I used to rip my old DVDs and then burn them to new discs to conserve the wear and tear on the originals. VERY long time ago and I can't even remember what software I used. I am going to try both of these methods and let you know which one I prefer. Thank you so much for this tutorial. Your generosity and time spent doing it are appreciated!
Thank you. Finally a video where the creator is not in the process of overdosing on pain pills and leaving out important information. You're the fucking man.
In the days of windows XP I used Nero to burn several MP4 movie files onto a DVD Disc and was able to play them back on my TV. I still have those DVD discs and they play on my smart TV as well. Why am I mentioning all this ! Because, today, in this day and age of technology I am unable to do the same thing with Nero as it converts the mp4 files to vob format and if lucky for space it will burn only 2 movies, not half a dozen. I have tried various new software like DVD Flick and they all do the same thing like converting them to vob format. If I burn the mp4 as data files it shows up as unsupported video on my TV. Any ideas as to how I could possibly work around this to do what I used to do when I had windows XP ? Cheers
Hey I just watched your video. It’s kinda late haha but if you see this I have found a way to create your own image for the menu. But not fully. You go to the dvd flick destination file in your folders go to templates creat a new folder. Then pick any of them I had chose orange LED. Copy all files one by one and move to new folder. For main.bmp you edit with paint and put your picture on top of the old one. For example.bmp put your own picture and put the play / resume and other text over your new pic exactly the way the the old was. When u make the new pictures in paint save as new and copy and paste to your new folder. Same with background.bmp. Make sure the example.bmp and other .bmp I listed are the same in your folder as they were in the already existing. Here’s an example- if it was example.bmp put example.bmp in you new folder the one with your picture.
Yes, thanks for including this. It seems as though we can create our very own custom menu through this route. DVD Munu Can be found here: C:\Program Files (x86)\DVD Flick\templates\Orange LED There's around 8 Bitmap Image files, one font file .TTF, and a template.cfg file. To change the Menu title font. You can open the template file in the Notes app. Find and Replace Orange LED's Menu font Samson with your updated font like Ariel. Be careful to not break the menu fonts with fontSize = 36; or you may need to adjust every option manually.
It worked ! I tried it out and it worked like a charm MY DAD I SOO HAPPY but I didn't use "img disk" I just used the "default burner" in windows (sure its laggy at first but after 30 seconds it's GREAT !📀😁
On Image Styler can you have video backgrounds for the menu and have transitions for the menu buttons? For example creating a menu video in After Effects or Premier Pro and importing it to the menu screen
I have problem can you help me please, when I click create DVD and choose the destination, it saids that : Your project's destination folder path contains non-standard, Please use a different path without any of such characters. how I can fix this
Hi Remy. You can cut some parts of the movie by right-clicking on your movie (first title) and select properties. Then click on the wrench tool that's located on the right. From there you can cut parts of your movie.
all ik is that if you want your own menu you need to open dvdflicks files to add the pick to templates but i think you need to change the structure file first or somthng
DVDStyler made the job... BUT - subtitles don't present on screen even though they're in file and can be choosen in subtitle menu (doesn't work in VLC and also in DVD player). And converted output video file is not as smooth as original file - even though original file is 24.97 FPS and output file is 25 FPS. I tried to change FFMPEG converter to internal, but there's no difference. Any ideas?
ConvertXto DVD used to be the best but they caherge and I think don't update to new formats anymore, not sure though.Much better than Styler or Flick if it can convert the file format.
QUESTION. DVD flick when installing says it is free but asks for your credit card info and then says you will not be charged for this free membership. Is this normal? I stopped RIGHT THERE.
Hi Frankandstern. That is not normal. It should not ask for any credit card info. Did you download DVD Flick installer from the sourceforge website? I'll run some test on my end.
Is it possible to create the DVD Files in DVD Flick without using a menu? I am working on a college art project that would use multiple burned discs. It would be helpful if menus didn't pop up for each individual disc I burn, and just played each film right away when inserted into the DVD Player. Thank you!
your vid was so helpful thank you!! do have one question tho, how do you know if it'll burn to the dvd you have plugged in through a driver? 🥲 like would the program just detect the driver already or do you have to manually input it?
Hi. Thanks for the comment! It should select the drive that has the DVD in it. If you have one DVD drive on your computer then by default it should just see it. If you are using an USB external dvd drive then you will need to manually select it. I double check by looking at Windows Explorer and see what the drive letter assignment is to my DVD drive. For example, if my DVD is destinated as 'E: DVD RW Drive,' I would make sure in the burning software that it selected using the 'E:'

DVD flick and images burner sucks it worked for like 2 movies and then it was trash it started pixelating or skipping I wasted so many blank DVDs and I had it for 1 half years do not waste your time
have you tried using the other app the guy suggested other than DVD flick AND you can just burn the file without img burner(It just gives more advanced options)

do you have a software that allows ypou to add like a song to the main menu ??
Thanks for the tutorial. The steps where you talked about the DVD Styler really helped me out.

guys try it , It worked FOR ME ! (SERIOUSLY)
neither are working for me DVD flick won't even open and DVD Styler keeps on failing when I try to create an ISO file
Does image burn make a difference in whether or not the dvd will work??
I think so🤔
Thanks so much for this video. QUESTION: why not just burn the DVD using DVD Flick only? Why use Imgburn at all?
I was thinking the exact same thing after reading the DVD Flick guide
@@ghostrider511000I’m trying to burn it there directly
@@jorgosgerco325not long found out, you can burn it directly but only if you install imgburn first as DVD flick uses imgburn to burn it

i always get a no vobus found with dvd styler. any help on that?
Yo you literally saved my life. Thank you so much man! - Studio Mise
Nice video and good disclaimer 👍
Does the audio of the video as well as the video come through to the disc on both apas
Thank you!
I did everything in the video and used both apps but it keeps failing and when it burns the disk isnt spinning at all
i did all of this but img burn considers my dvd a "content type data" while on yours it says "content type dvd"
Excellent!
Can this work with just a phone?
I MIGHT HAVE REPLY TO ALL THE QUESTIONS IN THE COMMENTS 😅
When I followed the link in the description box to download ImageBurn, my computer quickly detected and blocked a virus, so I can't download it.
Thank You very much. But i wish to know how to cut parts of a movie in DVD Styler and place the parts in their box.

Does it work on maxell?
is it safe to do this on a laptop?
It works but theres no sound on mine. How do i get the sound working?
Did you burn only the VIDOE_TS file ??
If you burnt the check whether you burnt the AUDIO_TS file even
Why does DVDFLICK turn my MP4 files upside down?
The MP4 won't even open on DVD Flick. Useless.
You have to convert the file first 😊..
