG SIR2 VTEC DEVELOPING 168HP MAKING 0-100 IN 11 SECONDS WTFF??? I want engine customization to be free, at least with rpm limit..
The only point here I cannot agree with is their update pace, or rather, the lack of it. While it is unimpressive, the small team limits their progress.
I agree, but if they can shift their resources to gameplay, it would be worth the wait. The content updates like cars or tracks last for a short time but the gameplay updates will last longer.
Also why do we not get rewards when drifting or hitting apex touches while in multiplayer?

That's cool, but it won't mean anything in the long run if the devs never make any actual gameplay out of it. It's just another track to get another gold medal on and never touch again outside of multiplayer
The ai is way too easy, there's no point in actually going to custom race if you want something exciting. Everyone just uses it to grind money.

It's like there's a goddamn curse on mobile racing games that forces em to be absolutely infuruiating for no reason. It feels like there's no racing game on mobile thay doesn't have horrible flaws that are never fixed
my main problem with assoluto are the ridiculously fast qualifying times in the unmodified series. some are better than others - but the fact you can't tune your cars any further than just tire pressure and camber is infuriating. It becomes impossible to bring out the maximum potential the car you're using has, and will result in sub-par times. i'm constantly running short on the nurburgring in my lotus 3-eleven because it doesn't like taking fast corners, and it just hates taking corners at reasonably high speeds at all. at that point it's impossible to get qualifying time and ruins the experience...
They are possible though. That is simply an issue of skill, the 311 should very well be perfectly capable of getting the qualifying time.

4.50 i cant agree you say i will drive as bad as i can? While u use tillt and manual transmission and u handle that 3 eleven like a pro with slider imagin a beginner on 3 eleven on first corner he would fly out of the map all so he would have problem to handle that powerfull car that easy
tbh i only play on Nürburgring bc of the weird understeer. It sounds weird but other tracks have very big curves wich sucks to drive around because of that weird understeer. It might just be a skill issue for me but idk. And the handling is also weird when drifting it's just doing it's own thing idk how to explain that but if you do a hard 180 degrees spin the wheels just lock up and you can't really countersteer it anymore. And the launches are also broken the wheels just spin for too long wich isnt really like that irl. But at the end of the day it's a really impressive mobile game and i believe the devs don't have enough ressources to fix these things in a short time but i hope it gets better soon

Every single of this game's issue is annoying.
Plus, I dunno about everyone else but it seems to me that the only way you can import cars is through buying gold coins with real life money which kinda sucks.
I've finished every single race in my career, and then what? Can't possibly do anything better - I can only race some slow AIs and test my cars -_-
Anyway, your should put more GT4 soundtracks into your videos since it's so darn relaxing just like the others said.

I have primarily watched ads to get gold and I make sure to login everyday. I make sure to get the gold the devs giveaway after an update or event.

The amount of grip on the dirt is still abnormal. It is similar to when I was kart racing in dirt ovals, however over the night, rubber builds up on the track and everyone benefits from the added grip and they slide a lot less even though they are racing on dirt. This is what I think the current dirt physics feel like.

Yes. Understeer. Goodness almighty. I've been ragging on about this for years. I.e. GT86 has eco tires, it should be pretty lively on the rear end but no. Unmodified GT86 never slides and it is painfully difficult to powerslide it if you tried.
As for Italian cars: 131 abarth 💚🤍❤
Italian manufacturers like ferrari , alfa romeo , lambo and pagani charge a high amount of money for licence .

Understeer at slow speeds is because you are turning too much. The game doesn’t limit your steering angle enough. This wasn’t the case before just like you said, the game used to turn this limiter off at a slower speed than now, so you have to physically steer less in order to drive cleanly
It makes sense why the understeer happens, but the way the game handles it does *not* make much sense
@@KurianfromIndia They have stated in an interview during the BitSummit event that they would focus primarilly on Japanese brand cars. We may see other brands/cars in the future, but expect more JDM to come than European or American brands

The issue for me with this game is it is not that realistic as in when you are in low gears but high rpms tires just spin aimlessly which is unrealistic since the tires have to grip at some point they only grip at like 135km/h on the carrera gt (i compared it to ac and the carrera grips at around 40-60km/h depending on how rough the launch is) and it understeers alot at high and low speeds and when you try to go at extreme low speeds and take a corner it just wants to slide (same with many other cars) also AWD cars have extreme understeering which is kinda dumb since awd cars at low speeds on track (speeds less then 150km/h) handle great i really dont understand how the physics work and also cars dont like going into corners the wide turn way and understeer the ai when i first experienced it they seem like they have literally 100% grip and i barely have any and they can do perfect corners but they dont know how to really go around a track cars are under pwoered too sadly

You don't, you win imports by spending money and hoping you get something good. There is no body kit customization in the game whatsoever

Multiplayer 1v1 races: True, the classes are too wide, had an s class race the other day, my Renault Zoe was matched against a Time Attack Cuppacino🤣🤣🤣. I will put it like this, 30 secs later we weren't racing.
Story Modes: I think thats a problem every "real driving simulator" has. PC, Console or mobile, sims don't have a good story/career mode(if they even have one), they are all half baked and seem to be thrown in as an afterthought. Though to be fair, it would be difficult to create both a realistic driving experience & an immersive story/career.
Btw is the lotus 311 still good for mid 5:50 time on the nurb?
There is no story in AR. Not sure why you put it like that. A story would be much more difficult to create than a challenging career if we're being honest here.
The Lotus 311 may still be capable of sub 6 minutes. The last updated Nur list was in 2.10 and the 311 ran a 5:56

Ar is just money grab devs add more cars just so they can earn money game is out for 8 years and ai is more or less same and most stuff is same except gambling this game feels liek world of tanks blitz but you get bored after playing for 10 minutes

The company is worth over a million dollars apparently, it was revealed in an interview in 2020 or 2021 a little while ago
I'm gonna add some things to this conversation.
1. Overall I think this game isn't bad but it could be better. They could improve more on what you said like "adding Cr cars more often" bc I'm here with like almost 300k cr Bc I don't know what to do with them.
2. The dev refuse to acknowledge the bugs that's in the game, but when a lot of ppl complain about it, it takes them almost half a year for it to be fixed and yet for another bug to pop up.
3. Updates they are very inconsistent like what I said on the paragraph. It takes 6 months to just have a small update with little to no improvements into the game other than having a new small map and like 2-4 new cars.
4. They really need to fix some of the issues with the events. They're fun but I see way too many ppl to have either impossible lap time and drift scores. I feel like I'm the only one having this issue but when events end and it a new week the events either says "event ended" or it's just the grey background with no events.
5.They should add collision into the game it could add a good touch into the game with like tandem drifting with ppl, playing tag in a big map with friends, or like racing with ppl in Nurburgring
Well that's all I can think of thank you for reading. over all i feel like the Devs are trying their best but we know they can do better the game just lacks with a lot of things that can be easily improved.

Maybe the one that gets you like 2k cr for sitting for a minute but Im not sure if its patched out or not. Its called the Yamanashi cr bug I think, you can look it up

Additions to the list from my POV:
1- Adding the ability to create instant events. This would be instantly popular because instead of playing one event for a week you could play 10-15 min race and drift events and earn decent Cr and gold. The events would require participants to pay either gold or Cr before entering and podiums would get rewarded I feel. This could also include race and drift instant events and could be limited to classes or HP ranges.
2- A Monthly/Bi-monthly battle pass system. This would be a great way to introduce import cars and paints and rims to players and Infinity Vector would still benefit from the system. They could also add player customization like profile pics, banners, avatars and so on into the BP which would make it more interesting. Assoluto would be the FIRST mobile racing game to have a BP system if they bring it, which would definitely make it more unique and attract lots of attention.
Overall AR is a dope game with dope graphics, cars and physics but it definitely lacks in player satisfaction. Hopefully they see this video and take some advice from it🫡
