It’s been a little while since I’ve used them, but CSP has a TON of community assets you can download and use that are better than most of the default brushes. I would download some of the highly rated ones and group the ones you like together into a brush folder. You can see some of mine under the color wheel.

Hey man can you recommend some good brushes for shading? I've been having a hard time blending colors with the brushes that come with the software

The colored pencil brush blends pretty nicely but the colors seem to come out kinda flat
