      The romanian major of Cernauti - Traian Popovici - saved 20000 Jewish in 1939-1940. Ucrainians bolsevics don't have any mercy from him and his familly , after the territorial rapt, after the war.

  • @ingoragnar3538
    @ingoragnar3538 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    North Bucovina - old romanian land stolen by the Habsburg from Moldova in 1775 (90% of the province population was romanian at that time), and again in 1940 stolen by the bolsevics (Ribbentrop-Molotov pact in 1939) and cedeed this teritory to Ucraine in november 1940. The Habsburgs moved ucrainians in this romanian province from Galitia in the XIX century because they are need labor force. In november 1940 the south of Basarabia (Bugeac - another province of Romania) are cedeed to Ucraine by the bolsevics too. This two teritory, with the North Maramures and Pocutia was a old romanian teritory stolen by the Habsburgs, bolsevics, and now - ucrainians. One country don't be build by the teritorial rapt. The war in Ucraine is the consequences of this political fact. Ucraina risks the life of their citizens for a ugly dream. Europe now very well how Ucraina was build, and never accept one country with this problem to be a part of European Union. And the consequences? One population terrified by the local war, poor and easy conquer by the russians. Ucraine must by unified with Romania quicly and they automaticly by a part of NATO and EU. This two country, together, can resist to the manipulation of the russians and protect Europe from the red danger. In Romania, the ucrainians who lived in our country are our brothers. Do the same in Ucraina, and don't be a victim again of the russian propaganda.

      The castle on the place of Chernivtsi has been built in the second half of XII century by Ruthenian prince Yaroslav Osmomysl from Halych. It was called Chern. It was built in the area where other early Slavic settlments was before. That castle has been destroyed by Tatars and later rebuilt by Moldovans on other nearby hill. City was already in that area by that time. Territory of Northern Buvovina was inhabited by Sclavins (V-VII centuries) - there is archaeological evidence that tribes of Prague-Korchak archaeological culture (Slavs) lived there. Then Slavic tribe of White Croats (IX - XI) lived there that was later became part of Ruthenian ethnicity. Northern Buvovina was integral part of Principality of Halych and was called as Halych land in Ruthenian chronicles. In those chronicles Vlachs are not mentioned in that region - they of course could live there but they were not the dominant ethnic group. At least northern and western districts of Northern Bucovina had predominantly Slavic population. It is a shameless lie and myth created by Romanian nationalists that 90% Romanians lived there. This is our Ukrainian land and we will fight for it if needed.

      @@Anton_Danylchenko In Rome, Column of Traian mentioned in this area the dacians tribes - ancestores of the romanians. The column was 2000 years old. Why you don't say any words by the Ribbentrop-Molotov pact. Shame of you. The habsburgs say in 1775 : 90% of the populations was romanian.

    I checked all censuses from 1872 and there never was a romanian majority in Chernivtsi. Ukrainians were always the dominant population of the city:
    1930 (last Romanian census)
    Ukrainians - 383,028 (47.6%)
    Romanians - 227,187 (28.2%)
    Or you can ckeck in Austro hungarian linguistic map:
    upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/47/Austria_Hungary_ethnic.svg
    So stop calling it romanian.
