Ive been watching some of your older vids for simracing tips and adjusted my FOV from 60 to 30 degrees. Very different but huge improvement, especially in judging my braking points! Thanks for the advice!

The APEX is down to $120 now. Great deal. I've looked at a lot of wheelstands, and it definitely seems like the best when it comes to adjustability and stability, yet it still folds up pretty easily. Great design.

I have the GTO-ART and want to put a Fanatec DD2 on it, would it make sense to take the front of the ART out and replace it with the Apex wheel stand? Do you find it to be more stable?
I've looked at this stand plenty of times. I really like what I've seen because I need a portable solution for my PC setup. Right now I clamp my old Fanatec CSR to the drafting table where my PC is sitting. I want to upgrade my wheel, but I am not looking forward to having to use a more cumbersome clamp with a CSW... permanently mounting to this stand would be perfect. Thanks Dan.

Yup, didn’t see the apex part. Hopefully this one is better than the last. I fixed mine with some spare metal I had. Made my own braces and solid as a rock now.
Another alternative to a wheel stand is the Playseat Challenge. this wheel stand looks good though. I own the other wheel stand from GT Omega and its not super easy to fold up or move around lol.
I don't know if the GT Omega apex Wheel Stand is a improved one or is it the same as the one they had from 2015-16 ? but at that time I was concerned with it tipping over sideways during hard turns so I went with the Wheel Stand Pro . And yes you are right about Stands sliding forward when getting on the brakes but I have a heavy duty coffee table that I could use to keep it from moving and have the T.V. /Monitor still close to me when racing . But like you I upgraded to a full cockpit . Hey could you do a review on the GT omega monitor stand pro's/ cons ? would you recommend getting one as a Stand Alone ?.
Yeah this is a newly released model. I had the older one also and this is much improved. I'll reach out to my gt omega rep and see if they can send me a stand to review. I currently use the Sim labs triple stand and it is very good!

It would be too powerful. My Accuforce even overwhelms my ART cockpit at times so it would probably cause big issues the wheelstand unless you turned the ffb way down.
I am a racing fan and love racing sim games. I got a T300 racing wheel which I love and bought this wheel stand for it. I am missing a piece for actually mounting the wheel. I have tried several times emailing GT Omega but never a response. Once they had my money they could care less about me. I don't have a lot of money and now I have this useless hunk of metal sitting in my room. I finally had to buy another wheel stand. There are other reputable companies out there from whom you can and should buy products. If you don't want to lose your money I recommend avoid this shoddy company.
Honestly it's going to be tough for any wheelstand to work perfectly for a DD wheel. My accuforce even makes my ART cockpit move quite a bit. Out of all of them though I think this will be your best option but you may still have to turn down the ffb some.
It should work just fine with the load cell. I tested the stand with my t3pa pro pedals with the conical brake mod and it is stiffer than the load cell in my V3 pedals. I had no issues whatsoever. You should be good to go!

I almost bought this but so glad I went with the GT Omega ART cockpit setup instead.
Also just to clarify, the ART breaks into two pieces and can come with caster wheels to move super easy.

I have this, slowly added the parts to make the full rig. Mine did not come with most of the features that are in the video.
You may GT Omega's older wheelstand. This one you cannot convert into a full rig
