I get Barracuda, and early Charger vibes, from the back glass as well as a touch of AMC Marlin too, very neat car. that Riley at 2:44 does indeed have a very pretty color combination 😍The Triumph at 3:20 is stunning, it reminds me of the Ferrari Elena, which I believe was also built by Vignale, didn't that designer design other cars for triumph as well? The Jensen Interceptor is an amazing surprise, and being a convertible is even more impressive, don't think I have ever seen a convertible version. Very Cool Ferrari edition Fiat 500 at 7:22 The Zodiac at 8:08 is absolutely gorgeous 😍 I love the classic paint scheme.Great Story about the Wolseley 6 and a beautifully restored car at 9:38 for sure.. Excellent video 👌 Thanks for Sharing 😀
Thanks JT pleased you enjoyed it. I was never really a fan of the Rapier but this car was one which could make you change your opinion. As i said i had never seen the Barracuda in the styling cues until i was doing the video. Don't know if you are familiar with Bob Riggle and the Hemi under glass(Barracuda). I was fortunate to meet him back in 2004 at the Goodwood festival of Speed. I believe it was also his Birthday on that date. He only made two appearances i think at Goodwood the last one not long before he died in 2023. Not sure about other work vignale did for Triumph but Michelloti did a lot of design work for Triumph. Really a very nice top ten award in different categories. I really like this idea as a re-cap for the all the cool cars you've seen in 2024! And you just remember about what you've seen this year. And Glyn there have been so much .... so hard to chose! Absolutely loving the Peugeot 309! And having a look from inside makes it so perfect! When I am thinking back then it is so difficukt because I've seen so many cool cars this year and yet I am not even finished to show all of them. Fiat really did well about the modern 500 ... same about BMW with the Mini! Although the originals wil still and always be the originals! But for a modern retro car these are super cool! The Wolseley was really perfectly restored - great looking car - also a car that I didn't see over here, Wishing you also a great Christmas Glyn! Have a great time with your family!
The standard of cars on show is quite high these days compared to a few years ago so its not easy to single them out as there are so many lovely cars but there are a few for whatever reason just catch your attention. Like you I still have quite a few shows which have not been aired. I also like the new Mini ,had they remained a part of the Rover group it may have been a different story and outcome for them. I would just like to wish you are your family a very Merry Christmas whatever you are doing my friend and i hope it is special for you.
@TipTopMotors. The "BMW" Mini is also pretty popular over here. Once I've been to a Mini Meet and I actually expected to see mostlikely the old ones and I was surprised it were mostlikely the modern ones. I am not a big fan of the new tail lights on the brandnew Mini. The triangle shaped tail lights are looking odd to me. Thank you very much Glyn! I am also wishing you and your family a merry christmas!
