I’m about to quit now. It’s ridiculous. Been at it since 8 this morning and don’t want to spend my Saturday chasing an exotic that’s just gonna sit in the vault. The worse thing IMO is that you can’t progress the season because this exotic mission is step 1. 😳
Hey I just took a mini break, came back and got it done. Don’t give up! Get a good rocket and just run around. Fail safe “helps” towards the end. And I just hid behind the platform in the middle section and took cover while blasting rockets. Good luck!!

For anybody just now doing this mission a good cheese strut is to use dragon's breath hide behind the portals keep popping out and shooting it if you're Hunter You can also use still hunt for big damage but I would recommend using the dragon's breath
Destiny has always been about the puzzles.. That, and the lore, is what sets this game apart from the rest. Anybody can make a game where you just shoot and loot; substance and style matter
Compared to other exotic missions this one is actually pretty decent solo. Worst part is the platforming to get to the actual mission areas, but this guide helped me skip all that guess work. Final boss is okay because they don't stop you from doing damage when you go past the segments of his health bar. Took me a lot of tries but my last run was pretty quick all said
I found the platforming stuff a bit lacking. They were clearly emulating The Whisper, but it’s fairly short and lots of it is just elevators. GIVE ME MORE PLATFORMING CHALLENGES!!!
Just gave up.. Way too hard on my own. Can't play a lot of this game cause I'm on my own.. Raids etc are a no go. Think I'm probs done with d2.. Only so many times you can play vanguard.. Lol.

anybody else had the teleport module dropped on the other side of the wall? I'm supposed to activate teleport but the 2nd module is stuck on the other side of the wall....
regular difficulty takes me a few hours to go through solo on my warlock (currently got 3 of the 8 temporal anomalies for the epilogue quest), still haven't done the expert difficulty and any of the secrets and puzzles, which I want to do but my clan is never on, so I can't get the last 2 specimens either.
I have a quick guide for the chests and expert - and I did the Expert run with Fireteam Finder, no mic, in just under 40 minutes. It’s very doable when your clan doesn’t want to play!
7 year old game and the final encounter gets bugged with the red walls if you die on the platform with the independent variable. You get locked out and cant get to the blue node required to open a portal. This is pathetic.
how do you remove the shield at the beginning after you jump down the hole and reach the first chasm? I can't get through this point and I see no way to remove it.
Haven’t been back to destiny since black myth wukong came out. Loaded up this mission and what a load of TRASH - jumping puzzles and no clear indication where to go…….quit after two minutes. I’m going back to wukong
I had a glitch at the end of the boss where the Minotaurs who spawn the nodes wouldn’t spawn. I tried to reset the encounter and it quit me out of the mission. I think I may quit this gameZ
the last boss isnt spawning the pyrimad. 3 attempts. after the wall comes up and you have to kill the two minatours it bugs. 3 times in a row. what a pile...
Awful mission just tried it after game update file today and the last boss was bugged everytime i got half of his health down he would teleport directly behind me getting stuck to my hunter killing me immediately
That’s so frustrating 😭 I adore these longer, trickier missions, but the lack of checkpointing is a real barrier. When a boss bugs out, I’d love to be able to take a breather and come back.
@cketch bungie really need to add checkpoints to it that last 24 hours and keep his health at how low it was when we die but they need to fix all these dumb bugs
I gotta say, this has been the easiest exotic mission to date imo. I was able to get through it up to the boss while taking calls from my job. Had to look up a video as I thought I was doing the boss encounter wrong. I couldnt get their shield to drop. But, looks like it was just bugging out.
I also didn’t find it very tough, ended up getting solo flawless by accident. I think where people are finding friction is its length and lack of checkpoints. Also when I spell out all the little steps to take with Modules, it seems more complex than it is. I feel like the Modules don’t go far enough, we could do so much more with them! The puzzles come closer to what seems possible, I hope they revisit them.
I just think you're going a little fast in terms of everything. I appreciate people saying they like the brevity of it, but you're skipping steps as to where to go and I can't even follow where you're saying to go once you jump into the hole in top of that circle at the beginning. You are going so fast you can't even see the slamming door. Your video is WAY too fast and there needs to be a more happy medium.
A big motivator for me is preserving the sense of mystery and discovery that makes these missions magical to me. Platforming sections are tough, because listing turn-by-turn directions takes a long time, is boring and takes away a bit of the discovery. When it’s particularly tough, I’ll sometimes include a time lapse of the section, but that’s definitely my own judgment. I definitely appreciate that this isn’t what you’re looking for, but I think that trial-and-error for platforming is lower friction than for boss fight mechanics. That’s how I’m deciding what to include - just what you need to tackle the mechanics, leaving room for you to play the game and be surprised!

@cketch wrong paths, that'll spit you outside, or just outright kill you with the map boundaries, take wrong path and you'll just get thrown back to the start of the map. Is my map just loading wrong?
Water temple bs. Colorblind proof puzzles. Leave and come back mechanics. Repeat same as last mechanic. Cool so waste my time mechanic so I'll never finish content I payed money for mechanic gotcha
The colored items are responsive to colorblind settings AND have distinct icons AND UI indicators. My biggest issue is that it doesn’t have checkpoints. Otherwise, this is a blast and I cleared my first expert run with Fireteam Finder in under 40 minutes!

Lots of people don't want to sit through an hour long video to get the gist of certain parts of the mission. Where this mission is so long, guide videos can easily go over an hour. This is fast and to the point in under 5 minutes. He speaks clearly; you either need to slow the video down for your taste as suggested or learn simple comprehension skills again. this mission was an awesome puzzle, definately didn't make me rip my hair out as much as zero hour tho!
It took me so long due to the boss bugging out and having when I did finally beat it just now lemme tell you that boss fight was SO janky.

Use the Access portals to move around! If it’s bugged and you can’t move or damage the boss, you might have to wipe.
