    If only E,F,M and R could run this smoothly whenever these type of situations happened on the queens blvd line.

      Well this is one line vs 4

      Donkey the 7 is a single line with no express West of 74th, the E, F, M and R have multiple switches. How can this occur on QBL 💀

      @@FuseguyisCool And? Most of the time with the E,F,M,R they either get subjected to other lines in manhattan or they stop them completely halfway when these similar types of events occur thats the point I'm trying to make.

      @irinaxeno5961 exactly my point, you cannot wrong rail any line on QBL without suspending at least the M/R because the E/F have priority

    The two 7 trains at Court Square going in the same direction REALLY scrambled my brain for a second.
    The only reason I could see that happening is two northbound trains arriving at the same time, but that also doesn't explain why it didn't just wait for the other train to clear Court Square.
    Great video!

      Yeah that was quite surreal to see! I think that they had planned to send the train on the southbound track around it, but the incident ended up clearing and they just let the train on the normal track go ahead. Still made for a cool sight. I just wish the reverse running train had left sooner/quicker.

    Did you know that the second avenue El was the seven train, third eight, sixth nine, ninth ten.

      No they weren’t buddy, the only one that is true is the third Avenue el and it’s (8) rollsign on maps as it survived long enough to get a designation.

      @@BMTEnjoyer160 they were internally designated those numbers when the Manhattan Els were bought by the irt.

    What is the title and role of the person in the forward cab with the Operators? 18:10

    • @TechandTransit
      @TechandTransit  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

      Train Service Supervisor. They have a variety of roles but in this instance they were most likely there to ensure everything went smoothly and correct any potential issues given this was not a normal operation.
