So pleased you have enjoyed them. I had tried to bring some interesting classifieds to the channel but unfortunately after contacting the owners i received no response and as such i respect their right to privacy. I agree with what you say about the cars which have virtually disappeared. Considering Nissan were built in such numbers its hard to believe there are so few left.
Good round up Glyn, I think the DB7 identifies as a Lotus with the yellow nose 🤣 I thought the E30 touring was reasonable too, although like you said you'd really need to see it in person but it didn't sound expensive 🤔 haha..as soon as you looked at the Mondeo I thought ex-police car! AX GT was a clean thing! 👍
Cheers Neil, it wasn.t intended to be as in depth but i got too involved and carried away. i also selected too many cars so i've got 2 more videos which i will release in the next 2 days. I had a choice dont issue but as i had already done them might as well put them out people can either view or not. Any future videos like this i will try and make them less longwinded.
Citroen AX - I can remember these cars. Especially the Diesel was super fuel economic. A very basic car but also popular here in Germany. It's also ages ago when I've seen the last one. I've the same opinion about the yellow grill on the DB7 - I'd get it painted, too. The price of the E30 estate sounds really acceptable. I also like these E30s very much especially the cabriolet and the estate. Sunbeam Alpine and Tiger are such great looking cars. In 2015 I've seen the first one (was the Tiger with the V8). Back then I was believing it is an American car but as I figured out it is a British roadster and such a beautiful looking one! The Primera sounds great for 3000 pounds. And like you're saying "when have you seen the last one?" - it's also ages ago and I can't even remember to have ever seen the GS trim on them. When mentioning the Nissan Bluebird - I liked them very much. These looked so nice as saloon and hatchback. The Mondeo ST200 is really cool - and like you're saying these were mostlikely in blue metallic. Looking very nice in white. Interesting to see so many great classics for around 3000 to 5000 pounds which is around 3600 to 6000 Euros.
Cheers Sven, got a bit too involved and went perhaps into too much detail and got 1 more today and tomorrow. If i do anymore like this i will try to not go into them too much.
@@TipTopMotors. I liked how you did it - so no worries. The only issue I'm seeing is the duration of the video. As I am remembering when I created longer videos. So usually 10 minutes seem to be the magic border. But in this case I'd just say do it like you did but perhabs separated in two parts.
@@BFDdrives Appreciate the feedback. I was conscious it was too long but it was done. Next two are slightly shorter but i will bear in mind if i do any more be more selective and limit the time.
I watched live - my mate was bidding on the AX but decided £7k was his limit. The DB7 was an absolute bargain - I think the 'yellow nose' put people off. What wasn't a bargain was the fire damaged Cosworth 😵
That's it set a limit and stick to it. It can be so easy to get carried away and think one more bid. The DB7 got to have been the cheapest yet. The yellow nose could soon have been dealt with.
Love these vids.. The AX and the Primera: 🤯. Weird to see cars that I never really noticed but were everywhere, and now they're noteworthy rarities.
