Honestly I think COT is way overrated friend & although bred for the dirt he's only a 124 rated horse & may add this 3yr old generation of horses doesn't have a standout CLASS horse. Aiden O'brien says City Of Troy is the best he's trained which is some statement from a Training Genius like him who's had such HIGH class horses like ( Galileo, Rock of Gibraltar, Giant's Causeway, Henrythenavigator, Fame & Glory, Duke Of Marmalade, Mastercraftsman, Australia, Camelot, King of Kings not to mention Minding, Magical, Found & Mother Earth & we could go on & no so the best Aiden O'brien says he's had ?? I've mentioned some horses above who were better than City Of Troy BUT we'll see if his reputation will stay intact regarding his best ever.
Played him to win in Ky Derby, and I don't see why I wouldn't do that again. I have great respect for Dornich and Fierceness, and can't wait to see how the Euro City of Troy does on dirt; but I believe Forever Young should have won the Derby, so giving him another chance at old Del Mar .
He's virtually an undefeated horse, so why not? We'll see if he'll handle the conditions of Del Mar. Maybe it's a short straight for him, he has to adapt his running style. Forever Young will run in the Japan Dirt Derby at Oi Racecourse next time out!

I don't understand friend ? What was Forever Young cheated of ? No doubt he is a big danger in the Breeders Cup Classic absolutely after were he came from in the Kentucky Derby he should've won & would've IF he ran closer to the pace but sadly his jockey gave him to much to do.

City of Troy’s bloodline is awesome! Justify on the Sire’s Side and Galileo on the Maternal side; if prop- erly cared for, he may be the winner. In any case this is the most anticipated race for me since our be- loved California Chrome. 💖💖💖
I think City Of Troy is overrated & what we've seen in his 3yr old campaign & even Aiden O'brien's comment saying he's the best he's trained doesn't change my opinion of his chances. As with Fierceness we've seen he's not Top Class either so don't understand why he's rated the No1 3yr old going into the BCC so I'm going to go with FOREVER YOUNG given the odds of the 3 horses i think he's over priced. I dont know if its just me BUT i don't think this generation of 3yr olds are anything special but just my opinion of course. Good luck everyone whoever you pick.
Best 3yo colt on dirt period his resume is tons above anybody else and I'm talking about all around quality of fields and distance and all over the globe and was tons the best in the ky derby so yeah he will pounce this field whomever shows up
Those American horse can't beat Forever young or city of Troy just not good enough these 2 colts are consistent not one off race winners like the others who wins one and does bad in 2 or 3 races.
Where has this colt been since the Kentucky Derby? I believe he was the best horse in the derby and that he was interfered with down the stretch, possibly denying him the win, but what has he done since? Was he injured or sick after the derby? Haven't heard a thing about him all summer.
Top 3yo performers from Spring season in Japan usually get a rest during Summer and return to action in the Falls. FY was away from home but can safely be considered one of the top performers of his crop, so he earned a prolonged vacation.

City of troy is in a different league i he will destroy the field He has pure speed but also stamina he will just keep going and going and wont stop no horse in world can get past him and on dirt he will be 10 times faster 10 times better he cant lose the breeders cup classic

U dont bet on horses if u got a if. If fierceness runs his good race. If city ot troy takes to the dirt. If 4everyoung gets better than his 100 buyer in k.d. needs 10 more points figure wise. Except for the travers 111 buyer all our 3yr old were running approximately 100 buyer in all races not fast A japan horse almost beat all our 3yr olds then a female almost beat all our 3yr old males. Im not saying this cause im a fan just leaning towards a 4yr old derma sotogake he had numbers to win k.d. at 3yr old. He didnot. Then off 6 month layoff with no preps got 2nd in b.c.classis to white abbario. Dutro. Thats big. Most people like the other 2 japan horses ushba Tesoro a closer and 4ever young cause he was robbed in k.d. but he has to get better and he dont like kickback. Just a thought good luck to all.
