The Pre-incarnate Christ is, even at that time He existed in heaven, "The Son" of The Most High. When utilizing the word "son", it denotes an offspring begotten by His Father, who existed "before" His Son.
The Most High does not expect us to ignore the common sense He gave us to understand that a Father exists before His offspring.

The scriptures does not reveal our Lord with two natures. He did miracles by the Holy Spirit, given to him without measure. Yet his identity was that of the Logos. He humbled himself to become a man.

Does this ever cover the Holy Spirit. Almost over and nothing yet. Most mysterious person of the Trinity.

Does it matter that Jesus came down from heaven? No it only matters that the Holy Spirit came down from heaven, as no man has gone to heaven without the Holy Spirit taking him.

I challenge anyone to quote a bible verse that uses the term 'incarnation', 'human nature & spiritual nature' I claim these are human terms concocted by theology philosophers from the 2nd century onwards in an attempt to claim an understanding of the relationship between God & Jesus Christ. I suggest they are the result of the influence of Hellenistic ideas prevelent at the time. Would anyone like more proof? I can gladly supply it. Its well documented.

Well, what terms would you use to describe Jesus' nature?

    • @kiwihans100

@@Mike65809 Not easy to be exact! The bibles is my guide not church fathers's philosophy! In Luke. 1:31 Gabriel explained "You will conceive!. By definition one of her eggs would have needed to be fertilised. This we know didnt happen with a human seed. Gabriel explained that "Holy Spirit will come upon you & overshadow you" ) Verse 35). Thus Mary was made pregnant by the power of God's Spirit which transferred the life of |God's Son who said many times that "I came down from heaven" ( words to that effect). How could Jesus be borm without the sin of Adam? ( which would have effected Jesus from Mary, a devout but imperfect human? "The HS will overshadow you" or in other words, shield, protect Jesus from any imperfection. Thus Jesus was God's Son. a perfect man. the exact equivelent of Adam whose offspring Jesus came to save. ( He is called by Paul the second Adam see 1 Cor 15:45, which is further confirmation Jesus was a perfect human being ( but anointed by God's Spirit in recognition that he was Gid's Son. See matt 3:16). Jesus confirmed he was a complete human soul ( Matt 20:28) Isa 53:12 confirms.

In John 6:33 & 6:38 Jesus does NOT speak of himself, Jesus is speaking of the Holy Spirit that came down from heaven, without which no man go to heaven.

Jesus 'Explained' by simple, straighforward words that he had lived in heavan ' with his Father before he came to earth " (John 17:5). He also said "God sent forth his only begotten son into the world". Who did God send? someone who BECAME or who already WAS God's Son"? Also when he said "I am the bread that came down from heavan" when did he BECOME 'bread'? Obviously as you take literally Jesus own words, He WAS alread 'the bread' in heavan and he WAS already God's Son in Heavan. So these words clearly show He was NOT a 'human incarnation' only PART of God's Son while on earth, he WAS THE SON OF GOD! Listen once more "I am th living one. I was dead but now I am alive for ever and ever" THE SAME PERSON that was on earth, came to life and returned to heavan! No a reuniting of a human nature with a spirit nature or that would be how God's Son is yet & now! Can we imagine a physical, 6 foot man at the right hand of God Almighty? Who dwells in a light so bright he would caudse instant death to any human eyes seeing him in person? ( John 1:14). The 'incarnatuion' is all lies!

Not too sure what you are saying, but Scripture is clear that the Logos, who was God, became flesh. So his spiritual identity was that of the Logos. He humbled himself to become a man and then even humbled himself more to die on a cross (Phil. 1). As for causing death to see him, John fell down at his feet as dead (Rev. 1). So it is not a lie. The Word, the Son of God was incarnated.

The word & idea of Jesus 'incarnation' is a false teaching. It denies The true sacrificing love of the Father, God & also that of His deat Son who ACTUALLY, TOTALLY said " I came down from heavan". Then the Father said at his baptism " This IS my SON the beloved. ( He did NOT have 'two natures' a spiritual one and a 'human' one. Where does the bible teach this idea?) Paul said "Though he was rich ( as a glorious spirit Son in heavan) he BECAME poor for our sakes" Yes he gave his position in the 'bosom position with the father' to literally become a perfect man of flesh and blood here on earth. Part of him was not still up in heavan with the Father. Thats why Jesus only prayed to "My Father" We deny God's true Love for us if we believe that God didnt really send his son totally to the earth! It is only believed 'Christ had two natures' to justify the 'trinity' doctrine!

By denying the incarnation the humanity of Jesus is denied, and so the salvation of man.

    • @kiwihans100

@@TomArmstrong48 Its exactly the opposite! by denying that "Jesus Christ CAME in the flesh" ( 2 John 7) and claiming only a PART, a 'human nature' came rather than the WHOLE Person, the entire Son of God, this is in fact what John was talking about!. The NT abounds with statements that show that ALL of the Son came to the earth! One example for starters "Though HE was RICH, HE BECAME POOR" for our sakes" ( 2 Cor 8:9). Then, having used the example of Jesus who gave his ALL, Paul counsels his readers not to give of their 'surplas'. Now If the 'spiritual' and more important part of the Son remained in heavan, and only a mere 'human nature' was formed that died for us, wouldnt THAT also be a mere 'surplas'? Yet Paul said that "Jesus became POOR for us?. So biblically Jesus was a complete and total human being, he had left heavan. God had aknowledged him at his baptism, THIS IS MY SON THE BELOVED" ( matt 3:17) Who was God talking about? How could "His Son" still be up in heavan when the Father said those words? Admit it, You have to believe in the 'two natures' to make valid the 'trinitl' doctrine which raises all sort of contradictions!

@@TomArmstrong48 Thats a 'twist' of the facts! Jesus WAS a human, totally, completely, "conceived' in Mary's womb! No word 'incarnation' 'human nature plus 'spiritual nature' is found in the NT. Only that GOD'S SON CAME TO EARTH AS A HUMAN. I deny a false philosophic teaching about Jesus from the 2nd century. But I DONT deny That Jesus IS God's Son, I dont deny he died for me! I also DONT deny he was DEAD for three days that the Father raised him from the dead. I also dont deny that until he returned to heavan, the son was NOT in heavan as some 'spiritual part of the trinity'! Please dont twist people's words!
