Wow. This was an excellent teaching on the spirit of error. I'm going on with my day with a renewed mindset on discerning the spirit of error in my life and loving my brothers and sisters I encounter with the heart of God ❤. Thank you for this clear teaching!!

Thank you so much Scott for the exhortation and the building up. Very grateful for it. For me I didn’t know what love looked like and always went on feelings so in studying out 1 Corinthians 13 I began to know what it looked like . And as the end of chapter 12 says it is a more excellent way. By His grace and mercy I am walking in love more often. Thank you Father. Blessings to you all at BIH

In accordance with 1 john 4:1-21, matthew 22:29, john 16:13, 2 corinthians 6:14-18, matthew 6:24 and this whole message I bind to hell every spirit of error in my life, the lives of my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquitances, opponents, those around me and the body of Christ while binding to hell every lack of freedom from the spirit of error and binding one to increase in the spirit of truth, binding to hell being unequally yoked with and have any common share with any evildoer serving satan in carry or causing a spirit of error whole lacking freedom from the spirit of error and lacking increase in the spirit of truth, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!❤

What is the difference between someone who has a spirit of error but is a believer, someone who is not a believer, and someone who is a believer but has a hard heart so is very slow to change? One thing I did hear is that a spirit of error will twist God’s word.

I would agree that spirits of error twist God’s Word. The main difference between: a believer, non-believer, hard-hearted believer is related to 2 primary issues: 1) how subtle the lie is and what sort of lies we accept and 2) how we respond to the spirit of error
Let’s use a scripture as an example:
      Matthew 6:14-15
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
      1) Examples of a lie someone may believe:
      - a believer: Perhaps they believe they should forgive, but have decided what sins committed against them they will and won’t forgive. They don’t deny scriptures entirely, but they believe in “exceptions,” which the bible does not permit. They may believe certain small sins could be forgiven, but larger ones cannot be forgiven.
      - non-believer: May believe the bible is just a bunch of fables. They may EVEN agree that forgiveness is a good thing, but don’t believe in God nor the bible.
      - hard-hearted: They may believe they don’t have to repent to God or forgive others. They are not allowing God to convict them so they resist the idea they have sin requiring repentance.
      2) Regardless of how the spirit of error twists God’s Word, the dividing line is found in the solution. Any of the above must ultimately be willing to address these errors before God and repent for following a spirit of error to walk in freedom apart from these deceptions. This requires the decision to humble ourselves and choose to follow God’s Word despite ideas we have followed in the past.
      I hope that helps.

You are teaching false doctrines. Not forgiving an unrepentant transgressor is not unforgiveness, it is holding people accountable for their sins.
