7:10 -ish... I wouldn't say that's a small percentage. The fight is 60minutes long, and they already have it down to 55% (almost halfway) , and they're just under 3 minutes into the fight. Looks like a -10minute fight to me.

Bro, this is live service. The term live service has lost all meaning in online communities. Live service just means they give updates post launch, regardless of if they monetize the extra content or not.

Reaching 20 hours in the demo and really surprised by the nuance in each character. People are sinking the same amount of time into the demo that they would a fully released game. Cygames really outdid themselves and hope they reap their rewards!

So it's basically a Tales style campaign with thr added bonus of an epic endgame which is basically Monster hunter meets FF14 raid bosses. Count me in!

You guys are lying. It's nothing like Monster Hunter or FF14. Combat is like Kuni 2 and is really a high budget mobile type game. Except they drop the sign bonus and using real cash.

I cannot stress enough just how much I absolutely ADORE the aesthetics of the Granblue series!
With Hideo Minaba (art director of FF9, FF12, FF Tactics etc...) and music composer Nobuo Uematsu that was involved in the mobile game (most of BGM are included too in remix) and Tsutomu Narita by FFX Remaster yeah...FF feels! w
I honestly can’t believe how addicting the demo is. I’m trying not to overdo it so I can enjoy the full release to it’s maximum potential, but I keep going back!
Remember when people used to complain that this game is getting delayed a lot? A lot of YT video came out and praise how amazing this game is from the demo alone.
Reading opinions on Reddit or any forums or magazine is actually the opposite. People are saying it not really good and the demo turned them off. Especially as it’s basically a gatcha style game with linear levels and button smashing combat with nearly no tactics. I thought the same after playing the demo.

Honestly the reason I'm excited for the game is because it reminded me of the level 5 games I used to love to play. The dark cloud series, rogue galaxy, and white knight chronicles. Used to love the online component of both white knight chronicle games, and this game kinda reminds me of it

i miss white knight chronicles that game was incredible to me. but i remember hitting a wall after getting my custom avatars knight unlocked. something about upgrading it had this crazy grind and no one was playing at that time.
@@mercenaryninja yea after you unlock your knight the grind for the parts were insane. Same here by the time I got to that point not many people were playing. But I still enjoyed playing online and doing those quests lol
haha wow been such a long time since I played Rogue Galaxy or even heard anyone mention it..the golden ps2 JRPG era was really something I'm so grateful to have been through.

I am however a bit worried about the sigil system since it reminds me a bit, in looks only, of the gear in Final Fantasy Stranger of Paradise (i.e. constant grind of slightly higher gear with random tertiary stats). Maybe it's just me who has a bit of PTSD from that gear grind? 😂

the devs in jap interview said exactly that- that with sigil upgrade system they want everyone to use the character they like and that you dont have to use specific characters for certain enemies, it might help abit but you can use any character for any boss

Been playing Granblue since 2017, and have been looking forward to Relink since 2018 when it was announced. It feels so unreal that we're less than 2 weeks away from playing it ;;
What sold me on this game was the demo, and how the quest mode had heavy Monster Hunter Vibes.
Honestly, it looks good. Definitely will keep an eye on it
I only recently discovered the game and I'm sooooo hyped for early access, this video has gotten me INFINITELY more hyped. The endgame raids look absolutely massive and great.
Really looking forward to this game as it reminds me of the Tales series art style. Tales: Berseria is one of my favorite games of all time. Can't wait!

Been following this for years and I am so glad they decided to focus on endgame multiplayer over just making a huge open world single player experience. We have so many single player jrpgs like this but few coop focused ones and as someone who has not been able to get into monster hunter I am so pumped to play this with all my friends and do the insane endgame raids. The gameplay loop is exactly what I am wanting at this time.

@@terminate_all you speak as if the industry isn’t also over saturated with multiplayer games. Also last I checked this was a JRPG so the priority should have been story and characters.
Do you have to finish the campaign before doing co op questing? My wife loves playing co op but very rarely plays any single player content.
The large cast of colorful varied characters kinda reminds me of Chrono Cross which had a core story relevant party plus a very large cast of colorful and varied side-characters that can join the party (if I'm not mistaken it was +40 characters, and had everything from mermaids, to aliens and sentient animals).
I hope they keep growing the cast post release (even if some are paid DLC).
Very hopeful for this game. Just finished the demo, it's exactly what I'm looking for after Tales of Arise. Just hope the character customization (visual) is decent.
I remember when the anime dropped YEARS ago and I liked the start but was never able to finish it. (Given it was new at the time and episodes were still being released). So I never finished it. After trying out the demo I was just taken away and have been waiting for something like this. Def could use some work here and there but I pre ordered the special edition and gonna binge the anime immediately 😂😅 loving what we’ve got so far

Seofon is part of an the eternals. They're extremely powerful humans according to the lore this far. If you guys want to know more about the lore-you can read more online since this game was originally a gacha game and i've played this on mobile since 2014.

The co-op only being in an Arena really hurts my excitement. Quests seem to be only in an Arena also. Main Campaign is the ONLY way to have exploration.
That is only in the demo. In the game coop missions sometimes have a little map to explore.
There's more quests types you haven't seen yet, the demo only showed you 2 types
The demo won me over because the combos and the way characters play are actually intricate and deep. Even more than Tales of Arise actually but Tales Of Arise has better party management.
This game just looks better and better, to the point of me raising priority over other already established series
Let me explain why this game has so much to do. You can replay the game once you beat it.
Characters gain levels and that earns them skill points.
You can change their equipment and upgrade that equipment to make it stronger.
The skills you choose to unlock will change what you can do with the Characters.
Ohhh so glad I had this video to tell me this game was a game.

Be sure to suggest anything you'd like to see like crossplay, button mapping etc
You should also name all the bad incidents CyGames has had with their browser game GBF already.
I feel like the global playerbase that has never played GBF is not ready for what CyGames is rolling out on them.
GBF is MASSIVE, but 90% of the content is nothing but absurd grind sessions for additional power levels and materials.
While ReLink looks amazing on first sight, I can´t overlook their shady habits which they are keeping hidden to the wider public for now.
This game could be a huge trap.
I've been waiting for this game for years. The demo was great, I really enjoyed it and put 17 hours into it. I can't wait for January 28th to play this game 👊🏿

Been wanting a game like this for a long time now. I do not mind the grind as it helps one master their characters by actually being forced to grind and play. I miss the feeling of end game groups and knowing to get there these players also had to grind, and get better as a result. Just hope there are no easy leveling exploits, etc. that loosers will inevitably use if they find out about them and then enter end game activities missing the one thing exploits cannot do for them, improve their skills.
The type of game you just described is literally all we get now in the industry since live service games took over.
@JonBlack413 Can you name one that has the same, seemingly from what we've seen so far, as Granblue Fantasy Relink? I have played Genshin Impact for instance (and raided Mythic WoW and FFXIV) and the endgame gets very boring after content gets cleared and there is no grind left. What do you recommend that is on these same levels or better that's out right now, since you seem to insinuate there are so many out now?

Warframe and Path of Exile just to name two.
I played Warframe for a while but got bored of it really fast. I bought the Ember Warframe I think it was and I dunno, running those maps just clearing the same enemy types was very boring to me. POE I also played but sheesh, I just could not get into that one, even as a hardcore Diablo 3 player with probably over a thousand hours in that. Also those games are quite different from Granblue Relink, such as POE being a top down isometric game and Warframe being sci-fi and more of a shooter id say. @@tonysmith9905
@@Zzuesbest i can say is for you to look out OG browser GBF, many endgame raids got power creeped so hard too there, but people keep playing for the "actual raid" aka Guild War 😂

I follow your channel because you have good guides and based takes on things. This game wasn't even on my radar as I'm not really into the art style but the gameplay looks solid and I don't see anything else that's like this in the marketplace atm. The co-op boss fights look great and are the major draw for me. Is the entire game playable in CO-OP? Will there be matchmaking in game? Would like more info on the CO-OP aspects.
So story mode isn't co op but when you play the game, the main hub is where you access everything like db xenoverse. The quest counter allows you to do quests outside the story with 4 players, you included. Each character has a different nuance, weaponry etc. and there are matchmaking setting you can tune to your liking whether it's public or private matches, same region or worldwide etc

Never even heard of this game and it looks amazing. Always wanted to give this artsy look of a game a try and this one might be it. The end game is what's drawing me the most. I might hold off to see how they update there game because this is something I look at alot. They going to update this game for years???
So am I to understand correctly that each character will have just 1 weapon that you fully upgrade? Or will other weapons drop from monsters or chests? They did say you will be getting alot of upgrade materials, so I'm assuming each character will only have 1 weapon you fully upgrade
There'll be multiple weapon for each characters, it is forgeable/craftable and will be included in character's weapon mastery, which will have passive skill to increase character's stats without being equipped. So getting and maxxing them is very encouraged for endgame.

Most of the characters have support skills you can equip. Even pure dps characters have team wide buffs. So all the characters have lots of ways to build and play them.

No it's a sorta end game thing, the main story will be solo, and the questing is a different part of the game that's when you can join or others can join you.
There's more types of quests than just he arena boss fights, there's a quest type where you'll be defending something from enemies and another one called conquest which is most likely capturing areas on a map.

It looks like there'll be sequel for sure because 10 years has passed but the key mysteries of the main story haven't unveiled in the mobile game.
for me grinding is good if the combat and progression both feel good. in Monster hunter i stuck with it cuz learning and mastering each weapon class was immensely satisfying. i hope the same can be said about this game! honestly i didnt even know it was going to be like this. i thought it was going to be structured something akin to tales of arise or whatever and not even have multiplayer.

Japanese action RPG is my favorite genre and this one looks cool but I'm mainly interested in it because it has some similarities with the Ys Games but this one seem much bigger... Tough I'm not a big fan of characters micro management and skill trees!
I wanna see how they balance these bosses. In theory if this plays like Bayonetta or something you should never get hit in this game so what's the point of healing and tanks? This will be an interesting game.

Its a stand alone experience and story but it does connect heavily to the grandblue universe .
Ive heard different things that story mode only 20 hours some say if u add side quests story mode be 40 hours pluss and even the quest can be played offline single player as ive git no internet but really want and like this game
I had a blast with the demo, however it worries me how much it repeats the gameplay. Another concern of mine was how boring it was fighting in Boss Quest, like we just get teleported to an arena and fight. I don’t know if this is their intent or if they will be adding something more interesting like dungeons or actual raids.
There are coop missions that will have maps. That was just a demo

@@hugofassbender602check out the "4 dragon knights granblue fantasy relink gameplay" vids from a few years ago. Where they go through a map with enemies and treasure and at the end was a boss fight.
Not all quests will just be a boss arena.
@@hugofassbender602they confirmed that some missions don’t spawn you right at the boss. You run through a small-medium sized map, fighting small mobs, until you reach the boss

Man I hope they see how long people played the demo and start doing live maintenance like the mobile game for the full game. At least an additional total of 40-50 hours of extra content and updates

Hate to say this, but I'm never one that's always excited for difficult endgame content. I seriously hope that they add more story content aside from endgame battle stuff. It can get stale for many people who aren't into it. I'm not a meta or hardcore player personally.

Pretty much all the characters have a variety of ways you can build them with different skills to choose between. Even the "supports" can be built for hi damage from what I have seen.

I gave up hope for a couple years that it was ever going to come out but I’m glad I was wrong. I’ve been addicted to Monster Hunter Rise while hopping between Musous like Pirate Warriors, Fire Emblem Warriors etc and this game looks like it’s going sit PERFECTLY in the lineup. 🔥🔥🔥
