You did a good job bro! Very good quality video, except for the occasional background noise! But otherwise very through and methodical! The filter gave you a bit of a difficult time, but you overcame it! I liked it! Don't let the negative comments get to you!

+MrAstamos +Antonios Stamos Did this tune up fix the misfire issue? I have the same codes but no actual misfiring... the car runs great. I changed out everything you did except for the O2 sensors, I also swapped all 4 ignition coils, removed and thoroughly cleaned the throttle body, checked the injectors and replaced the o-rings, and cleaned out the EGR passages which were gunked up, but I'm STILL getting the misfire codes. I'm gonna clean and possibly replace the EGR valve next, and replace O2 sensors like you did, but just wanted to ask you before I throw more parts at the car. Thanks in advance!

Did you replace the egr** valve? I literally just ordered one online for my 02 civic ex. I’m getting the misfire codes and the cars not accelerating correctly. Already replaced plugs and coils so I’m hoping the new valve fixes this bullshit

@@ManuelGomez-rm1rt Actually I still have the same problem today. I'm thinking I need to get my valves adjusted. There's no real misfire issues so I just clear the codes every couple weeks but it's definitely annoying. I think I've done all I could, but I might take it to a shop at this point.

Why didnt you just get a multi volt meter and test them out?

When I was going to replace the plugs, 3 of 4 cylinders were covered in motor oil. What's up? Just had the timing belt replaced and gas pump. Now its banging like a shotgun and takes forever to start and runs terrible.

Sounds like the gasket on your rocker cover is failing. It's easier to fix than the head gasket.

how would u tell by switching the coils if all 4 cylinders are misfiring? there's nothing to move or check in this case, now if u had a cylinder that was not missing then that be the one to witch it with

How do you know which cylinder is 1, 2 or 3?

Hi MrAstamos, great video, but I do have another question, what Scanner Brand and model of the scanner are you using in this video to connect to the OBD-2 Connector?

Markuss Le-smale The scanner is a Sears Craftsman brand scanner. Hope this answers your question Markuss.

!60,XXX miles time for ignition coils (4). Someone also used two different heat range plugs in the vehicle...big no no. Obvious by the porcelain end of the plug. Whoever did that needs to stop working on vehicles. There is no way to visually tell whether a coil is working or not. At 160,XXX miles they need to be replaced...period. One can expect at min. 140-160K miles out of a set of coils.

Are new ignition coils really important? my car has 141k miles. 02 civic manual ex. not sure if the ignition coils have ever been changed before and ive been wondering why the car accelerates soo slow
Will new coils fix the hesitation under acceleration?

@@Mrpoker-hr1ud They're important but I highly doubt that would be what is causing your hesitation under acceleration. My 05 EX has 202k on the original coils, not sure about 140-160k miles, that seems way too short of a life span. However, once one of your coils goes, the other three are not far behind. Speaking from experience from working on my girlfriends Toyota.
