My day is instantly better once you post! You’re my comfort person. I always feel so much better and more inspired to create art after watching your videos! They’re so calming and peaceful, and I love the way you speak about different topics 💗💗
@@valerielin I suffer from severe anxiety. I just came across your videos today and they calm me like nothing else has been able to do in a long time. Not too mention the asmr sounds and aesthetically pleasing video footage. Thank you so much 💙
My daughter will be in Berlin tomorrow, so I told her about the aquarium. She too is an artist, and decided to visit Germany to look at the architecture of old and new structures. She's in Amsterdam at the moment and has been for 5 days. We are Australian so it's very different there to here. Thank you again for another beautiful episode Valerie 😊❤️❤️
I was listening to a podcast that said, “it’s important to live life by design rather than emotion. Basically, sticking to a routine is what allows us to be the healthiest version of ourselves (especially when you're fighting these demons ex. OCD for me). I’ve had to overhaul how I approach studying, working out and taking care of my brain (journaling) by practising mediocre consistency. Now I try to put in consistent 50-60% effort into my studying, exercise and journaling habit - to make sure I do it I began recording it and posting it on YT. Because historically I have a habit of going too hard, not being able to sustain the Herculean effort, giving up and hating myself. So now I’m trying to give a small, consistent mediocre effort everyday. And its crazy how it adds up, and its crazy how when I get into a slump im better prepared to get out of it.
Just a quick comment: your eye twitching can be caused simply by low magnesium level. It should go back to normal after eating something like nuts or dark chocolate. Much love
I am loving your channel!!! Your thoughts are very healthy. “If something overwhelms you, set a limit to it.” That seems such a simple statement but hearing that come from you in the calm manner and relaxed state I get into watching you paint - it changes my life. Simplicity is best. I do not like too many choices for anything either. I prefer to shop in small stores when I go out. I do love taking virtual trips with you !! I’m an introvert by nature and I feel as if I’ve gone out exploring just watching you go to the places you visit. Your art is breath taking. You speak my thoughts about many things and I feel not alone in the way my mind works. Thank you for this content 💛 I found treasure in your channel

I'm so glad, that after stressing out about my project that is due, I took a break by watching your video. It's always so lovely to see the effort you put into bettering your art and your videos. Thank you so much for putting this up!
Really don't know how you are getting this much knowledge but you have an extraordinary intelligence . The way you speak ,the way you convey complex message in a simple way it makes me overwhelmed . And I am inspired by you ❤❤
Valerie, thanks for this video. Another life lesson based on your experiences. You are the complete package! Beginning with your voice, the music, your art and all your guidance is amazing! Your painting is fantastic. A couple of weeks ago, I went to a park about 15 minutes from where I live. They have a pond and this year they had over one hundred Koi fish. It was amazing to see all fish from big to small and the sun reflecting the pond was breathtaking. As soon as I got back home, I did a small painting. Very rewarding experience. I congratulate you on all your effort and determination to make your life easier. A suggestion for your eyes, use the 20-20-20 rule this will allow you to rest your eyes and feel better. You are doing great and your inspiration is contagious! Much love and blessings for each day. Take care and be safe.
its really cool how you show us your real process during de video like talking about your desk and the way you sit. i used to feel frustrated when i had to change or reorganize my work space in the middle of something. like why do people have such organized, clean and objetive desks or spaces while i am always struggling for not having things really clear in my mind BEFORE i start anything on paper. idk thanks for the comfort your videos bring me
i always make a mistake of planning to watch while I'm doing my work (background). Fails every time. And the philosophical elements make it downright impossible to half-concentrate. What I learned was making a complex and detail (seemingly chaotic) scene of an ocean floor simplified into manageable geometric forms. I also learned you are as complex as your art. For me it's a contrast. An artist listening to the stoics. I admire Stoicism but I'm impartial. I lean Plato and Aristotle and in turn Aquinas. Another complexity: you're able to counterbalance Aurelius by saying you don't have to agree...but then Stoicism and being an artist go so well together: pain is a virtue. And you showed it. And your sense of humor is epic! You make my week with your videos. Thank you.
Dear Valerie, I think i hit the hardest point in my life. Struggling with my relationship, and struggling with myself even more. No motivation to do anything, no interest in anything. I got sick of watching youtube, listening to music, laying in bed, but i couldn't get myself to do anything else...I just wanted to disappear. I felt so much pain - I couldn't figure out who i was and I still truly can't... I came across one of your videos and found comfort instantly. Your content is different than anything else I've ever seen - it just sparks with peace and good energy. I binge watched some of your videos, felt so nice, then got to doing some stuff. I never usually comment on videos, but i need to thank you, dearest Valerie. Never stop doing what you do. You are very wise, talented and inspiring. And i believe you put me on the right path, i will try my best to pull myself out of this. Best wishes, you angel 💓
"if something is overwhelming you, just set a limit to it" I've been feeling overwhelmed by everything lately; even in a relationship that's healthy. I'm happy that the algorithm somehow brought me here. Thanks a lot for making this video, it lifted something that has been blocking me for a while.
Either you have the most wise & loving parents, and/or you are an artistic savant! Truly enjoyed your commentary, watching you work, and thoughtful suggestions. Just retired TODAY, am 66 and listening to you was incredibly motivational😘 thk you!!

I was on the verge of a mental & physical breakdown thanks to consecutive super hectic 12 hr work weeks and last night i was like ‘I shouldn’t scroll youtube after staring at laptop for 12 hrs straight’ but i did and somehow stumbled upon your previous video which i watched half of and half today morning and i feel so better and inspired to break the loop and take time off even if for 10 mins to just sit. Much love ❤️
This is my third video Iv watched on your channel.. the first video half way through I put my phone down, i never put my phone down .. when the video ended I wanted more .. so I watch another and I’m not sure if you are a therapist or a hypnotist but I was mesmerized. The art, your voice, the music, the editing, the talk about depression, happiness and loneliness it all works together! you bring me a sense of peace that is very calming. Thank you so much ❤️
It amazes me how much your current videos reflect my life... Starting from mindlessly scrolling my phone, being alone and now this one about loop. Thank you so much for the content and inspiration ❤
Hey Valerie, this is a masterpiece :) Honestly, I’m into aquarelle lately and I love your style and talent, but not only in painting. The calming background music not being too loud, your wonderful voice, the super motivating things you talk about, how you help everyone to open up and experience new fields (like the fractals), the impressions we get of Berlin… just everything. I am worried though you are overworking yourself, and I know that too well, especially this twitching eye thing. Please take care of yourself and time off when you need it. I love how you don’t only show the super bright side, but be nice to yourself too, please. And I don’t mean that kind of “I’ll have a great breakfast” nice, I mean the “okay, I still don’t care as much as I want to, and I hate it but I admit that”, the “I let myself down - in whatever way - and now I will stand up for myself and allow myself to be human” nice. I’m not sure if this is relevant to you, but I got the impression we have a lot in common concerning our working attitude… I really hope you have many many happy moments in your life right now :) Love you, please love yourself as much as we do - and take exquisite care of yourself ❤️
I'm happy that there is a Turkish option in your videos, every word you said made me motivated. I've only just gotten to know you, but I've already warmed up because I have an interest in art and painting, I hope you will be happy and do what you want, stay healthy.😊
I love your sense of humor and insightfulness. I’m learning more patience and quietness with my young adult sons, as they work through what society is going through….while trying to be encouraging that they too have a purpose. 💖🌠💐🌌🙏💗
How beautiful. I love aquariums and have painted different underwater scenes especially once I visited a reef and floated over it in a glass bottomed boat. It was so enchanting with all the different colours, forms, the movements of the little fishes and the play of light through the water, it was a mesmerising and utterly magical world. Thank you for taking me back to these enchanted places and spaces. This was so evocative to me. Also the mathematical formula is very reassuring as it reminds that repetition isn’t boring when it reproduces itself in so many differing ways. Makes one’s daily tasks a little more endurable and embraceable. Blessings always to you for your lovely, dreamy content and gentle wisdom.
100% inspired 🤍🤍🤍🤍 loved the seas vibe, finding Nemo is magical, I think it was the first movie I've ever watched (and remembered) and whenever I see videos of the seas I get so surprised of how they did exactly the same in the animation
i had your same symptoms when it came to eyes getting tired and stuff. so I went to an eye doctor and told me that usually when your eye twitches it means that your eyesight is getting bad. he prescribed me new glasses with anti blue light and some eye drops and I felt so much better ❤️ Take care of your body please ❤️❤️❤️❤️
"If something is overwhelming you, just set a limit to it." I needed to hear that. I do get overwhelmed about how to go about learning to draw, paint, etc. Now I will think about setting limits for studying a book, an approach, etc. Thank you.
I love watching you paint with gouache and watercolor, these turned out so pretty! Your gouache technique opened a door for me a few months ago as I was struggling to follow a different approach. I'm really enjoying it now. For eye twitching, it could be a magnesium deficiency, foods that can help: spinach, pumpkin seeds, almonds, avocado, figs, chocolate, and bananas. Thanks for making another lovely video!
To keep colors vibrant I use 2 pots of water. One to remove the majority of the paint and the other to clean any residue. Makes for a cleaner brush. (and of course change water often) 😊thanks for your beautiful videos
Hey! Thank you as always.. this video was too something that hit me directly in my heart ( in a positive way😅). Being a person who loves maths and arts(drawing and painting) , it felt so good to hear someone I look up at talk about both of these things.. Also, when you said, " you don't have to agree on everything you hear or read" made me feel lot better.. It was just that I've never hear anyone say this and when I used to hear my classmates talk about a books and make it look like they agree on all the things written there and it's so good that everyone should while on the other hand I would not used to make me feel quite alienated but just a simple statement in this video made me feel 'it's ok' to not agree..on things. Thanks! Lots of love❤ Bye bye🌸❤
I am in love with your videos, Valerie! I find them comforting, inspiring, and - oh! - so profound! They are like a good old friend that shows something new and unexpected about life every time we meet. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being you and showing up in my world on the other side of the planet!
Hi Valerie I enjoy staying with things until I'm bored. Rest and change around similar to you. I'm finally learning water colors. I continue move abouts like all artists and continue to enjoy. One choice at a time. I enjoy you you're inspiring.
A tip for you twitching eyes - I had the same problem and have been told by a doctor that it is usually a sign of magnesium deficiency. It stopped soon after a started taking magnesium daily. Maby you could try it too.
I feel this so so deep connection to you even though we have never met and ive only seen 4 of your videos. The way you talk , how you move the things u think about your energy your jokes. I wish i can meet someone like you sometime in my lifetime.
I too needed some inspiration and just went to the aquarium a few days ago. I took so many pics that I didn’t even know where to start as well! I must have come home with an additional 1500 pics!
I cannot say how, exactly, but there is a calming quality about your videos. A few days ago I could hardly get out of bed for work when I found this channel. It genuinely made my morning better, and day, then week better. When you mentioned you will read/listen to Marcus Aurelius "Meditations" I know you get it and it's why I like this channel: I cannot think of a book I love more. I hope you can enjoy and learn as much from his short personal journal as I have over the years. P.S. I haven't painted/drawn in years, but I may get back to it again. Thank you for your work.
Yes, Valerie, for the masking fluid, the best is to use an old brush and soap it… the other option I found useful, are the silicone tips, they are like like brushes but instead of the hairs of the brush, they have silicone tips, those I bought at the art store were big and more expensive… but I found that my mom, who’s a dentist use them in her practice and bought some useful packs with smaller nicer tips that like with masking fluid in watercolors and also found them useful for dry pastels as a tiny sfumino… 😊 The other thing is a molotow pen or there is one with a needle point, it’s tricky to use it anyway but brush free for finer details, hope it helps ❤
Hi Valerie...so happy to see your vlog 💜 Ok so for eyes...try soaking cold rose water in cotton pads and placing them on your eyes and maybe on temples and leave it there for 10mns! Its magic :) 100% agree - when something is happening over and over again...its a sign that we need to learn something from it and get out of that pattern! My most recent learning! Thank you and have a mindful and happy days ahead...till I see you again! 🍀
Wonderful studies. It looks liquid, wild, abstract. At the same time peaceful and lively. The simplified shapes make the pictures look lively. Like a look under water with open eyes. It's always amazing what you discover outside your comfort zone. Thanks Valerie 🌸
Your videos are so calming to me. It helps me think about taking my time to think to do things one at a time, dont rush through things, be happy for what im doing now and while im doing things dont stress about having to do anything else.
The artistic video is very meaningful, you have said the problem that many people face in life. It's the cycle of work, earning, and back work. We should stop to think about the present life, what we live for, whether money really helps us to be happy.
I usually use the masking fluid with soft clay tools. You can remove the masking so easily from it and spread the medium on paper 😊 I really love your videos, these are relaxing and peaceful 🥰🥰 Have a great sunday ^^
Valerie, I'm very impressed with this video of yours. The beauty of the underwater panorama is very rich in inspiration and you can pour it into your painting. You are very intelligent both in your visual expressions and in your words. This is amazing to me. I'm very inspired to continue painting and prepare some of my youtube-short videos. Your feedback will be very valuable to me. Thank you very much Valerie.
I found your channel when scrolling through Art on my tv about two weeks ago. I'm so glad I found you. Your videos have been so good for refreshing mental health and clearing stress. You've also inspired me to purge junk that I don't need in my home & reorganize. Thank you, Valerie for your videos and your "healing" of the mind and heart.
This is a masterpiece. Your video quality keeps getting better and more impressive. It feels like watching a movie. Please never stop doing this 😍 I really enjoyed every second of it. Thank you for your immense hard work that you put into each of your videos 🤍
Dear Valerie, you are such a lovely human being. I am quite happy to have found your channel and you inspire me to delve into my artistic side. I really enjoy listening to your musings in the videos. Thank you for being there. Anna
valerie, you do not know how much your content makes me feel an artist, instantly born in me a desire to paint! you inspire me a lot, keep doing this and i'm here to appreciate it
Hi, I think it would be good for your eyes to put the table perpendicular to the window, it's more ergonomic and you won't hurt your eyes. I hope that works. I love what you do, thanks for sharing it with us. :D
Valerie I think you are a very special person, I like your reflective approach to life and tasks. I'm not a young person, or a new artist just starting out, and yet I always learn something from your videos. 😊
New to this channel and I absolutely love it. Your artwork is amazing. Your voice is so calmly. The quality of the video is beautiful. Love, love, love it💕💕
So Serene! The way you put together your videos, your thoughts, the aquarium, the beautiful process of making a painting! its just Great effort, and I experience the joy of painting through your videos! Keep on going!💫🌟✨💝
I learned SO MANY things...especially about experiencing ease while letting the creation "emerge," about the process of using these materials, about the magic of your (the artist's) encounter with the page. BRAVO on your excellent vlog--it's really got me wanting to get back to my visual art (I'm a writer in Canada). Keep the videos coming. I plan to get a studio set up and be ready!! :) Thank you again.
It’s crazy how your latest videos really reflect my current life. The title alone hit me even before i began watching. But all of this is quite true and it can really do feel like that sometimes. There were countless of sleepless nights where i couldn’t sleep at all trying to find out what the future holds and no matter what I do, no matter how hard I try, there's nothing I can do to control what's going to happen. There were days where i felt completely out of track. I felt lost & confused every single day on what to do or where to go, constantly searching on something that i don’t even know what it is. Sometimes that just hits me in waves almost randomly and i’m tired of it, feeling like you know .. staying in your “ loop “ seeming like your not going anymore, just spinning your wheels on thin air. The only thing that has been with me always, whether it was sunny, raining, or snowing is art. Art is like that one thing on this existence we live in that takes you in another reality for quite some time. The unseen realities it unfolds seeing great works of art in the museums, filled with exciting history, great artistry, unconditional emotions & timeless beauty will make you wonder & forget all the bad things for a little while. All of us might feel like this sometimes, and the ocean is a huge place to get lost to, but hey, pause & breathe, everything’s going to be just fine, just keep on swimming and appreciate the chances we get to live every single day when we wake up and turn every negative emotion into something positive. Bit by bit, day by day, one at a time, slowly with peace of mind. There’s no need to rush cause good things take time, as we can’t rush art either! Do what makes you happy, stay at your craft, be good at it and believe in yourself always! Some people might just see your painting as a simple tiny aquarium with different kinds of fishes, but believe me, the ones who have hearts will see that you have painted a whole ocean! :) Thank you so much Valerie, i’m such a huge fan of your paintings!✨ Greetings from Vienna!💙
I am the kind of person who lives in a city where there is neither an aquarium nor a botanical garden... But such videos allow me to see more, to catch inspiration 🥰
At this point, I'm believing that you're my guardian angel. Whenever I need directions or start over something. I find your videos. I've just been traveling to my grandparent's home and while it is not bad, I felt mentally emotionally drained but their constantly saying that I need to do amazing, be the best; while IRL I struggle with my looped everyday routine and I am in fact unable to change it. Most of the time I laze around the whole day because I don't want to get into the same routine. But I have my high school final exams coming and they are very important for me. Thank you so much for making another video!!! I'll get right into watching it. Hope you're doing well Valerie
I know that feeling of creating..i work with rope and make many things out of macrame. Creating is so satisfying...like you I look at objects and recreate them through my art..Enjoy your videos.💕
Wowie McZowie! Gorgeous footage of the Aquarium, and beautiful impressions painted by you. :) Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, feelings and artwork. I so appreciate it. xo
I learned from this “Jump out of my box” or at least go into another corner and look across. Explore your subjects and materials. I enjoyed this video.

Much love ❤️
felt trap in the loop and suddenly found ur video again...:)thank you Valerie..
Your paintings have a seperate fan base. They are sooo beautiful. ❤
Magnesium really helps with twitches! My grandma taught me that and I’ve found that it does help ^^
Hey Valerie,
this is a masterpiece :)
Honestly, I’m into aquarelle lately and I love your style and talent, but not only in painting.
I’m not sure if this is relevant to you, but I got the impression we have a lot in common concerning our working attitude… I really hope you have many many happy moments in your life right now :)
Love you, please love yourself as much as we do - and take exquisite care of yourself ❤️
yesterday and today my days were difficult because my dog is sick, your video helped me and brought me so much calm, thank you for that 💙
I miss you so much don't deprive us of this creativity I think I watched your videos more than 15 times🥺💗
I'm happy that there is a Turkish option in your videos, every word you said made me motivated. I've only just gotten to know you, but I've already warmed up because I have an interest in art and painting, I hope you will be happy and do what you want, stay healthy.😊
The art of the Sea is the greatest inspiration! 🧜♀️🐙🐠🐬💕
Thanks for making another lovely video!
such a breath of fresh air
To keep colors vibrant I use 2 pots of water. One to remove the majority of the paint and the other to clean any residue. Makes for a cleaner brush. (and of course change water often) 😊thanks for your beautiful videos
This channel is so comforting. Thank you for sharing your gift
Thanks!
Lots of love❤
Bye bye🌸❤
Glad these words could comfort youu! Take care💗
Your natural ASMR rocks me
I enjoy your videos your art work is always so beautiful, it is a peaceable video and I feel calm when I listen to your voice . Thank u for sharing .
I too needed some inspiration and just went to the aquarium a few days ago. I took so many pics that I didn’t even know where to start as well! I must have come home with an additional 1500 pics!
You are the most magical TH-camr. 🤍🪞🕊 much love to you!
i was getting frustrated with my designs, your video helped me clear up my mind a lot and gave me a safe space to think. thank you valerie
Happy I could help :) !
Oh valerin u are such a beautiful soul .. your videos and your words inspire me .. thank u .. have a nice day 😊 💛 ✨
awwwee those fishies are the cutest things eva!!❤🎉Love your aesthetics, Valerie! it's great to see you try something beyond portraits.
You are such a breath of fresh air and I’m so happy I found you xx
Great to see your pushing your comfort levels, as always you’re so inspiring. Good work.
Hi Valerie...so happy to see your vlog 💜 Ok so for eyes...try soaking cold rose water in cotton pads and placing them on your eyes and maybe on temples and leave it there for 10mns! Its magic :)
100% agree - when something is happening over and over again...its a sign that we need to learn something from it and get out of that pattern!
Mejoras mi día cuando publicas un nuevo vídeo, tu canal me hace sentir a salvo y feliz. Aprecio tu contenido, gracias y cuídate querida ❤
*healing inside while watching* 🌱🌿☘️🦋
Valerie, your channel adds so much value to my life. It gives me food for thought and makes me want to break the monotonous cycles. It is gratifying.
This is a masterpiece. Your video quality keeps getting better and more impressive. It feels like watching a movie. Please never stop doing this 😍 I really enjoyed every second of it. Thank you for your immense hard work that you put into each of your videos 🤍
You're level of introspection is extremely attractive. I aspire to be this kind to myself!
Dear Valerie, you are such a lovely human being. I am quite happy to have found your channel and you inspire me to delve into my artistic side. I really enjoy listening to your musings in the videos. Thank you for being there. Anna
Marcus Aurelius is one of my references for Existence. 📖I like his "Meditations" a lot. 🌺
valerie, you do not know how much your content makes me feel an artist, instantly born in me a desire to paint! you inspire me a lot, keep doing this and i'm here to appreciate it
I love this video! Not only beautiful to listen to, but visually and spiritually brilliant. Thank you for this pleasure!
I feel better everytime I watch you painting and talking about different things ❤
Hi, I think it would be good for your eyes to put the table perpendicular to the window, it's more ergonomic and you won't hurt your eyes. I hope that works.
I love what you do, thanks for sharing it with us. :D
Вы такая чудесная и волшебная ✨ спасибо за ваши видео, они вдохновляют 🙂 здоровья вашим глазам 🙌
Valerie I think you are a very special person, I like your reflective approach to life and tasks. I'm not a young person, or a new artist just starting out, and yet I always learn something from your videos. 😊
Your video calm me as always, it's like stopping time for a while and taking a breathe
Hi Valerie your videos are so calming and always teach me something new. I am obsessed with your paintings. Can you please do a house tour.
Thank you so much Valerie,
i’m such a huge fan of your paintings!✨
Greetings from Vienna!💙
I am the kind of person who lives in a city where there is neither an aquarium nor a botanical garden... But such videos allow me to see more, to catch inspiration 🥰
Valerie, I wanna say a huge THANK YOU for comforting and inspiring videos! l love your works and the magickal fusion of your creativity and wisdom!❤
Happy this video could help you! Take care of yourself too! ☀️
I personally have been in a bad loop lately so I would like to thank you for the motivation. I have finally reached the last two pages of my sketch book. I’m exited to pick out a new one!
You are so real! I love you ❤️ I so look forward to watching your videos. I studied philosophy, sociology and phycology at university so like you I love to try to understand things as deeply as possible - Good to stretch your mind 👊 Your art work is fab ❤️
