@@alterego157 See this is where being extremely introverted can become very unhealthy, its so so important to create a balance and not idolise introversion. If you can't create a balance, there is something else going on.
It is good if you can, to have time for yourself, for sure, but to make it a constant? all you'll have in your life is suffering when you have to deal in unfamiliar situations as that is what life is, constant change, and the extremely introverted individual will have constant burnouts.
If it becomes unhealthy then there is an underlying unresolved issue....which, too many people like to ignore and avoid going to the root of the cause, instead saying how happy and content they are, and how you should follow that path too because you'll be the same. While extreme introversion can bring a feeling of inner peace, you practically can't relate to other people because your needs become extremely paramount, you can become, or appear very apathetic, which then can make you unknowingly very self centred from other peoples perspective because they will be able to read your personality and make their own conclusions.
So relatable. Till a long time even my family couldn't understand my need to for solitude..
Everything just going too fast these days that make me extremely exhauted. But your voice, your videos, as always, calm me down and give me the peaceful feeling. That's why i love you and your videos so much ♡

This is the second time I watch this videos, I never usually do this but with your videos I can watch them over and over again and always come out of it learning something new. This time specifically, I felt what you said around 14:05 to be very intriguing. « nothing comes in your path that you cannot handle » it reminded me of my mother, teaching me about faith and how god never puts you through more than you are capable of handling. I always felt like I needed to be around people to be happy, and after a while of being alone i see a lot of wisdom in what you’re saying (I would have disagreed back then) but I do see now that being alone does me a lot of good, and I’m on a journey to finding myself and my passions. Thank you so much Valerie for the content that you constantly upload. There is no video out there that makes me feel more at peace and connected with myself then yours ❤️

I can feel ok with doing this because of what you have shared and you are right that society frowns on the solitary lifestyle but it brings me so much peace so I can face the world at work and in general.🙏☺️❤️

Thank you for showing that people can make silly mistakes and that's absolutely normal. And I love how you focus on the topics like social anxiety. At this moment I am having so much problems with my studies and I feel like I am not a fit for this major but my family won't agree with me. Life has become very difficult for me. To be able to breathe just now suffocates me.

I was always on the go before Covid. I dreaded spending time alone with myself. Covid taught me to make friends with myself and get to know myself. Now I prefer to be alone and have started so many new and wonderful things.
Your videos are so soothing and inspiring. I also love the short ones because I watch one for ten minutes and find the inspiration to start working on my art without further delay. Thanks for that.

Color FYI: This is for anyone thinking about customizing furniture by changing it's color. The base color the item is before you apply the paint will affect the color you apply. A bright base color will lighten a darker top color and might need a second coat to get the color you wanted. A colored base will tint a white top color and a dark base will darken the top color. Consider the use of a color blocking primer that is close to the color you are aiming for. They are available in white, shades of grey and red. Funny story: I was working in a shop and we were going to paint a truck a medium-dark blue. We did a full sand and prime, and used a red primer since we already had it. Turns out the blue paint was not opaque and the truck came out blueberry-purple. We never noticed it because the shop lights were cool-white (blue bias) and there were no windows for natural light. We even had all the decals on the truck before it ever got pulled outside into the sun. Should have gotten the grey primer.
Hi Valerie, this came up recommended, & I'm so glad I watched it. It is exactly what I needed to hear, it brought me to tears. I have felt so lost & out of place lately after leaving a job that I had been in for over 36 years. My whole life has been about what everyone else wanted, & I let it happen that way. Now I have to discover who I AM, & what do I want, & to stop being afraid to fail.

I'm a big loner. Not always by choice.
I was not able to work due to a couple of severe injuries. 2 surgeries. And that was right before covid.
I need a lot of alone time, but i definitely got very depressed over covid.
I have a lot of famiky and friends with kids or that are older, so I was very isolated.
I am now completely comfortable being alone now and got comfortable with the true me. I no longer need the approval of others and now have no problem leaving a situation or a person who does not bring me peace and happiness.
I go out a lot on my own and feel no social anxiety.
I simply won't put up with anything that doesn't serve me.
But not in a selfish way.
Just felt like sharing.
You are an amazing artist btw.

When the wall came down, I traveled with my school to Berlin. I remember visiting this exact museum. It has had a profound effect on my life ever since. Today is the first time I'm seeing it since 1989. 🖤

You have a very creative mind. I do art as well and just learnt a little from your paintings and drawings. I loved the little bunnies so incredibly cute and a wonderful idea and yes would look good on like crockery like even little bowls or plates or something, could use them for Easter. I agree with you in the social thing, not everyone approaches it the same way or handles being around people the same. I too drain quickly from people and their energy but it does not mean I am not friendly. It is ok, just people are different and their is no shame in that. You are a beautiful woman and I love your hair and I loved those little rings I noticed you were wearing. You have a good eye😻😻💕💕
For your 'now-white-again' vanity, maybe you could try sponging or stippling it it with that lovely Blue Infinity colour. That way you'd still keep a white base hue and control how much or how little blue you'd like on it... AND this approach would also camouflage the blue colour remnants from your first try. You could still add gold detailing to it, that would look gorgeous.

I relate to you so much. Since the pandemic started, I’ve spent time by myself a lot and only seen my family. I cut toxic people out of my life and although I’ve had, what some people may see as, a poor social life- I’ve never been more at peace. I don’t miss my old life. I look forward to the here and now and the future. You realise how resilient you are during transitional periods! I recommend them to everyone if you want to discover more about yourself. I loved to see youre video, i know what you mean about an object in the room that is screaming i am blue. 😅 you can paint it blue but use an powder blue color. Just a very light one. Then it matches the room and colors. Sinds Corona and the lockdowns, i feel more comfortabele being alone with myself. And you know what. I like it so much. ⚘

Don’t be hard on yourself. It happens! I would just paint it white again. It will match the rest of the furniture and you can decorate it with a fabric (doily or table runner, etc).

When we are young, we can do better at tolerance. But as we get older, there is a journey we take inward, and well we do better to be surrounded by nature then distractions and concrete . Nice video.

Decision fatigue...it's a real thing. Anyway, it is refreshing to see a genuine person just sharing mistakes or wrong choices. I find so many of these channels on here show this idealized perfect everyday life. Just based on your vibe....the right vintage piece of furniture will come to you at some point. YEAH i ALSO love painting, I love being alone too in my room but other people find me freak and Petty. Even family can feel you dont belong, But being alone makes me happy and IM comfortable being by my self. But people just dont leave you alone LOL but thanks for this, being alone is better that being in a place where your not comfortable
