That first song is about immigration hate. The stereotypes and all. "Oh so you're running from poverty but can affort to take a plane/boat here?" Shit like that. And how it's so easy to be all tough when you're safe in your basement behind a screen. I assume the black eyes is supposed to symbolize how a lot of people demonize immigrants.

The song in 9:31. This is the lyric from norwegian to english. BTW am Norsk
    Because we live to die
Until we melt away like snow
    And they look for mistakes
    But I flip my finger
    Because I'm making my way
When everyone asks you to stop
Forget it and focus and work
    For the jealousy, it burns
Although many bridges have to burn
    So everyone is not friends
    Fuck, fuck, fuck
All of them are snakes, so that's perfectly normal
    Fuck, fuck, fuck
No one here has time for a failed day
    Fuck, fuck, fuck

    A few talk a lot
    Much behind my back
    Talking a lot on mobile
Still on it and they are wasting their lives

1 song: Lett å være rebell i kjellerleiligheten din=easy to be a rebell in your basement-apartment
Anders Andersen= pretty common Norwegian first and last name
    2 song) fy faen= oh fuck/shame fuck
Fy is like a short word for shame
Example:FYYY, FYYY, you are not allowed to do that.
This song was extremely popular one summer, so really many kids walked around and sang “oh fuck” all summer
3 song) si ingenting= say nothing
Yes this song switches from English to Norwegian
Om snuten spør sier vi ingenting, ingenting, ingenting, ingenting= If the cops ask we’ll say nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing
    4 song) title: snufs=sniff
This song starts with a woman called Lalla Carlsen,
who sings «Jeg er så glad jeg synes at hele verden er min,
    traderade rullan dei
For jeg har nettop tatt mig en en liten schnufs kokain,»
    Translation:
I’m so happy I think the whole world is mine,
Trades roll them(just normal song words)
Because I just got myself a little sniff cocaine
This was sung in 1931, and reused for this song

So the "Lett å være rebell i kjellerleiligheten din" by Karpe is a very dark political song. It's a parody of politicians who hates immigrants. An excerpt of the lyrics translated to English are things like: "They said they came from poverty, but had money for the boat over here -- Is this what my tax money is for?", "I don't care if you're Tshawe, Vinz or Nico (black celebs) -- Is it you who are taking my daughter to the movies?", "All of you come from the same place," "We don't need people like this," "You will never be a Scandinavian, you naver, naver, naver," ("naver" is the term used about people in the social welfare system), and "Oh lord, oh lord, can you forgive me for wanting a car and boat? No!"

Hi bro! Could you please react to more Norwegian music, absolutely loved your first one! I’d love it if you could’ve reacted to more of Karpe’s songs espescially from the album Heisann Montebello :)

AR Gaming! Well considering they were both born in Norway, they technically are. I know both have diffrent backgrounds from India and Egypt, but they’re technically Norwegian. With your logic you could say that no people from the american continent is american, they’re just European, African, Asian and Oceanic (or what ever people from Oceania is called 😂)

No they are not. They are foreigners both of them. No they are not technically norwegian. Chirag is Indian of Gujrati descent and Magdi is Egyptian. I know better than you. The logic thing is correct. The only americans are native americans. None of the rappers in this video is norwegian BTW.

    • @johryt2733
      @johryt2733 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Umair Abbas I mean the «native americans» originally came from Asia. Also Magdi’s mom is Norwegian, so he is both born in Norway, is a norwegian citizen and has a Norwegian mom, so I’d say he’s Norwegian. Chirag is a Norwegian citizen, was born in Norway, but has foreign parents. My point is that if you can’t say someone that is a Norwegian citizen and is born in Norway is Norwegian, then who can you say is from anywhere? Also their wikipedia says they’re Norwegian, so if you would like to argue any further, argue with Wikipedia.

    • @johryt2733

Also I would like to point out that I never said in my original comment that they’re Norwegian I just said their music is Norwegian.

The karpe diem song is about racism and how much it’s still a problem that affects the «best» and wealthiest countries, like norway, that everyone thinks is problemfree - which it most definitely is not. And the song wants to show how amazing countries like Norway still has a long way to go.
