Thank you so much for your great review. Your video is always fantastic and feels like I’m in Hawaii. I’m big fan of your channel. (My kids like your video more than Blippi or CocoMelon) My family goes to Hawaii 4-5 times/ year, and grand wailea is always my favorite! I’m looking forward to seeing your next video!! BTW their itinerary is good. I got them for all of 4 islands. Highly recommend.
Wow, thanks for the amazing comment! That is a tall order to prefer our videos over Blippi. Thanks also for the itinerary review! That means a lot that frequent Hawaii travelers get value out of them. Mahalo!
We had our honeymoon there in October 1991 during its soft opening. I will never forget the feeling of being in such an amazingly beautiful resort! And I grew up in Hawaii...so that says alot!
I’m so excited for our upcoming stay in a few days. We also booked with FNC’s. We are flying in from SoCal First class as usual. Thank you for the great video. Hopefully this stay will be better than our November stay at Waikola Village.
My girls would never want to leave the resort if we ever went (or ever could afford). The gem of this video is the Hula Show. We went in March and everyone loved it. One thing that surprised me is there wasn't an opportunity to tip at the hula show and it was worthy of tipping.
We just got back from the Grand Wailea this week. We have an Amex Platinum card, so we used points for five nights and it was free. Even got upgraded to an ocean view room. We loved everything about the resort. My advice is to get a good travel card and learn to live on it 😊Our flights cost $140 round trip, Southwest Airlines card, companion pass.
We did the same thing! We got a lovely resort credit and an upgrade. Plus late checkout which meant another pool day. Thanks for sharing! Well done on using reward points.
You guys are awesome! My husband and I are going to Maui (Wailea) for the first time in April, and we have been watching your videos. We are making a list of things to do based on your suggestions. Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into making them. We will make sure to say hi if we see you guys around. Mahalo 💖
For the pool alone, the Grand Wailea is hard to beat for families with kids. We're expecting freezing rain soon here in Chicago, so I'm jealous of everyone who's going to be floating along the lazy river and eating shave ice today. At the risk of hyperbole: for visitors without kids (or with grown children,) we've found that the adults-only pool and cabanas at the Marriott next door might be the most perfect spot on the planet.
Do you happen to have a review of the pool area at Wailea Beach Resort - Marriott. We will be there in February for a day pass for the pool and the kids are wondering what the pool is like.
We do! Here is our review and a video showing our time at the resort: thehawaiivacationguide.com/stay/wailea-beach-resort-review-all-the-great-activities/
The Grand Wailea Resort has an amazing brunch and my wife and I enjoyed the couples massage while there. I would also add that the food truck area, might be the best spot to get food on the whole island, so many choices to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters......I can recommend the Wing Truck, The Argentinian Truck and the Sushi Truck, also the best part is its a two minute walk to the best Shave Ice on island, Peace, Love and Shave Ice!!
Wow! Thanks for sharing all those tips! We agree, the food truck parks on Maui are the best in Hawaii. Hence, I keep this article updated and it was one of our first articles: thehawaiivacationguide.com/maui-food-trucks/
I was really underwhelmed with the Grand Wailea last time we visited. Surprisingly, I don't even recall my kids asking to go back despite the "amazing" pools. I just can't put my finger on it, but I've had many better experiences. It was definitely due for a remodel I agree with that!
Thanks for sharing! It is a good hotel but not our favorite in Hawaii. The size makes it lack the charm of smaller, luxury hotels. I'm glad they remodeled the rooms.

My heart…so beaitiful❤. Thanks for the awesome video guys!
Fabulous places to stay. Unfortunately our budget won’t allow us to came to Maui this year. Thanks for allowing me to be in Maui via your video
We stay at an adjacent condo facility and love coming over to the Grand Wailea to dine at the Olivine restaurant. Excellent experience!
Thanks for sharing! That is a nice tip for folks who aren't staying at the Grand Wailea. The restaurants are open again for all.
@@TheHawaiiVacationGuide like that the valet parking for dining is complimentary too !
Looks amazing, thanks for the review….
Thanks for watching and the comment!

Those are great tips. Agreed, the Wailea Beach Resort has a lovely infinity pool with a bar that is adults only. Stay warm in Chicago!
"I'd have shave ice twice a day, and hang out at the lazy river." Little dude knows a thing or two about vacations. ❤
he does indeed! It was a fast response too. I'm proud of him.
Cheeseburger in Paradise Lahaina, Maui 🍔
We are missing it. They said they weren’t rebuilding but we shall see.
