Ive had one for about 3 months now and I am happy with it. It has done everything I have asked of it and I have been able to keep that razor sharp edge with a little bit of stropping
BPS puts out some good knives. I bought two years ago. They keep a fine edge can’t go wrong with this one. I’ll pick one up. Thanks for the heads up Brian.
I absolutely love bps knives!!! I have about 6 or 7,and everyone is just perfect! I have this one on order, for 3 of them! I think it’s going to be a great gift. As you said, easy to carry and will do everything I need it to. Again, I just love this fantastic knife maker
I sincerely appreciate the brief words of wisdom. Not sure why, but hearing other men around me speaking God’s Word helps it stick with me so much better than just reading it alone.
I just got this knife recently and have been wearing it as a neck knife ever since. It get even sharper if you strop it. It's so lightweight you don't even feel it.
I have 3 bps knives i love all 3 but the puukko is behind the other 2. The adventurer and Aura. The Aura is N690 it reminds me of Mors Kochanksi design he spoke of. Im a old school survivalist. I carry at least 3 knives and a machete an saw. I go camping an 🎣 just for a excuse to use my knives more. Always wonderful to see another video from you Brian. It's refreshing to see people on TH-cam share their faith. Especially with government not treating Christians to good. They decided pro-life was worse then isis. Explain that? Sorry i couldn't help myself but only way to stop darkness is light. Many don't know.
I'm not a big fan of carbon steel in my environment but this one I did buy as my second BPS knife. The other one I have is also small but more spear point and stainless steel. I bought this one more as a carving knife for finer whitling and possible neck carry although I usually just carry it in my backpack. I see batoning as essential for fire prep so it's in all my classes. I have made fires all over Europe, North America, South America, Africa and Asia all using batoning in some way. I think for the price this is the best BPS knife so far.
@@SurvivalOnPurpose True! Many even claim it was invented since TH-cam. They don't know it's an ancient technique and still used all over the world. I've seen it used in rural parts of Colombia and Thailand. It's how they split bamboo for instance and still have all 10 fingers.
Thank you for demonstrating this knife. I believe it would be good for food preparation and pairing as well. On another topic, I haven’t heard you mention how user friendly the HAWG holster website is and maybe these days that isn’t a thing but ordering from them was very easy.
12/28/24 and you are outside in a long shirt and a t. this morning in southern N.Y. IT WAS 20 degrees with snow and ice. Georga looking good. Happy new year ,
Small knives rule. I know, everyone loves playing with a big one, but what are the odds that you are going to have a large blade in your pocket when it all goes south? A blade like this is far more likely to keep you alive because it's capable and you are going to have it with you.
I've been watching your videos for years and years, Brian. Always good stuff! You've come a long way, and you're still getting better at this. - A happy subscriber
Who said anything about God? So, serious question: if I had read a couple of lines from any other ancient book or document, would you have felt like commenting on it? If not, why not?

BPS is making good knives at a great price
If I didn’t already own a mora 2/0 this is what I would get. Looks like a great deal to me! Good job Brian
Thanks! It's a great knife at a great price.
Full tang at $25.00. Can't beat that.
It's a good little knife
Thanks Bryan for the review and of course the biblical wisdom and Chuck Norris facts.
You're welcome, it’s all part of the package.
My mom had a kitchen knife just like that 40 years ago .

So many people want to put batoning down because they never heard of it until TH-cam. But many indigenous people have done it for centuries.

John and Traci worked very hard to make that happen. I’m glad you mentioned it.

And it was feeling a little chilly to me ;-)

I like all sizes ;-)
I agree. Most people aren't going to live out the wilderness woods fantasy either,
Are you the keyboard player for the "Taste the Biscuit" song?
So, I had to search for that. Now I can never unsee it.
Wow that knife recoil almost hit your dog
Not really. It just looked like it on video. It does always shortens the depth of field
Very nice.
Happy new year tom
@ Right back atcha brother.
Does 1066 throw sparks with flint?
Good question. I don’t know.

Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you still enjoy the channel.
You just don't look the same without your hat!😂
Is that good or bad? ;-)
@@SurvivalOnPurpose better with the hat, 😆
So, basically, the less of me that's visible the better? Well, my grandson likes me. So there! ;-)
@SurvivalOnPurpose 🤣I think it's more of a jealous that I don't have hair on the top of my head kinda thing!
looks like a very solid little knife. Looks like it's sold out on amazon, I can see why
That happens a lot and I assume no responsibility ;-) You can still order from BPS
Looks like a great knife enjoy the word from GOD s word to thanks😁👏
I'm glad you liked it!
Those feathers don't have to be on the stick to light.
True, but they won't blow away on a stick. And it just looks cooler on a stick ;-)
@SurvivalOnPurpose Absolutely but since I suck at keeping them on the stick I've decided to just make a 'fire pile' instead of a 'fire stick'?
@ I hear ya, that always works for me
People call Chuck Norris to sharpen their knives on his arms…..😘
;-)
Someone has been watching (the outlaw Josey wales) Lone watie
It's near the top of my top ten list
I think you need a new testing device.
Yes, I do
What happened to your hair dude?
I’m letting it grow. I decided that if I still have hair at my age it is a shame not to set it free.
Got one, good value, don't know what any god comes into it ? 😂
Who said anything about God? So, serious question: if I had read a couple of lines from any other ancient book or document, would you have felt like commenting on it? If not, why not?
I am so early my like doesn’t work lol
thanks!
