I've had great experiences with Bonehead so I'm not surprised they just gave you what you wanted instead of trying to upsell you to their actual flight helmets (which are cool but significantly higher priced than the standard skydiving series). Good people, not just great value/features for the money but built at a quality level that is same as other products costing 3x-4x as much - I have nothing but good things to say about their sales and customer support. I'm not an affiliate but I still try to hook as many people up with Bonehead as I can...people should use the best in class if they can afford it and this ticks both boxes, handily.
I've always loved skydiving helmets for open cockpit aircraft use such as ultralights, AirCam, Gyroplanes etc. Now remove your sliding canopy and give that a try with the new helmet. It looks "tough".
I’m going to take it off and try it. This helmet turned out to be better than I would have expected. Super comfortable and light. Might be a little warm in the summer, but right now it’s perfect
Awesome! I'd like to set one of these up. What are you using for the mics? I saw a set of ultimate ears so do you you just use an adapter to go from 1/8" to the aviation plug?

I completely agree. All the guys at bonehead have been amazing! There is some cool stuff in the works moving forward.
Thanks for saying that Russell! :)

It’s it’s the 3.5mm plug on the back for the ultimate ears
I absolutely love my Lift helmet, but I can't deny that those look bad ass.
I’ve tried on the lift before, definitely a good helmet, but I love both of my bonehead helmets.
Looks so fun to be playing in the air with a plane, do you have a passenger seat
Unfortunately not in the pitts. Barely enough room for one person haha
