Nice video, really show the biggest problem with the classic. The wobble is really dramatic. I just bought the apex, and it will be a big upgrade for me coming from a between the leg wheel stand xD old stuff.
Congrats! You won't regret it. I still have the apex and have in the meantime also added the seating part with a chair, so it's a full rig setup for about 2+ years now. It's the perfect setup for me. Really stable, and most importantly, I didn't have to break the bank to obtain this. All in all, pretty happy with these GT Omega gear. Pretty good bang for buck.
Hello, could you tell me what is the minimum height of the wheel plate on the Apex? I think the classic version can be set lower, but I want to be sure (I’m afraid the Apex will be too high for my seat even at min). Thank you !
Damn…I had no idea this video had “so many” views lol. Thanka for watching. I do not have the Classic anymore, so I’m not 100% sure tbh. But I thought at their lowest, the apex was indeed somewhat higher still. I Do not remember how much more though, but should be on the GT Omega website.

How heavy is the omega apex? I am wondering how difficult it is to move around etc.
