These types of pics drove me crazy at first, I'd be thrilled and would go to their homepage to find out what kind of medium they used to get the astounding saturation and blending, oils, acrylics, 'cause I wanted to go back to mine and shoot for it too. Then I'd be pissed to find out someone drew it on Photoshop. Now I see it does require some sense of artistry, but I'm not quite warmed up to it yet. I guess I'm just old fashioned. :)
@helixrose44 Photoshop or any other program is a medium in itself, I personally like digital painting because it is something you can sit down and just do. There's no need to work yourself up to taking out the easel, setting up a pallet, getting the proper lighting. You just sit down, double click, and it's all there; which makes for a much more enjoyable time painting. I used to think the same way, but I'd highly recommend you try it.
@AVDmotion ok i believe you, i have indeed since visited your channel and saw your other videos. I also want to say you have a high level of skill, and should continue down this path as you are one of the most talented i have seen so far. If i replyed to you with a timeframe from the movie would u look at it and paint it???
This is AMAZING!! You should print this and hang it in your room! I cant even draw that good! I would like to ask you before I make a few suggestions...Its AMAZING! Dont get me wrong!
That's way too amazing! I'm an artist too but I still don't know how to paint like that with programs, especially photo shop. Could you please redirect me to some tutorials, for what I need to know to paint like that. Cause I really want to learn and I can draw it but I can't make it so real, and that's what I wish to know.
@pimpwacker Wacom Bamboo tablets are fine for starting out digitally. There's only a slight difference in sensitivity and no difference in image quality - that's the responsibility of the artist, themselves. ;-)
@AVDmotion So what if he used Hypercam ... it is free. If I have to record something on the computer, thats the program I use. In fact, I might have shown Mike Hypercam so do not rip on him for using it, yell at me.
Great artwork man... Ur real good... On the critical side though, the head still looks de-tached to the neck. Mabey you should'v drawn the muscle to the ear, instead of the hair that hangs over that spot...
